Bone Dry Roofing

We had hail storm damage from the storm in September 2013. Bone Dry Roofing worked with our insurance company and us to get all of the documentation required for all parties. They also worked with us on deductible and out of pocket costs. When necessary, they talked directly to the insurance adjuster. The work was completed in a satisfactory manner. We were able to communicate with our company representative at any time we needed to. Tyler Hergott was our territory manager and was good at returning phone calls and communication.

They showed up on the scheduled morning with the proper equipment and all the right parts. It took them about an hour and a half to complete the job. They were friendly and professional. They cleaned up after themselves.

This has probably been 2 years ago because our roof was leaking and he told us, he said "There is nothing wrong with your roof. You just have leaves that are on your chimney and because of the snow it had backed up". He didn't even charge me for coming. That indicates to me at least that he is very concerned about just doing the right thing.

We had significant hail this fall after a storm, but we saw now issues with our roof. Several neighbors were getting new roofs and one company gave us a free evaluation. The other company said we probably had enough damage for a new roof. We consulted Bone Dry for an estimate, and their honest opinion was that our roof was a quality roof that held up despite the hail and that as much as they would love to do our roof, we did not indeed need a roof. The gentleman that came out gave us some suggestions on upkeep of the roof, and was very helpful. We did not use them obviously as there was not need, but we will definately consider them in the future if there is a need.

We discovered a leak in our attic along the intereior fireplace wall and called Bone Dry to diagnose the problem. The initial diagnosis was a problem with masonry on the exterior of the fireplace outside. But Bone Dry's masonry expert (Tony) took a careful look and indicated it was flashing around the base of the fireplace that had come loose. I asked for an expedited service date from Bone Dry given the potential for further warm weather and leaking in our attic. They scheduled a date two days later on a Saturday and fixed the flashing.

The estimate for my roof was done. And then nothing. When I called three weeks later to make sure I was on schedule to start they told me I needed to return the paperwork so I could be scheduled. Apparently the gentleman that came out and did the estimate and got my approval for the work left my paperwork and never turned it in. I received an apology on my voicemail. Then I called to see once again when I would be scheduled for roof replacement and was told they were still waiting on State Farm to approve the numbers. I informed them they would be waiting quite a while as my insurance was Allstate and I had received a call a week prior stating there approval. It was just one of a number of errors in communication that happened to the point where I just said forget it..

Our roof was literally slowly sliding off our home. We haven't lived there more than a year, and clearly the roof issues were missed in the inspection. We called bone dry to come out and give us an estimate they came very quickly, and saw the issues we were having. They adjusted their schedule to come out and fix our issues. We were very thankful they saw how urgently we needed the work done and got out to do it very quickly. As far as we can tell the work is good, and we are no longer having the same issues. However, I wrote a check for our services the day they were completed. The check cleared the day after the service was done. We then received an invoice about two weeks later. I ignored the invoice as I knew we had already paid. About another week later we received another invoice. I called and was transferred to someone's voicemail. I left a voicemail. No one ever called me back. Yet they continued to call my husband (who has a very demanding job and had no time to deal with this). I called back several times to not be able to reach anyone. Finally my husband sent them email with a picture of the bank copy of the check to prove they had cashed it. No one ever called us back or responded to the email. This was a huge hassle for any busy working family to deal with. I was unhappy with the way we were treated throughout the process, and we will not use bone dry for any future needs we have. Although I can't complain about the work that was done, their bad admin processes shouldn't impact their customers. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone that wants to be done with a repair the second the job is done.

We were really impressed with Bone Dry Roofing, they did a super job. We had a very good experience. They were very professional. I liked their appearance. I liked their honesty and their ability to give us the information without confusing us. It was very clear.

The overall experience was very positive. The crew provided a very honest assessment of the condition of my roof, and then were able to quickly perform the needed maintenance. I would definitely work with them again.

Bone Dry came and underbid the insurance estimate. We decided to accept Bone Dry's bid. They told us they would come on Dec. 7, The weather was too bad on that Friday. They did the entire reroofing job on Dec. 10, 2012. They cleaned out the gutters. We paid them what the insurance company had paid us to that point. We faxed in proof of payment with their completion certificate, and we were sent the remainder by the insurance. We add onto our check our part. Bone Dry brought and installed new gutter guards. Bone Dry lowered our bill because we used an Angie's List coupon. We were totally satisfied.

These guys were professional and great to work with - definitely recommend them. We also used them for a leak in our roof about a year ago. We got their contact details when we posted a request for a roofing company on our community facebook page. About 6 people posted recommendations for them.

I really liked their service. They were very good, cleaned up well, and kept their price. They performed high quality work.

They completed the contract as promised. There were a couple of rescheduling issues, only due to their excess amount of work after all the fall storms. I would use them in the future. I was referred by a friend and backed up with Angie's List.

Bone Dry was extremely responsive and helpful. It was New Years Day so it was an expensive 30 minutes of work but they told me up front. They also recommended a permanent solution and I will likely use them in the future to make this repair.

The estimate process was painless and quick. The sales person, from the local area, was prompt and helpful. Their bid was not the lowest, but it was backed by the best warranty and professionalism. They arrived on the planned day around 8 a.m. and were done by about 2 p.m. Everything went smoothly. The job supervisor did not do a good job of the final inspection/walk-through, but I think that's because he thought his sales person had done it already. Make sure to ask for the official inspection.

Did not have work done; it was not needed

It took longer than expected. Towards the end of the project, I feel they rushed the work. They were not very careful with the gutters and kind of bent them. I am still working with them to get it resolved.

Bone dry has always been punctual and professional as well as giving honest recommendations of the work necessary to our roof. We continue to use them because of the quality of the work they perform. They may not be the cheapest for roof repairs but I've never needed to have their work redone.

It took them a while to come out because do to the weather.
