Quality of work is excellent as always (we have used Fine Painting for multiple projects in the past). Communication with office was very good (an improvement over last year). You pay just a bit more for Fine but they are worth it (most times you get what you pay for!).

They were easy to get in contact with and arrived promptly for the estimate. Polite and responsive. When matching the bid apples to apples with other Angie's List A rated painters (we received 4 bids), their cost was nearly triple. Same brand and type of paint, same number of coats...everything. it was so far off that we could only guess they didn't want the job. Obviously we chose another company.

Mike & Chris arrived at 8:15 A.M. as promised; introduced themselves and reviewed the projects. While Mike tackled the ceiling in the family room, Chris started on the hallway ceiling. They covered the area where work was being performed; completed the work within the allotted time and did an excellent job of clean up afterwards. We are very pleased with the work that was done by Fine Painting and would highly recommend them. We had this company do some exterior painting for us several years ago and again we were very pleased with the results. It is obvious why Fine Painting annually is selected as an Angie's List Award winner since I believe about 2001.

Bob and his crew did a great job. We had to wait for the weather to warm up this spring, but I appreciated that Bob did not rush into painting our house exterior until we had dry warm weather for the paint to adhere properly. We had lots of questions for Bob and he always answered promptly and honestly. They did a really good job--the house looks like new again.

They did an excellent job! I have used them twice now and will use them again.

First, I want to give much praise to Ryan the estimator they sent out to my home, he was fantastic. I am selling my home and I had 2 other painting contractors quote the job, but Fine Painting was by far the most honest and up front about what did and did not need to be done under the circumstances. Originally I had asked that the job be quoted with and without trim being redone and Ryan was the only person that quoted the job that took me room by room and told me what he recommended I should and should not do considering I am selling the house and I appreciated his honesty. At the end of the quoting process Fine Painting was significantly less than the first company that quoted and could finish the job sooner than the other company that quoted. There were only a couple of minor hiccups - they started the job on a Friday when I was going out of town and a miscommunication between the office and the painting crew resulted in the master bedroom being left off the list of work to be done and the crew left when they completed what they had been told to complete and ended up having to come back another day to finish the job. There were several touchups that were required and 2 walls they just didn?t paint in the kitchen, but it was all fixed when they came back to paint the master bedroom. The only complaint I would say that I had with the entire experience is when I called the office to tell them the master bedroom had not been painted they told me the crew would be back to finish on Monday, but if for any reason they weren?t going to be there on Monday they would call me. (Monday wasn?t an issue because originally I was told the job would take 2 days). If I had not called the office on Monday morning I would not have known that the crew was not coming that day, (there were a couple of people that were out). Had I not called the office I would not have known they were not coming on Monday - the message I received from the person who was supposed to call me if there were any problems was ?he ran out of time to call me and tell me they weren?t coming first thing that morning?. That is not good customer service ? you make time to let your customers know you are not going to be able to meet a commitment. Even with a few minor hiccups in the process overall, I am very happy with Fine Painting and would highly recommend them.

The painters arrived on time and got straight to work prepping the room. There were 2 crew members and while one did the trim work the other started to roll. It was a large space and even with a much-deserved lunch break, they finished in 6 hours. That may seem like a long time, but again... it was a large space and they finished in 6 hours what would have taken my wife and I days. The quality of work is exceptional and we've received several compliments on the paint job. I have already hired them again to paint our master bedroom.

I was very disappointed with the company initially. The two painters sent over did very little work -- I'd hired them for four hours worth of painting -- and after they left I saw that they didn't even paint some trim they said they had. I called the company to complain and must say I was impressed with the response. They sent another team of painters out to do more work. This team was much more professional. In the end, I felt the work done during the two visits was worth the price. That said, clearly the experience you have is dependent on the particular team the company sends out.

Due to the fact our furnace is in the attic, on numerous occasions, the HVAC servicemen placed their hands (or feet) on a recessed ceiling light while crawling thru the attic. The result was that the light was broken loose from the hole in the ceiling where it was contained. Fine Painting came out to access the situation and advised that 1) I could buy a new light or 2) I could remove the fixture and have the resulting hole in the ceiling patched. I opted for the second option and removed the fixture prior to their arrival. We had a hole in the ceiling of approximately 10" in diameter.. To add to the difficulty of the job, there were multiple layers of drywall on the ceiling. On April 9th, Fine Painting sent Mike out to do the work. He was very thorough and was very precise cutting out the right size piece of plaster and in fitting it into the open space. While he waited for the mud to dry, he attended to five other areas of concern. Two of those areas were gouges made when a shelf was removed from the wash room and the other three were small cracks in the plaster in various rooms. He went about his work in a very methodical manner. He was very careful not to get insulation or drywall debris on our floors. After he was done, the gouges in the washroom had disappeared like magic and the ceiling looked as if it had just been installed. I was very impressed with Mike. He was clean, neat,and polite. He stated he had been with Fine Painting for 12 years. The company vehicle also presented a favorable image for the company. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend Fine Painting for future drywall repairs. I give them an A+ !

Bought the deal for 4 hours worth of repairs. Originally scheduled for a different date but they weren't going to be able to make it as planned. They called a couple days ahead of time to make sure rescheduling would work. It was no problem to reschedule. Work was performed quickly and looked really nice. Cleaned up before they left.

They arrived by 10AM on a Saturday morning with at least 8 people. They all worked together, helped each other, and finished the job in one day. I was impressed. The house looks wonderful.They were very neat. No paint spills. No paint on the windows or screens. They removed all hardware, light fixtures when painting that area. They removed the old storm door so our installer can install the newly purchased door. They could then paint the frame of the front door. My screened in porch looks new with the new screen and molding they installed. Dave was easy to work with and to schedule. I signed the contract on 4/3 and the job was finished on 4/5. He worked with his crew and checked out the work after the crew finished for the day. I had hired Dave Fine several years earlier to replace some bad siding and paint one side of the house. That job went well so I hired him again this year to paint the entire house. The only thing I did not get was the discount because I forgot to check Angie's list for the discount he offers.

The team did a very nice job and was very professional.

The 2 member crew did an excellent job. They were prompt and efficient. Completed the punch list in less than 4 hours. They perfectly matched the texture in my ceiling, and the paint on the walls. They went the extra mile...my paint had frozen so needed to replace 3 cans of paint. I had a doctors appointment and Mike, one of the crew, offered to go pick up the paint I'd ordered so I could make my appointment. My only minor 'ding' is I wish the drywall guy was a bit more careful on clean up...he used my bathroom for clean up and I found plaster spots in several places. I would still use them again...excellent work.

The painter was very professional and did a great job. The calking and painting we are very happy with. He was always on time and worked continually. He was very helpful in explaining what he was doing and why.

Bob Fine called back almost immediately and was able to schedule a next day visit with Greg. Greg was running early, and called to ok an earlier appt.. Greg came across very knowledgeable on paint and painting particulars. He reinforced their employees experience, sharing that they weren't just seasonal painters. The estimate arrived via e-mail, in a very timely manner, and Mr. Fine called us several times to follow up. Their estimate was competitive with two other A-Rated painting businesses I called. It was a difficult choice to decline their proposal, but I decided to go with a company who spelled out everything, including the Angie's List discount.

It went great! The quality of the drywall repair and painting is very well done. Greg Fine showed up for the estimate appointment time right when expected. Painters showed up each day on time. Follow up call given by one of the owners today to ask how it went. Customer service excellent, too. I plan to get an estimate for removal of some wall covering and would use them again in a heart beat. I wish I had more rooms that need painting!

Upon removal of a section of drywall, termites had attacked a single wall stud. The stud was replaced and adjacent materials were inspected for damage (none found). New drywall was installed and the seams filled and sanded. The wall was painted the next day. We were happy with the results. Cannot tell where the repair completed.

They did a great job. They arrived promptly, worked straight through the day, cleaned up daily, and were pleasant to work with. I have used them in the past and will use them in the future.

My wife, who was home during the work, says that the three men who did the work were efficient, hard workers and very courteous. I was surprised that, considering all the repair and painting that was needed, that the work was done in a day. The results were excellent and the cost reasonable. We highly recommend the company for this type of work.

It went very well. The painter showed up on time in the morning and got started repairing nail pops. After he started painting, he mentioned that the eggshell paint I had provided would not be best for the entryway and that a flat paint would be better. I was able to run to the store to pick up some flat paint and he started using that. It looks great! So I appreciated him recommending a better product. He also covered up the old water stains on our ceiling and it looks great. You can't even tell that stains had been there. Very happy with the service.
