The furnace stopped working on a Sunday morning... I called them and they said they could fix it the same day. It turned out that the igniter was faulty.

I was very satisfied with the $39 price for a service call and the first visit the next day. When the first service person left the middle of the day on a Thursday, he told me the part was ordered and would hopefully be installed the next day, but if not, hopefully over the weeked. I heard nothing at all from the company on Friday or over the weekend. Monday morning, after a cold weekend spent in front of the fireplace during the day and with both my daughter and I partially warmed by a space heater in a bedroom we shared so we only had to heat one room, I called Airton to check on the status. I was told that the part had been ordered and was expected to come in by the end of the day. I expressed concern that the house was almost too cold to stay in and I did not understand why, when the part was ordered Thursday afternoon, it would not have been available to be installed Friday or, at the latest, Monday morning. When I asked why the part had not been ordered with expedited shipping from Federal Express or a similar service so the part could arrive first thing Monday morning and be installed, the customer service agent indicated that their suppliers did not offer any type of expedited service. That is when I decided never to use Airtron again. When the customer is paying the shipping, I don't know of any company, especially one people rely on for heat, that would not provide expedited shipping when requested. On Tuesday morning, between 10 and 11 am, I still had not heard back, and called again. This time I was told that the part had come in the afternoon before, and I was on their list to call. Ultimately, the service person came out Tuesday afternoon and installed the part, and the furnace is now working. The cost of the furnace repair was "only" $428 because my furnace was only 3 years old and under some type of partial warranty. Without the partial warranty, it would have been about $600. This seems ridiculous to me, but since I really can't say if this is a fair price based upon what others would have charged, I left off my grade for "price". While I will never use Airton again because of their seemingly lack of concern that my daughter and I had no heat, both service people (the first who analyzed the problem, and the second who installed the new part) were prompt and professional. I have used many other services that were not nearly as critical as having heat inside my house, and they did a much better job of keeping me updated on any service orders, and took any concerns I had seriously instead of making a crazy comment like "our suppliers don't offer expedited shipping."

They arrived on time and did service . There was some miscommunication with office but the serviceman straightened it out.

We had arranged service via Angie's List with a special coupon. The furnace had been acting up, not keeping consistent temperature as set on the thermostat. The flame was shutting itself off shortly after the furnace turned on to heat. Somehow the coupon submittal was not picked up by Airtron until the following week. They left me a message, after which we could schedule the visit. The technician arrived on time, and promptly checked out the furnace. Apparently all it needed was a cleaning. After the visit, all was well with the furnace! Aside from the miscue from the Angie's List scheduling, the experience was very positive. I would recommend if a coupon offer is presented on Angie's list, the best way to take advantage is to purchase the coupon and then call up the vendor directly to get the appointment scheduled. The company did a fine job and was very prompt and courteous, at an excellent coupon price!

They replaced the capacitor that had burned out due to a mouse getting in it.

On first visit, the tech checked out the A/C but couldn't find source of noise, and of course the noise didnt occurr while he was there. Charged a service call fee, but he told me if the noise started again, just let them know and he would be right out at no additional service fee. The next day the A/C wouldn't cool. Called them out again and a different tech found a bad capacitor. Changed it for just the cost of parts & labor. The next day the clicking noise started again so I again called them out. The first tech returned and because he could hear it, he found it right away. It was a bad relay. I told him my brother who is an electritian could replace it for me. He said great but he would go ahead and disconnect it so it would stop making that annoying noise (the relay was for the humidifier on the furnace & did not affect A/C) All this without charging me another dime. Both tech's were very friendly and professional. I originally found them on Angies List and would recommend them without reservation.

Heat went out the replace the furnace the gave Airtron a call they installed the furnace. It works great!!!

The installer Logan was on time. Logan and the other installer worked quickly and were very good at answering all my questions.

Sales submitted a proposal with incorrect furnace and vague wording. Took 4 days to get the furnace working due to an unnoticed error with the installation. Overall, not professional.

They were great. We signed up for their yearly service plan. They are very good about following up and reminding me.

Everything went fine. Mike arrived on time, was efficient, explained everything.

We have a very friendly lab dog that gets excited when repair techs come in. We have service people in frequently and have no problems. Our dog starting barking as he does until the person pets him or talks to him. This particular tech stood frozen in the foyer and would not move. I told him just to pet him and he would be okay. He said he would not touch THAT dog and remained in the foyer until I put the dog in the back yard. His estimate to put in a $50 part was $904. He would not give me a copy of the estimate. I asked for a breakdown of parts and labor and he said "we don't do that." I had a coupon for free service call but since I did not have them repair the problem there was another fee. He took my credit card number, I asked for a receipt and he said I emailed it to you. I never received a receipt. Long story short, my husband went to a supply house, bought the part and put it in himself with the help of phone directions from a friend of a neighbor who was an air and heating tech with another company. That saved us $854. This company is outrageous with their pricing. We had used them in the past but will not use them again.

They are responsive and professional. We would recommend them and plan to use their services after warranty expiration.

They were very thorough and knowledgeable at the initial consultation. They were prompt with pricing and quick to schedule the work. Installers were on time and did a good job.

We had them out a year prior to replace an electronic thermometer and I specifically said to them that I wanted a thermostat that would be compatible with any unit because I knew we would be upgrading in the near future. Those thermostats run are like $600 and it turned out that when they came out to install the new unit it wasn’t compatible. They did discount our rate, but it was still an annoyance. They took about $200 off, making it about $500 to purchase a new thermostat. I didn’t feel that the first group of people really listened to me. All the rest of our experience with them was absolutely fine. They were clean and prompt which was very important because my husband has asthma. They got everything installed and it’s a good unit that has reduced our energy bills. We have been very pleased with the unit. I would consider hiring them again but with reservations.

They were very punctual, knowledgeable, candid and professional. They discussed repairs, replacement options and most affordable replacement options with us. They performed the replacement promptly and competently, and provided financing.

It went well. I was called ahead of time and it was done in 2 hrs. Both technicians worked well and were efficient and friendly.

They introduce themselves & let me know what was involved in replacing the furnace. They worked quickly & efficiently.

They looked over furnace as second opinion. Assured me of actual age of furnace and that I just needed to change out filter. Running fine. Will definately use again

I purchased a $39 deal for diagnostics from these people on 10/25 (Friday). They responded on10/26 via e-mail and were at my house within one day of me calling them, which was Wednesday, 10/30 (I forgot to check my message via Angie's list until then.) The warranty on my furnace had just expired, and they had to order the part. It arrived on Friday, 11/1 and I made an appointment with them for the following day (Saturday 11/2). The technician arrived right on time and replaced the part within an hour. The only complaint I have about this company is that they charge by the job, not parts/labor. The part was covered by warranty, so for one hour's work on what I know is a standard repair cost me $438. That is very steep in my opinion, esp. after I searched online and found that the average cost, including the new blower motoer, was between $475-$675. Perhaps I'm naive, but the price seems high. That said, everyone was very professional and friendy, and this company installed my furnace, I will probably use them again, but not before doing a bit of shopping around.

Airtron was just great!! It's taken me a couple months to review them as we are just finishing a big interior home remodel. We were not expecting to have to replace the upper HVAC, but the old unit died with a ton of other contractors working in the house like painters and floor guys and they all needed the AC working ASAP. Long story short...AIrtron was reviewed well on Anglie's List and they did not disappoint in our time of need. They showed up to quote on a Wednesday and had the new HVAC unit installed by Friday! And they did it in the midst of a chaotic home renovation. Very polite and very thorough. AC works great and we have also kicked on the heat now that it's getting chilly. The crew gave me all the warranty info for my new Bryant HVAC as well as tips on when to service my older basement HVAC too. Highly recommended!
