They were very responsive. They answered all of my questions, promptly scheduled the appointment, and did a thorough job of the installation. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. When I notified them of a minor equipment problem, they returned without any questions to resolve the issue.

I really don't like service calls because I've had a lot of bad experience with contractors who don't know what they are doing, speak down to you, overcharge, or try to sell you something you don't want. This was a most pleasant service call. Jim came out and quickly determined that the problem was of my own making...that I left an internal door ajar which deactivated the system. He also determined that the security contact points at two doors where not activating, and he corrected it. On Guard didn't install my system so Jim had to learn the layout and security parameters and did so very quickly. He refreshed my use of the system and provided a few helpful tips including a suggestion to change the delayed activation times based on our home activities. He had a very good disposition and demonstrated a high level of professionalism while he was explaining things to me. I asked him to comment on the effectiveness of my overall system, and he said it was good. I appreciate that he didn't try to sell me anything that was unnecessary. I quickly developed a high confidence in Jim during the time he was here and would not hesitate to recommend On Guard based on this service call. My previous provider went out of business so I selected On Guard from Angie's List. Given the very good experience, I will be using them going forward.

Technician arrived on time and was very professional. Not only made suggestions for equipment and services provided by On Guard but also made suggestions on how to make my home more secure overall. A quote was provided the same day which clearly detailed work to be performed. Service was excellent, installation was completed on time and technician was very neat and careful when installing sensors and key pads. He also did a great job of explaining how the system worked and made sure I understood how to use. I had to have On Guard back about 2 weeks later due to installing a new service door to the garage. When I called, they sent out a tech within the hour to replace the sensors at no additinal charge. Very pleased with experience. Would definitely recommend to friends and neighbors

The young man who installed it, was on time, very polite, and hardworking. He was patient, and answered all my questions. I appreciated that he kept his good humor despite my little dog barking at him most of the morning! I thought of additional questions about the system later in the afternoon, and the man who answered the phone at OnGuard was very helpful.

It went smoothly without any gliches or problems. We received everything that was guaranteed without any unforseen issues or paying extra.

He came in and asked what my concerns were when he gave the estimate. I can't use motion sensors, because I have a large dog. They also gave me the Angie's List discount. The system covers 19 windows and 3 doors.

It went very well. They gave us an estimate, which was very close to what the price was. They were prompt, very helpful in selecting the system, and good at installing it.

They misdiagnosed what they were able to do and what needed to be done. Estimated cost was $575.

The installer was a young guy named Jimmy. I was very appreciative that he paid close attention to making sure my cat didn't escape while he was installing the alarm. It took him most of the morning. He cleaned up after his work. He was very courteous and explained the system very well. He made recommendations but didn't apply any pressure trying to sell anything. I am very happy with the service.

Very good experience. Technician was very helpful, making an extra trip out to the house to accommodate our work schedules, & did a very neat job installing the system.

They were very easy to set up a time with, coming out within 2 days to install the system. Extremely thorough, and very affordable!

MY INSTALLER'S NAME WAS TOM. HE SHOWED UP EARLY FOR A 7:30AM APPOINTMENT (!) AND SPENT THE NEXT FIVE AND A HALF HOURS INSTALLING THE SYSTEM. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF. THE INSTALLATION TOOK SO LONG BECAUSE THE CPU FOR THE ALARM TURNED OUT TO BE BAD. TOM DOGGEDLY TRACKED DOWN THE PROBLEM AND REPLACED THE WHOLE CPU WITH A NEW ONE. HE EXPLAINED HOW THE ALARM FUNCTIONED CLEARLY, AND IF I HAD NOT BEEN IN A HURRY TO GET TO WORK BECAUSE OF THE TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES I AM SURE HE WOULD HAVE BEEN WILLING TO ANSWER ANY OTHER QUESTIONS I HAD. OF THREE OR FOUR DIFFERENT COMPANIES I CALLED ON ANGIE'S LIST, THIS ONE WAS THE BEST VALUE WITH THE BEST FEEDBACK. I WAS PLEASED TO FIND THAT WHEN I HIRED THEM, I HAD MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE. I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN (AND PROBABLY WILL TO UPGRADE MY SYSTEM). THE MONITORING POLICY ALSO RUNS THROUGH THEM. THEY ARE AFFILIATED WITH A LOCAL MONITORING COMPANY AND HAVE VERY AFFORDABLE RATES, ALTHOUGH A 3 YEAR CONTRACT IS REQUIRED.

JOE WAS VERY RESPONSIVE AND CALLED ME BACK WITH A QUOTE WITHIN 20 MINUTES. THEY ALSO WERE ABLE TO SET UP THE INSTALLATION VERY QUICKLY, AND THE INSTALLER WAS PROMPT AND FRIENDLY. I WAS UNABLE TO BE THERE AT THE COMPLETION OF THE INSTALLATION, SO THE INSTALLER CAME BACK THE NEXT DAY TO SHOW ME HOW TO USE IT. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE THIS COMPANY AGAIN IN THE FUTURE!!

WE WERE PLEASED WITH THE JOB ON GUARD DID FOR US. JOE, THE OWNER WAS PROMPT ABOUT RETURNING OUR CALLS. THEY SHOWED UP WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD, AND THE PRICE WAS COMPETITIVE. THE INSTALLATION WAS COMPETENT, BUT A COUPLE OF DETAILS DIDN'T GET DONE THE WAY WE'D DISCUSSED. OVERALL THOUGH, THE INSTALLERS WORKED HARD, WERE PLEASANT AND WERE WILLING TO REDO ANYTHING WE WEREN'T SATISFIED WITH.

THEY WERE A LITTLE HIGHER THAN SOME OTHERS, BUT I LIKED WHAT I WAS HEARING FROM THEM.

JOE SHEBETICH IS THE OWNER AND HE IS GREAT. HE ANSWERS ALL PHONE CALLS PROMPTLY AND COMES OUT VERY QUICKLY FOR SERVICE CALLS. WORK IS FIRST RATE, REASONABLY PRICED, AND THE VENDOR IS TRUSTWORTHY AND RELIABLE.
