Bone Dry Roofing

From the first visit to issue a quote down to the last visit to perform a minor painting touch up, the team at Bone Dry Roofing was top notch. The team was extremely professional. Greg, the supervisor checked in with me several times over the 2 day job and ultimate follow up. The team arrived on time both days as well as the gentleman who performed the final touch up. The team was extremely clean and the clean up after such a large job was great. They did a thorough job looking for nails in order to avoid my dogs stepping on anything or getting one in my tire. In my eyes, Bone Dry was top notch!

Our roof was damaged by a storm awhile back. I noticed many of our neighbors were getting new roofs and ?storm chasers? seemed to be knocking on everyone?s door. I checked Angie?s List and found two high rated roofers, Bone Dry and someone else. I decided to call both Bone Dry and the that other company. A person from that other company came out first. He climbed on the roof, looked around and then said my roof had damage. He said to call my insurance first and then call him back out (I didn?t, see below). I met with Tyler from Bone Dry later that same day. He informed me that the roof had damage and explained to me the cause, showed me some of the damaged areas, what could happen if left unrepaired and explained to me the details of the repair process. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He even offered to meet with the insurance claims person and me when I did decide to file a claim. Tyler then met with me and the insurance person a few days later. Once the insurance person completed his walk around and provided me the details of the damage, Tyler started writing up a quote for me. He informed me on the different options, 3-tab vs dimensional, the warranty, their hand nailed process, gutter options, and other areas of concern. Bone Dry had been so helpful and friendly we decided to have them perform the work. I also want to mention that during the entire process from quote to install, the Bone Dry team was very responsive and in constant communication with me. They answered all my questions and addressed any issues I had. They even let me know of a price increase that I was able to avoid by re-scheduling. On the day of the install, I watched the entire process from tear off to finish. The process that I witnessed must have been what it was like to see Henry Ford?s first mass production assembly line for the first time. As soon as the crew arrived, they were constantly in motion. They immediately started protecting my windows, landscaping, patio, and yard with tarps and plywood. Like a well-oiled machine, they were on the roof in minutes after everything was in place on the ground. They had guys tearing off the old roof while other guys kept trash moving and still more guys were staging for the new roof install. You could tell they had a plan and executed it well. No one was idle. They worked at a good place, but not too fast as to be sloppy. They even had an elevator type device to hoist the shingle bundles up to the people working on the roof. They kept the install process moving. There were also guys constantly keeping supplies ready for the others who were hand driving the nails. I had a new roof in less than a day! This was the first time I had ever seen anyone hand nail a roof! I think they were more accurate than and as fast as a person with a nail gun! After the install was complete, Tim (their quality control person) stopped by and inspected the roof and clean up. He approved and so did I. There is only thing I would suggest to them to change. If a person is getting new gutters within a few days and no rain is in the forecast, it would be better if they remove the old gutters when they remove the old roof. This would avoid damage to the new roof and new gutter aprons when new gutters get installed, like I experienced. The roof looks great! I am so happy we chose Bone Dry. We will be calling them for all our future roofing needs!

Called Bone Dry Friday and requested appt. to get estimate to have repairs done for an area where shingles had blown off. They came first thing Monday morning, gave me an estimate and were back the next day to do repairs.

They were very professional, priced reasonably well and handled the extra add-ons that we found without killing me on price. They did a fine job, protected the many plantings I have around the house as good as I could have expected and did a very good job of clean up, which after taking off two layers of shingles and dozens of sheets of plywood wasn't easy. Roof looks great and if we ever have any rain I will be able to certify that. Nice guys, responsive and professional.

Bone Dry did an excellent job from start to finish. Their estimate was within dollars of my insurance adjusters estimate. During the re-roofing Bone Dry had a very experienced crew work on my roof. I have a large roof so I had a very big crew on the roof. I watched as the crew lead surpervised his roofers, and the project supervisor checked out the roof and finally a second supervisor of the project surpervisor came to the house before it was finished to check all the work. Wow. During the re-roofing Bone Dry protected my flowers and bushes and continually cleaned up all the debris that was coming off the roof. When they left, not a scrape was left on the ground. The staff was friendly and answered all my questions. I would use them again and I recommend them highly.

The crew that performed the work did so as a team and everyone knew what he needed to do.. I would recommend them to all my family and friends..

We got a deal from Angie’s List for the dry wall repair. We had 2 different spots that needed to be repaired and both of them fit in 4 hours worth of dry wall repair which was worth $400 and we got it for $150. So we used that and both repairs got covered. They’re reliable and they go above and beyond and are friendly. We moved in just recently so my step mom had to be there for a certain time till they were here so they were a bit late.

Bone Dry came to inspect the job and give an estimate. The gentleman who showed up was very professional and knowledgeable. He saw that there was a need for a few different specialists and we got estimates from two more sub-contractors. Each estimate was well done. We scheduled some work and the job was done quickly and efficiently.A first rate company.

They were good. They were on time and did the job so I can’t complain. The roof looks good. Their price was a little high but they do good work. They gave me an estimate and stuck to it. I had them quote me on a chimney repair and they quoted a lot higher than what I wanted to pay, so I am going to use somebody else for that. The quality of service was good.

We called, they scheduled an appointment, and provided a quotation on the spot. They went through the details of the quotation and the various options that were available for the shingles and other aspects of the project. We awarded the job and scheduled. We were given a start date a couple days later. Company representatives communicated with us during the entire process. They called us on the day of the install and told when they were going to arrive to get started. A crew of about 10 arrived and promptly began working on the house. The supervsor was friendly and informative. They arrived about 8 am and finished around 3 pm which was fantastic. Overall the experience was easy, done in a professional manner, and relatively painless. They were competitively priced and overall did a nice job from start to finish.

I decided to select them for my roofing needs as they had an A rating on Angie’s list.

I had some wind damage from storms so I called Bone Dry in March to replace 2 shingles that had blown off my roof. Bob Pace came out to do the inital quote. He was very nice and professional. He also checked out the garage in the attic for the insulation level which he stated was fine. The quote was 225.00 for the roof which is the std repair amount for up to 10 shingles. I agreed and they showed up that Friday to do the work. They were quick and left no mess whatsoever in the yard. I had fogotten to mention my Angie's List coupon but upon receving the bill from Julie Fuller, she promptly adjusted it and allowed me to submit it via email (she was very nice!). I like this company and would definitely use them again.

Do let them know you have a coupon, they took the amount right off the top.

They were very professional and very prompt. They were very knowledgeable. They were a little bit lesser priced compared to another quote I got.

They were very punctual and got the work done right away. It was easy for them to come and give me the estimate. I knew exactly what it was going to cost before I agreed to anything. They set up a date for the work and it rained which delayed them but beyond that they were right here to do the work. I would use them again.

After tearing off the roof they showed me some decking that need to be replaced.? Overall I was very satisfied the process.

Arrived spot on time, did a super job, p;astered the areas that needed , and touched up several areas where I had done a truly amateurish job. Covered the floor, did a super clean up job outstanding service from a real professional, and a very friendly and helpful attitude.

They are very reliable. Their quotes are very reasonable. I rate them very highly.

I am going to schedule them to come out and fix the leaks that I have.

A friend and contractor that I had used for several other miscellaneous jobs called them to do the roofing job with him as the contractor. They completed the job in a short period of time, consulting him on what his thoughts were the whole time. It was pretty expensive, but there was a lot done. This is a situation where you are required to pay for good work, which it certainly was.

I found them on Angie's List. I would recommend them to other people. The roofing repair was very minimal. The first guy who came out to inspect it couldn't figure what was wrong. He referred me to his boss, who through lack of communication, didn't come out for a couple of weeks. When he did come out, he found what he thought was the problem and repaired it for free. All I had to pay for was the interior damage. They called me a week or so afterwards, and asked me if I was satisfied, and if I thought they did the job I felt that they should have done. I would use this provider again.

The project went well. The workers came on the appointed day, on time and completed the work in the course of a morning.

I requested that Bone Dry inspect my roof to determine if there was hail damage from the storm on 3/2/12. They arrived at the scheduled time and inspected the roof. Chad determined that we did not need a new roof and suggested that we not file a claim. I was very pleased with the candidness and honesty of Chad from Bone Dry. There was no charge for the inspection. Will use them when I eventually need a new roof.
