On 5/10 Scott purchased a coupon from Angie's List to service our air conditioner. Determined at the visit that the unit was not repairable. We then decided to purchase/replace our aging units. Very happy with service technician and sales representative, Rex.

The job went well. They came and got done real quick. I'ts a little more money than I hope but over all it's pretty good.

Dave Roop and partner arrived on time, were very polite and nice. They did a great job very neat and cleaned up really well. The price was good.

All in all the visit repair went OK. Due to the fact that we weren't "contract" customers, we waited three days for service. The repair man showed up at 9:00 pm (we were given a time window of "after 4") and quickly identified the problem but was unable to fix it because he didn't have the part on his truck. He told us that someone would contact us in the morning to come and finish the repair and that there would be no additional cost involved. I called the company around 11:00 am because we hadn't heard anything. They didn't have enough information regarding the problem and said they would call me back with details. Two calls later, I received a call from the manager that explained they had tracked down the part but there would be an additional cost to "recharge" the system but that he would give that to us at a discounted "contract" price and that someone would be out to take care of that service that evening. Service was completed by a very conscientious repair man. The manager called the next morning and explained to us that he was going to give us a "twice per year" maintenance agreement for the upcoming year at no cost. As I said, the repair scenario went OK thanks to the fact that in the end, we did have A/C thanks to the manager.

Quick response from repair unit, who facilitated same-day estimate for new furnace. Thoroughly explained details and options. Quick scheduling of installation. Installers were on time, professional, very pleased.

The guys showed up on time and completed the job quickly. They were very courteous.

We looked them up on Angie's List. They did a fantastic job. We were really pleased with them. No one was able to get out there that night. But they did come the next day and were able to get it repaired for a reasonable cost. They were very courteous, punctual and professional. They were very helpful when we were having heat outage on below zero temperature days. We would definitely recommend them.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it turned out just fine. I think they came out very shortly after I purchased the Big Deal. They advised us about getting new ones because they are getting old. We said we would consider it. I thought their pricing was pretty good. The pricing was pretty competitive and the Big Deal was a good deal. I think they did everything just fine and were friendly.

Very thorough. The Service Tech. was in our home from a little over an hour checking our equipment, climbing into our attic and checking our registers. He advised that all the equipment was working correctly. Due to the size of our home, he advised we run our bedroom ceiling fans in reverse to help draw up the cooler air. Thus far, everything seems to be better temperature wise.

Jonathan arrived on time and was very professional (he had a trainee with him as well who was equally so). They found that the wire had been pulled from the unit and within 10 minutes, had it back up and running. I had purchased a Big Deal for a $49.00 service call and a $100 credit towards the service. Without the Big Deal and the credit included, theoretically this service would have cost $473.00 ($89.00 for diagnostic service call and $384.00 for the service work). That cost, for 10 minutes of work, would have been crazy, but the Big Deal helped and they did throw in an A/C tune-up a few weeks from now at no additional cost (an $89.00 value) so in theory, for all services performed, the cost is roughly $244.00, which I suppose is alright. The price felt high, but I am also not familiar with anything HVAC (tech or pricing wise), and so I suppose I'm not really in a position to judge. Very professional, courteous and overall a good service experience.

Two associates arrived on time and they listened to my request about where to put the new pad in relation to my flower beds. The worksite was neat and clean. They showed me how to work the new thrermostat before they left.

I wasn't home but they did the job quickly and efficiently. They were only at the home for about 45 minutes.

The service provided by Airtron during this installation was absolutely outstanding! The sales person Mr. Blake Lackey that visited our home was by far the best representative of this company. We received bids from 4 other companies, but only Mr. Lackey took the time to explain everything we needed and was the only one who did not try to sell us more than we needed. He was extremely personable and professional. If you call them for the Indianapolis area, be sure to ask for Blake. The actual installation was also phenomenal. Danie and Greg were the installers. They worked all day, designing and installing the system. They even worked through the lunch period. They patiently explained to us the proper use of the equipment after they were done. The whole experience with AirTron was perfect. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking to replace their HVAC system. They even threw in 5 years of maintenance with the price. Give they a try, you will not be disappointed.

Air conditioner was not working properly. Tech determined the problem and solution quickly and efficiently. Would highly recommend.

We purchased a pre-service discount coupon through Angie's List for $49. The coupon was supposed to cover cost of a service call + $100 off any repair charge. The technician was at our house well less than 1 hour. The only parts replaced were two fuses (cost less than $1 each). They billed $384 for the less than 1 hour of labor. After applying our supposed $100 discount we were left to pay $284 (plus the $49 we had pre-paid). I was not home at the time of the repair. When my wife told me the total charge I called Airtron to ask why it was so high for so little work. They returned my call and told me the technician billed it incorrectly, and I should have been billed $325. They are supposed to be sending a $59 refund. Based on similar services I have had performed, $325 is still an extremely high labor charge for so little actual work. If you hire Airtron beware of sticker shock. Be sure to get a quote for the charges before any work is performed. The $100 discount they offer through Angie's list does not seem to be a good deal based on the rates they charge!

I called on May 7th to make the appointment time for the service call. The time was supposed to be 5 PM or after on May 9th. When I asked what the "or after" meant I was told that it should be close to that time. In fact, they would probably contact me before 5 to see if I was available. On the 9th 5 PM came and went... and then 6... and then 7. I tried a few different times to call the contact number and no one answered. Finally at approximately 9:20 PM I received a call that someone would be there in approximately 30 minutes. Mike did arrive in 30 minutes and proceeded to check out my outside air unit that had a fan that was not working. After checking it out he gave me a quote for a new condenser fan motor. The quote was for $909 plus the $89 service call. He then let me know that he didn't recommend that I get the unit fixed because it was the old Freon R-22 based system. He would send someone out the next day to quote me a whole new unit. The next day a "comfort consultant" came out to quote me a new unit. He recommended a new outside unit plus a new coil for my furnace. By this time, I had time to do my homework, and I was now armed with information about prices of both the repair/replacement parts and new units. When I brought up these prices that I had found on the internet and from a trusted A/C repair person that I knew, I was told that it was like comparing "apples and oranges" even though it was for the same parts and same units quoted to me from Airtron. I was then told that these were not installed prices, although they were. Finally, I was told that for a new unit replacement in Marion County the county requires a permit. Okay... so that costs less than $100. Finally, the "comfort consultant" left. I called another company/repair person that was recommended to me from a friend. Matt came out the very next day. Was pleasant, helpful and explained to me the problem and didn't talk down to me. The problem ended up being the same problem that Airtron had pointed out to me, however the quote was for only $400 installed!!! In fact, Matt said it wouldn't have been near that much but this particular part for my Trane unit was $335 just for the part. I am now extremely happy and SAVED 60% by NOT USING Airtron.

Great service. On time. Courteous. Professional. Did his job quickly and moved on to his next appointment so we could get on with our day.

Excellent service....twice a year they come out and check on equipment. Always professional, clean and careful not to track dirt in the house.

I used 2 Angies List Big Deals. The dispatcher called to let me know that the technician, Greg, was available earlier and asked if that was ok. He arrived when she said he would, wore clean booties in my house and put up with my barking dog. Greg did a great job, didn't give me the hard upwell that I have gotten from other companies and was both friendly and polite. I'll definitely be using Airtron in the fall and will ask for Greg.
