The project went well. They did an outstanding job and worked within the parameters that the job was set up for. Cost wise it went well and we would certainly recommend them to anybody else.

They are superb, hard working, dependable and reliable. They are fantastic to work with. I have worked with them for 40 years and have never got anything from them but first rate service.

I didn't use them as it takes about 6 weeks to schedule them and I wanted someone sooner. I think they are schedule far out is because of their price, responsiveness and reputation.

I came home from vacation and found that a toilet had been leaking and there was fairly extensive damage to my hardwood floor. I called Cox and they happened to be working in my area and was able to come out the same day. He removed the old, damanged and very wet hardwood to allow the area to dry and then scheduled a day with me to come back out to replace the floor. They know hardwood flooring and I would use them again without any hesitation!!

I was worried that with the passing of Arvel Cox that the quality of the work might decline. That was a misplaced worry because the quality of the work done by Cox Hardwood Flooring is as good as ever. (They had previously refinished the floor in our kitchen.) The people were prompt, responsive and a pleasure to work with. I can recommend them without reservation, and I definitely will use them if we refinish any other floors.

They did a good job and we?re satisfied with it. Everything was fine and I don?t really have any complaints. IT looks like they knew what they were doing and they tried to do a good job; there was nothing sloppy or done poorly. They tried to keep everything clean and they covered everything up with plastic so that it wouldn?t get dusty. They were friendly and they were sure to do things well. We spoke on the phone so that I would know what was going to happen so that I knew what to prepare for and they came when they said they would. The only thing that could use improvement is that they could not tell me when it was going to be finished; they had to go in there and see how it would go. I had to move out for a couple of day and never received a phone call but they had already finished; it would have been nice if they had contacted me when they were done.

The experience was excellent and the work was of superior quality for the value. In addition, when removing the floor boards they noticed that the floor was wet and as a result we found a leak with our water. They were kind enough to let us fix that problem before finishing the work. I would not recommend anyone hire anyone other than Arvel and his team. They are great people and did outstanding work. The wood quality is excellent as was the installation.

Very well. The crew did an excellent job with the floor. Our only issue with the work was that residue of the stain used on the floor was left on the bottom of the woodwork. Mr. Cox came out promptly to inspect and agreed to resolve the issue, which he did. Mr. Cox refinished all of the hardwood floors at one of our former residences, and we remembered what a good job his company did with that project. We were pleased to see that after many years, the quality of Mr. Cox's work remains high. Mr. Cox is a real professional, and it has been a pleasure to do business with him and his company.

The initial estimate was provided by Mr. Cox on April 1st. The estimate was within the range of 2 other floors that this company had sanded and finished for us before. A date was set for the work and the two technicians were prompt, diligent in their work and very profesional. We were pleased with the clean up that they performed. We thank Mr. Cox and his people for an excellent job.

The floor is beautiful and looks so much better than we ever imagined. Mark is the crew chief and was courteous, punctual and kept us informed. They cleaned up after themselves and put plastic over the adjacent doorways so that the dust would not get into other parts of the house. We could not be more pleased with the result.

We were more than pleased with the whole process. Mr. Cox gave us an estimate within a few days of our calling for the appointment. Because we are doing an entire home renovation and weren't quite ready for the work to be done, we waited several weeks before calling to schedule the job date. We waited less than a week for the work to start and it was finished in about a one and a half days. The crew was careful to keep the dust contained to the work area and the only thing they left behind were gorgeous hardwood floors! We couldn't be happier with the results.

It went very well. Their crew was extremely professional and the floors turned out great.

It was fine. I just thought that it might have taken a while for him. He is a little bit older. It was nothing against him, but he seemed to have more of an old school style, so it might have taken longer. The estimate he gave was very fair and a little bit less expensive than another company's but he said that with their processes, it would have taken about 3 days to complete the job. He was very punctual, professional and good about communicating. I would maybe use them for some other work, maybe not refinishing, but possibly carpeting on my stairs, which he also does.

As part of their process, they used a chemical on it that reacted quickly in certain areas of the floor. Now I have uneven color on the floor. In some spots, I can see down to the bare wood. In some areas, the chemical caused the color to completely come off. The floor now needed to be refinished again. They would not do that. They decided to not come out to see what they had done, but they made me not have to pay for the buffing and the top coat. They should have refinished the floor for free. I will not do any more business with them.

The estimate, work and follow visit were done very professionally and with high quality. It seemed like a very good price and we awere very satisfied with the results.

They were good. The guy was prompt and friendly. His price was extremely competitive. I had to work a little harder for him to provide me with information on procedures than I had to on the other companies but it's obvious that he knows what he's doing and has a lot of experience.
