Description of Work: Unfortunately, we could not get a permit from our town to build the fence planned. According to the town's zoning, our back yard, where we planned to install the fence, is legally our front yard, and Skokie does not permit front yard fences.

Description of Work: Salesman took yard measurements and had a brochure of fence styles. Later that day I called back to change the height of the fence from 6' to 5' for the bid. He sent me a bid that was hand written and very high in price. A day or so later, he called to say he made a mistake, but he did not seem to know that I had called twice, leaving voice mail, to change the order, and to tell him my neighbor wanted a bid so I would not need fencing on one side. He then submitted the same hand-written bid with a bid for the 5' fence written on the other side of the page. He never came back with the bid for the actual length of fencing I needed.

I talked to my sales representative and to be honest he really doesn't remember the situation. From reading your review its sounds like you changed your mind a bunch of times and weren't sure on what you wanted to do and also didn't communicate with your neighbor ahead of time. We always try to provide the best estimate for what our potential clients want. Maybe there was a lack of communication because he always returns every voicemail and possibly didn't get yours. Anyway good luck with your yard and we hope you get what you want.
