Catton Dentistry is a family dental practice with 2 locations; this office on the north side of Carmel near 146th and Keystone, and the original office in the Meridian Kessler area of Indianapolis. Dr. Mark Catton has practiced dentistry in Indianapolis since 1983, and his son, Dr. Nicholas Catton, joined him in practice in 2014. 1.38 to 1.40. He’s very friendly and nice to work with. That’s always nice especially with a dentist. I actually don’t see him very often. He comes in, looks at my teeth and then walks away. I don’t ever have anything done. I just like him and I like going there. I’ve referred my children and grandchildren to him. Everybody goes to him. My entire family goes to him. The service is good and we like it. It’s friendly and nice. It’s convenient and pleasant as well.

I have been with him for years. He took over Dr. Howard probably twenty years ago and I have been with him. I never changed. I highly recommend him. I like his technique and personality. He is just very good. His facilities are very nice. I do not have anything negative about him. He is A++ in my book.

It's always a professional and caring time at Dr Catton's office. The front office staff go out of their way to accommodate my schedule for appointments and any changes I need to make. When I arrive they are on time, and if there is any delay someone is right there to tell me there's a delay and an estimate of how long. But that is rare. His hygienist Is experienced, friendly,funny , quick and thorough. Dr Catton takes a look as well. When he has done major work for me it's the same way, professional, experienced and gentile! He checks frequently to make sure I'm not experiencing any pain. You really could not pay me enough to switch to a different dentist.

He is always on time, gentle, and very reasonably priced. He doesn't push you into anything you don't need. He is very hones. He just does excellent work.

Dr. Catton came highly recommended by Angie herself!! His office is close to our home. We love his receptionist - Rita. She is so personable! Office visits are punctual, thorough and quick. He gives discount for cash payments.

Dr. Catton and the hygienist were extremely thorough and conscientious about my comfort during the cleaning and exam. Excellent experience as usual.

He is in my neighborhood. I like his office and the staff; they are friendly and nice. I really like him too. He does a lot of work with kids who are disabled and so forth.

Staff was pleasant and courteous. Dental Hygienist was very skilled. Didn't feel pushed or pressured into any services. The place is not as fancy as some of the other dental offices. Not sure how cutting edge their technology but they know their business. I was disappointed I didn't get a tongue exam, that seems to be the norm these days. I will ask for one the next time.

Went well....the infection was treated and all was normal at the checkup later. Made recommendations for different toothbrush to prevent the problem from recurring.

He's very personable. I've been going to them for 10 years or so. They always work with my schedule and they are sensitive to my comfort during the appointment. I always get the same hygienist, which is nice.

He is great. He is gentle and reasonable. He doesn't spend all of his money on fancy equipment so I don't get charged for it. He does not hesitate to send me elsewhere if he thinks that it is necessary.

I would tell others that he is knowledgeable and gentle. He takes time to talk to people about whatever the problem is with their teeth. He is just wonderful and I have been going to him for years.

I have seen Dr. Catton twice; once for a cleaning and x-rays and again for more x-rays, TMJ evaluation and impressions. Both times I was seen immediately upon arrival and really appreciate that they honor appointment times. The staff is very friendly and most importantly thorough. Dr. Catton cleaned my teeth himself and while it was apparent my cleaning was overdue it was virtually painless. I have another appointment next week to be fitted for a night guard to help alleviate my jaw pain due to TMJ.

I really love him. I have been going to him since 2000. I was having trouble with my jaw and he diagnosed it a TMJ. He pretty much changed my life by solving the problem for me. He is very friendly and professional. His staff is really friendly. They are kind when they do teeth cleaning. It has never been like other dentist. They are nice about cleaning. I think I got lucky by finding them. They are efficient and friendly. It is a little office.

He is really great and he is always proactive about things. Recently I got a new orthodontic appliance and they were willing to work with me on the cost because my insurance wasn't going to cover anything. He is very flexible. He is a family friend. We've been using him for 25 years since he got out of dental school. They got our daughter in before she got her wisdom teeth pulled and they were able to work around her college schedule. I was very pleased with that. The office is comfortable. They are always on time. He is very friendly.

I have been a patient of Dr. Catton for many years. He is kind, gentle and unhurried. They are not a practice that "up sells". He filled a tooth for me many years ago that didn't look right to him a couple of years later (I was having no symptoms), so he replaced the filling without charge.
Description of Work
I see Dr. Catton and his hygienist, Janet, for twice yearly cleanings. While they offer services such as whitening, and are happy to discuss it, they will never push services onto you, which exemplifies their ethical , low key nature. I recommend Dr. Catton to everyone I know.

We are pretty happy with him and he is a really nice fellow. He does a good job and they are very punctual. They have you in every 6 months for cleaning. He does the x-rays. We are very pleased with the office and the atmosphere there. I would continue to see him in future.
