FLORAL DESIGN
We worked with Becky Ruby-Wojtowicz, the owner of Lilly Lane, for our floral design.  I had seen her work in two previous weddings in which I had served as a bridesmaid, and her designs were so unique and creative?unlike anything I had ever seen
before.  I didn?t need to interview other florists because I knew Becky?s work to be incredible and her prices to be affordable.
Honestly, I was one of those brides who had a ?grand idea? in her head but had no idea how or where to begin implementing it.  When we had our first consultation with Becky, I described our favorite colors and a general interest in utilizing a damask
print in the design.  From there, Becky came up with a brilliant design using green apples and unique green flowers.  She is creative and thoughtful, and I knew what she would design would be beautiful.  Our flowers and centerpieces turned out even
better than I could have imagined!  We had several people comment about how beautiful our flowers and centerpieces
were? I even have a Facebook photo of someone sneaking some of the centerpieces from the cocktail tables (spider mums in an apple vase) in their purse because they loved them so much.
For those brides who dread spending ?so much money on flowers because they?ll die?? you need to sit down with Lilly Lane and
Becky.  In your initial meeting, she doesn?t ask you about how much you want to spend like some places that ask and then magically produce a quote that is exactly there or slightly more!  She?ll work with you to come up with an incredible design and provide a quote and you can add or subtract from there.  I highly recommend the team at Lilly Lane. 
EVENT PLANNING

Ok? so I?ve been a bridesmaid 10 plus times.  I know the drill.  I figured as a bride it would be a piece of cake.  Boy was I wrong? wedding planning was so much more time consuming and stressful than I ever imagined.  I had several friends who had married before me that all suggested that I hire someone to assist me the day of the wedding? but I resisted.  I mean why spend that money on something I can do myself?  
Trust me, hiring Rachel Doyel from Lilly Lane is the best money you will spend for your wedding.  We hired Rachel a few
months before our wedding day after realizing how overwhelming everything would be as the day neared.  Rachel met with us
a few times in the months leading up to the day and then more frequently a month out.  She was available via phone
and e-mail throughout that time as well. Rachel attended vendor meetings with us and served as the point person with all vendors in the weeks leading up to the day.  She created a detailed timeline that outlined how everything would go that day.  She
helped implement my vision for my favors and did so much more!  She anticipated issues and solved them before I had even considered them.  She is organized, creative, thoughtful, and supportive? but don?t let her fool you, she will also jump in and resolve any problem, even the awkward family ones, without issue.
Rachel was so incredibly helpful and supportive of my husband and me during the most important time of our lives.  She was a shoulder to cry on, a person to vent to and a friend who will shoot it to you straight when you go a little crazy? you NEED this sort of help for your wedding.  And please don?t burden your friends and family with this responsibility?let them enjoy the party and have Rachel take care of the rest.  My parents have continuously said how grateful they are to Rachel because they were able to
simply enjoy our day and truly serve as hosts (and not have to be directing vendors and making sure everything behind the scenes was going well).  Schedule a time and meet with Rachel? you won?t regret it.
