The technician was awesome and very thorough. He performed routine maintenance on the air conditioner as well as fixed something the last service company who checked it must have done (it was stuck in test mode and not working). I was so pleased to have it work without a costly repair.

The only reason I gave a 4 on punctuality was that he ran late on the prior call, pushing my appointment beyond the original window. The company did call to let me know. The tuneup was quick and another problem was solved. As a bonus, now I know for sure which side is up when changing the filter.

Everything went well. No issues to report.

My purchase was for 15 feet of air duct cleaning ($33), not realizing my dryer vent duct was about 40 feet. (duh) No big deal, though. I got the dryer vent cleaned out (there was a huge birds nest inside), and also had (upon suggestion) my a/c vents (intake/output) cleaned out as well. I was shown the before and after .. pretty nasty. I have pets, and so did the people who owned the house before me, and I doubt the ductwork had EVER been cleaned, by the looks of it. I paid $33 initially (15' of cleaning), and $160 for the whole house. Totally worth it. I was not pressured to buy at any time. Great group of guys I would recommend again and again. I'm very happy with my purchase and expense.

I asked about the install schedule and was advised it would be Tues after the holiday weekend. I asked to be put on a waiting list in the event of a cancelation. He agreed to request that for us. Thirty minutes after he left the same tech called me and said he'd worked it out to come the following morning (Saturday) and do the installation. That was impressive and a welcome option as we were expecting guests for the weekend and high temps were predicted. The price was comparable.. if not better for the Trane system we received and the service.. better than expected.

Per usual when dealing with Mark IV it went great! Their attention to detail and customer service is top notch. They have done several large HVAC projects for me in the past and are my go to for such service. Hire them and you wont regret it.

I bought the big deal for $49 AC tune up and they ended up charging me $500 for some pounds of free on or what ever they put in the AC. They said it might be a leak, but made no effort (to my knowledge) to fix any leaks. Condo was ice cold when they left, not so much now.

Went great. The 2 gents that came out were knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. They also let me know that my electrical needed to be updated running from the box to the new heater. Offered to do it for an addtioan price (which was the running price for the type of electrical). Would have had them do it on the spot but I wanted to research it a bit more myself to see if it was something I was capable of.

Christian was the tech that did the work for us. He answered all of my questions and was very informative and honest. He replaced our old humidifier and explained why it wasn't working well (too small and was a bypass). He replaced ours with the one that was on special. He was very polite and professional. He even helped me out with some recommendations on other things we might need in our future, even though he did not service those items. The humidity in our house is beyond comfortable now. It was the best investment we made. I joined Angie's List bc I heard about this offer through friends on facebook and few other people scheduled appointments based off our the testimony to the company and product.

They came out to assess where they were going to install humidifier, but it was not feasible. They explained everything and went over other options. I've use them in the past and they are always polite.

They were unable to put the humidifier in due to the setup of my HVAC system. I really appreciate that he didn't try to sell me something that wouldn't work without spending a lot of money.

Excellent. Heater was plugged with lime and he worked at least 2 hours to open the line and drain the heater.

It was not good. I probably won't use them again. We had them out because we kept hearing this noise from our furnace and wanted somebody to have it inspected. They said they couldn't find anything. They didn't know what was causing it, that we needed a new filter for our furnace and caused us an additional $35 for a filter for the humidifier. My husband ended up finding out what the problem was. I just don't think they checked it out very good because they kept telling they couldn't find anything. My husband ended up finding what it was and fixing it himself. My husband doesn't even have anything to do with heating and cooling. I think I shouldn't pay $35 for a filter for the humidifier. Their responsiveness was not very good. They couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. They were here when they said. They should know what they are doing, that they are professional.

Mark IV sent Steve Backmeyer to my residence. This professional had more than 20 years of experience. He was very timely and efficient. Steve was friendly-he flushed my water heater but also gave me some advice on filters for my furnace. He even changed the filter for me. I'm a new home owner and really appreciated his patience and all the questions he answered for me. I would definitely use this company again and would highly recommend them.

The technician was friendly and professional. Since I will be putting my house on the market soon, he gave me some helpful advice relating to the furnace. I was very pleased with his work and would use this company's services again.

About 8pm we contacted Mark IV's after hours number. We received a call back with in 5 minutes and a service tech arrived with in 45 minutes. He made temporary repairs and got the unit working. He also informed us that the unit was over 30 years old, that the heat exchanger was rusted and he did not trust the unit to be completely safe. We agreed to replace the unit and the did so the next morning. From the first call we had a tech on the scene with in 45 minutes and the unit replaced with a new TRANE unit all with in 18 hours of the first call. The service tech (Tim) was fast, friendly and well trained. Based on his experience and knowledge we were able to make an informed decision. You rarely find this kind of service today. I would recommend Mark IV Environmental Systems to anyone needing HVAC service. A++

Unfortunately I wasn't there when the work got done. Basically, I just had my furnace replaced just because it started not working but there's always that thing at the back of my mind that was like, 'did they do something?' But I don't know if they did and I wouldn't have any proof if they did. I guess they did good. I'm just really skeptical like when things work perfectly fine and I'd never had it checked out so it could just be coincidence. I'm not going to hold that against them. They found a couple of things with the furnace that they said were not in code so we had them do some additional work. When I got my furnace replaced, they said that what they had done wasn't really against code, just someone's preference. I haven't done any investigation to see who is right. I think they were on time.

Our technician was Christian Collette, and he was great! He was one of the best servicemen I've ever had inside my home. We got an Angie's List Big Deal so the price was set in stone; I don't know how the prices would be if after the inspection he determined that we required additional services. He was on time, and after arriving took his time, was thorough and informative, explaining all the things he was going to do and what he'd require of me. The heater safety inspection was a nice bonus that I didn't realize was part of the Big Deal, and after I mentioned that my husband was going to change the filter the next day (it had been about two months), Christian offered to do it for us if we already had the filters. We did, and it took something off my husband's honey-do list, so he was happy :-). Afterwards, I asked Christian about whole house humidifiers and he took the time to let me know about their maintenance and what kind we'd need to get. I had a great experience with Mark IV's technician and will probably use them in the future for my water heater flushes and HVAC services.

Service provider was contacted as a result of an offer on Angie's List. Checked to make sure common scheduling was available, and purchased the offer via Angie's List to utilize their services. Only downside for using this service provider is that they didn't have a Saturday slot available (may not have them at all), but they were able to work within the time frames chosen once I had to pick a week day. Showed up in the time frame expected, notified me that the exact setup we'd discussed wouldn't work, but that they had the other items on the truck to adjust and install a different type (same price) that would work. Got everything set up and installed, he said it might take up to 3 hours, and actually came in under that deadline. Walked through everything, made sure we were well informed about what needed to be done. Everything appears to be working currently, will update review if for some reason this is not correct.

The technician found that something wasn't working properly, and asked to see the thermostat to check something. Only AFTER the check did he mention that this was not part of the checkup we had paid for and would cost an additional $79. Very unprofessional behavior, and not the kind of treatment that will lead to getting repeat business from a new potential customer.

Purchased deal via Angie's List. Mark IV was punctual, and took the time to consult with me on an awkward placement issue due to the positioning of the duct work prior to installation. I'm happy with their work and communication. Won't hesitate to use Mark IV again.
