BICYCLE HOSPITAL

I'd grade them A. I guess I will use them again in the future.

It went great as usual. They have great service and are very knowledgeable. They were recommended to us by a friend and we will continue to use them from here on out.

I would be using the Bicycle Hospital for all of my biking needs if I lived closer.  I was visiting Indianapolis and needed a bicycle for my granddaughter.  The Bicycle Hospital offers great used bicycles for young bikers.  Don't want to spend a lot for a bicycle that your child will soon outgrow?  Visit the Bicycle Hospital.  We found an attractive 20" used bike for $45.  Besides being affordable, you have every assurance that the bicycle was serviced well and will be safe for your child to ride.  The owner and other workers in the store were very accommodating and eager to match bike to rider.  They made the necessary adjustments in seat heighth and kickstand flexibility and attached the bell we purchased.  The shop offers lots of bicycle accessories.  This provider has been in business for many years and is very a reliable, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced resource for new and used bicycle purchases and repairs.

I hadn't used my bicycle in quite a long time, so it really needed work. Bicycle Hospital replaced the tires and did a tuneup to bring it back to excellent condition.

It went great. I love going in here because the staff is so friendly and the woman knew me by name. I have only been in twice! I went to another place in Fountain Square and they quoted me $25 to repair it and gave me grief about it, saying I should just buy a whole new wheel for $40. I went to the Bicycle Hospital and no questions asked, they fixed it, for $8 less. Great people, great service.

As in any current industry, progress continues to make changes. I may wear a GPS receiver on my wrist, but the bicycle I have been having serviced by Charles Squires and his team, is well over 40 years old. I have worn through many sets of tires over the years, many bought at the Bicycle Hospital, and had a set or two of bearings replaced at different points, all of which gave reasonable and economical service. Plan to keep going back as long as I keep going.

We dropped off two some bikes we hadn't used in a long time. The Bicycle Hospital fixed one of the brake calipers with an unorthodox but apparently effective technique (a fix that lasts for years, according to the gentleman who helped me) instead of charging me to replace it. Oiled every spoke where it joins the rim, even if they didn't need to be turned ("so that we *can* turn them when they eventually *do* need it", he said). All for $35 per bike. I also got some useful information on correctly operating quick-release wheels and resetting the brake calipers.

THIS GUY DOES SOLID WORK BUT IS A BIT SCATTERBRAINED; HAD TO CALL HIM A COUPLE TIMES TO CHECK IF WORK WAS DONE.
