They do good, quality work. They are honest. They know the job and I feel like they are not trying to sell me something.
Description of Work
They did some electrical work because I kept getting a battery that went dead. It turned out that there was a little button that I would bump when I pulled my gas open, and it loosened the back window light that burned out. It was tough to find.

Outstanding!!!!! Better than I could have ever imagined. Tony went above and beyond in communicating and guiding us through the entire insurance claim/repair process. The repair work was impeccable, the entire car was clean when we picked it up. Our car was finished early which we did not expect. Tony is very experienced in this field and was able to repair our car easily and significantly cheaper than other auto body shops. I would never hesitate to return to McCormick Auto Body. Don't waste your time getting other estimates just go directly to Tony at McCormick and he will make sure your repair is done correctly and quickly.

I brought in my car in to have a tire plugged. They patched the tire just fine. But afterwards the service writer crashed my car into another car in their lot. Scrapped the side of it all along another customers car. When I inspected the damage I was told it would rub out. Ha Ha, the guy broke all the bumper clips, removed a good amount of paint and damaged the plastic trim on the wheel well. After rubbing the area excessively he finally conceded and said they would repaint the bumper and that he would let me leave it and walk to work. I was never offered a courtesy car any sort of ride. At no point did anyone ever even apologize. They acted like my asking to have them fix the damage they inflicted on my poor car was quite an inconvenience. I came back to pick up the car that evening and found they had painted the bumper, but they didn't fix any of the damaged clips or plastics. When I pointed out how far from fixed the car was, they were very reluctant to offer to fix it correctly. Not to mention they still had the gall to insist I paid them for the patched tire before I left. Ha Ha, the nerve. I still don't have a car, we're on day two of this mess. All I want is for them to put the car back to the state it was in before they crashed it. I can't explain how disappointed I am. It's very true that when things don't go as planned a person, or companies true character show through. I am saddened at what I have seen from this place. I'll update this post and let you all know how this saga ends. But I am sure I will never give this place my business again and will warn all who will listen about the character of this place and it's employees.

It was several months ago now and I no longer have the car; I don't recall what required repairing, but I have used this shop twice now and find the customer service to be excellent. Prices seem a bit high but i will pay more as a customer when treated well.

I had a problem with the hood of my car not staying closed. I called McCormick Auto and the man I talked to said I could bring it right over and he'd take a look, even though it was a short work day. He took a look at the mechanism and sprayed some oil around it. It didn't work right away so he tried again and it was fixed! Then he was kind enough to give me some good advice to prevent the problem from re-occurring and there was no charge. I was so grateful for this---would definitely recommend this place.

The valve stem/TPMS broke off on one of our tires. I found out that it's an all too common and expensive repair. I called around and got different quotes and after finding McCormick auto on Angies List, called them, too. They were very frank and sympathetic - which surprised me. I brought it in and they discovered another bad TPMS sensor and fixed them both quickly as we were about to head out of town on vacation. While they had the wheels off the car, they noticed that brakes were looking bad and suggested I get a brake job. I explained about our vacation plans and asked if they were safe for the trip and he told me to have fun and call him when we got back. He quoted me about $1200 at that time. Well the vacation came and went and it was time for the brakes to be done, I brought it in and the actually job (including fixing a slow leak in one of the rear tires and and oil change) came in just under half as much as I was prepared to pay. They charged me less! After just recently getting ambushed at the dealership with a huge bill on our other car, I have become very fond of these guys. These men are fair, frank and efficient. I couldn't ask for a better combination in a mechanic. I'm grateful to have found them and will continue to come back as the need to do so arises.

They were quick to answer the phone, and provided competent and engaging service. They were also able to fit us in (it's first come, first serve) right away, which was good. The car was done early, and came back to us clean and healthy. I'll definitely use them again.

My son's car had been handling poorly and making strange sounds. When we took it the shop, we learned that the emergency brake had frozen on, which then locked up and ruined the back brakes. They gave us an estimate and had the car repaired quickly. It is driving much better now. We originally found McCormick on Angie's List several years ago, and have used them on 5 different cars many times over the past several years. Previous to this trip, they made a significant repair on my daughter's car in December. That repair came in at approximately $800, $200 less than the estimate. They have always been courteous, friendly, and professional. They have occasionally thrown in minor extra services at no charge and have been willing to discuss possible diagnoses and let us know when something is a necessary repair or something that can wait or be lived with. We get honest service at a reasonable cost, which is always significantly lower than the dealership price and some other independent garages. I am glad that we have a place to go where we can trust the work and the price. This is our forever garage. Highly recommended.

My car would shudder when braking at high speeds so I wanted McCormick to check that out. They told me the rotors were causing the problem and replaced them. While moving the car to their lot, they noticed one brake light was out and replaced it as well. They also gave me a labor discount due to my Angies List membership. This is my second time at McCormick and both experiences have been professional, timely and less expensive than the cost suggested by my car dealer.

A very pleasant surprise. I have gone to another shop for years, in part because although they were expensive, I trusted them and feared going some place new. The repair prices I was quoted at my prior shop were in the 900 range. I brought it here based on Angie's list to get a second opinion and a quote. First, they told me only the inner and not the outer tie rods needed to be replaced. That was a major savings. I have waited 1.5 months to write the review to be sure the work has been sustained and it has. Also, the alighment and the oil pressure switch were straight up less expensive than at my prior mechanic. Add in the location and Sunday hours and I was very impressed.

Work took a little longer than estimated, but was done well. I contacted them after a later fednder bender, less damage, for an estimate, but another provider was cheaper, so I did not use McCormick for that work.

My roadside service changed my tire and i needed to buy a new tire a day later. I dropped off the flat and returned when i had time to have the spare taken off and replaced with a new tire. all this was done most expeditiously and courteously. And that's the treatment i get every time i take my care in for service. I saw their commendation from angie's list on their wall and want to make sure i add my comments. it's so great to have a car care place to go to with confidence.

They are real good. The car window kept falling in the winter and so we went there and they were able to repair the window. They are reasonable and they are very dependable, I like that. They will call you with an estimate when they are supposed to - I like that. And when they say they are going to do something, they do it; you don't have to keep chasing them. Even if it costs a lot, at least you should know what you are off to get. The quality of their service was real good. The only thing I don't like is that they are not open on Saturdays, but I understand because they are Jewish. But they are open on Sundays. I understand that and respect that because that is for religious beliefs.
