It went out fine. They came out the same day that I bought the big deal. The first team came out and saw that there were some mold. I called them and they never called me back. They were scared of the mold. They decided that they didn't want the job and left without calling. He said I needed a new roof. I never paid anything because they never asked to get paid and didn't do anything. If you have a difficult thing, you will have a problem. Don't hire them. Leaving without telling the person who ordered the service is never good.

Tyler was on time, very professional, answered all of our questions, worked efficiently and quickly, and had our estimate back within a few days.

Very punctual and professional - showed up when expected and provided evaluation of roof. I had a leak in ceiling and was trying to find the cause - roof or clogged gutter, etc. He found no real issues with roof but commented the flashing could be redone around the chimney and other work around the chimney that would meet the new codes and may eliminate the leak. I expressed he provide an estimate (since the Angies List $49 coupon included a $100 repair credit). He acknowledged and responded he'd review his notes and would email an estimate. I waited about 2 weeks and sent an email follow-up concerning the estimate. No reply - even to this day, no reply. I assumed the work required would be considered a small job and probably not worth it for them. With the $100 repair credit, it may have put their cost below their offset to break even, etc, I don't know but I have never received an estimate. The leak has stopped but I think it was due to a clogged gutter. I felt it was worth the $49 to get a roof evaluation as he provided pointers and answered any questions I had but I would have felt better if I received an estimate so I could ponder the use of the $100 repair credit. The credit hasn't been used.

They did a good job they repaired two gutters they were here maybe 10 mins

We contacted Cochran to assess a water spot on ceiling of our bathroom that was thought to be the cause of a rood leak. Cochran was exceptionally responsive, answering the call right away and having Mark call back to schedule a visit within 2 hours. Mark was able to schedule to come out the same evening to take a look. Mark spent 30 min or so in the attic to identify the cause of the water marks, even though he thought it was most likely not the roof from the beginning. He was able to find the source of the lead -- a general pipe leak. Mark and Cochran were wonderful and didn't even charge for looking at the issue even though no services were rendered. I only wish Mark & Cochran were the plumbers that could fix the problem : ) Can't thank this business enough for their wonderful help and I will absolutely use them for any roofing/exterior needs in the future.

On Tuesday 3/17, I noticed a small 1 inch stain in the ceiling (a spare bedroom). Upon looking in the attic, the stain was located just below a turtle vent. There was no standing moisture on the back of the ceiling and no visible water on the vent or roof. I jumped on Angie's list and called 4 of the best A-rated roofing companies within 10 miles of my home. I started calling shortly after 10:00 am. Two companies did not answer so I left a voice message. The third company I called, a live person answered and said the first available appointment was in two weeks. Cochran Exteriors was my 4th call. Sharon answered and very pleasantly asked a series of common sense questions to better understand the severity of my problem. It was not an emergency but I did want to have someone visit within a few days since I was off work on vacation. Sharon asked to follow-up and either she or one the installers (contractors) would call me within a hour. In less than an hour, I received a call from Mark. He asked if I was available the next morning at 11 am. Of course I was surprised and happy. Mark arrived the next morning shortly before 11 am. He visually inspected the ceiling, vent and roof. We discussed the most probably root cause of the problem. The best immediate solution was to apply caulking to the vent, flange & select few shingles around the vent. In the short-term the expectation is my wife and I will monitor the vent (via the attic area) during future showers / rain in the short term. This may not be the end of the problem but I am very pleased with my initial experience with Cochran Exteriors. I will continue to tell friends and neighbors about my experience.

Cochran Exteriors workers were very prompt and professional. The work I wanted done was completed as agreed. Cochran installed a section of new, wider guttering and downspouts and added a water defector in an area of my roof where I was having a water problem in heavy rains.

They did not find anything out of the ordinary. He was a very nice young man, polite, and clean. He got the inspection done in about 30 minutes. The scheduling was very easy.

I was very impressed with the thorough and expert examination of my house's attic by a charming but businesslike representative. I felt reassured that his comments were appropriate and knowledgeable.

Scheduling was ok for the inspection. He came out and was supposed to send an estimate for the ice dam, but I haven’t received the estimate yet.

George Fitzgerald went above and beyond helping us quickly assess and fix our ice dam issue in less than desirable conditions. Not only did he come out the same day but through freezing rain he worked for over 2 hours helping us fix the problem of water backup into our interior house. He was very thorough and professional and explained everything and answered all my questions.

Mixed review. The inspection had to be performed twice. Both times, the person who came was on time and courteous, however for some reason, the first person did not follow through with the report promised, so I contacted the company find out what happened, and the company decided to start again. The services offered were very limited, and they really had no suggestions for improvement in the end, so basically, the service was a waste of money other than having them tell me how much insulation was there now. Communication was mainly through emails, but it took over a month after the initial visit to actually get the evaluation I bought

It was OK. Scheduling was really easy. They came out and it went well. They were very professional and they were very good.

It took them a while to actually come out and complete the work, but they seem to have done a good job. Furthermore, they showed on time, and they showed me photos of the repairs that they made which I appreciated.

They showed up on time and were very professional. They did excellent work on everything that needed to be done. I had one part of a shingle missing and they came back a couple of days later with an exact match and replaced it.

It went extremely well. They were on top of everything. As soon as the weather allowed them, they got the work done.

Arrived on time and did a very thorough & efficient inspection. Gave me a detailed oral report & answered all questions patiently, pointing out several places on the roof to illustrate the problems. I was impressed and hope to have the company replace my roof in the spring.

Last year we had the problem with ice build up on the roof. Angie's List had a special for a checkup so I thought I would have them come out and check the insulation in the attic to make sure it was okay because of that problem. He was very friendly and professional.

Kept putting me off. Not able to schedule. I want a refund.

It took a while for the job to be completed and it wasn’t managed well, but they did honor what was in the deal. It took nine months to complete the job due to weather and scheduling. The company is very honest, but the subs don’t do a good a job and they don’t manager their work. Scheduling was good and they were very good at client interaction, I just wish they’d manage the subs more.

I was neutral on it. They came out within a week. I am a bit wary to make a broad comment on the company but to the deal I honestly found it just slightly misleading or maybe sneaky for lack of a better word. It was something I paid for that I could have called a dozen other roofers to come out and give me a quote on putting a new roof on my house. They certainly did that as part of their package. They identified items that could be repaired. They came out did an assessment. They provided pictures. They provided me with a quote for a new roof. All a that was great. They also provide a quote to do extensive repairs throughout the property of the roof. What I will say though is that I had one leak in one particular room. They looked at that. They identified it. They said I had some loose shingles up there, the shingles needed to be replaced. That particular part was not quoted. I basically had an option of doing multi-thousand dollar roof replacement, A three thousand dollar roof repair but the small little job that I was talking about with the leak, that wasn't itemized out. The only way I was going to get that one done was if I was going to do a three thousand dollar roof repair of the whole roof. I could have just called somebody outside of the big deal and said I need that roof leak fixed and they would have climbed up there. They would have put some shingles on and said OK sir that would be $200 or whatever the case may be, which I would have been totally fine with. I felt like their energy revolved around making their big deal not the big deal that we had purchased but the big deal of putting on a new roof on there. I wont call it blatant switch because they did not high pressure us cause they didn't but it made me Leary about purchasing big deals in the future because I'm like this is a sales gimmicks for them they just want to come out and sell me a new roof and made no real effort to do any repairs whatsoever just sell a new roof.

He took pictures of the damage and contacted my insurance company. He was there with the insurance adjuster to make sure they agreed with the damage he saw. As a result, my roof and Gutter Helmets were replaced. My next door neighbor was having issues with his roof so I had him talk to my neighbor and he had hail damage as well. I was given a credit for $100 for the referral. They did a great job and I would call them for any problems that come up in the future.

The deal was very effective. The gentleman did a very thorough inspection, was very knowledgeable, and did a good job with the repairs that he made.
