Visiting Angels provides non-medical care. We are an alternative for individuals in need who wish to remain in their home. We care about a person’s needs and offer experienced caregivers who are compassionate; helpful; patient; dependable and trustworthy. We are a part of a network of 480 Visiting Angels homecare offices, individually owned and managed. Our Caregivers Have/Are:  Minimum 2 Years of Experience  Interviewed at Least Twice with our Management  Attended an Orientation Session  Studied & Tested 8 Required Training Sessions Annually  TB Screened  Bonded  The Ability to Speak English and a Selection of Other Languages  US citizenship or carry valid working documents  A valid driver’s license  Their own car to drive to and from their assignment  Are required to wear scrubs and their company-issued name badge  Our employees. We are compliant with all state and federal laws & withholdings Our Extensive Caregiver Background Checks Include:  3 Past Job References  3 Personal References  County Criminal Records: Where most criminal cases are conducted & viewed. The core of the criminal record check. Searches for the past 7 years.  Discovery Criminal Record: This search reviews over 140 million records from 36 states including the state, county & Department of Correction records.  Motor Vehicle Driving Records (MVR): Driving a client’s vehicle or their own vehicle while care giving, it is essential to know the caregiver’s driving history.  Healthcare Workers Registry: Checked caregivers who hold a CNA certificate.  National Sex Offender Registry: Registered offenders living in your area.  Random Drug & Alcohol Tests for All Applicants to Screen Out Offenders  Fingerprinting By IDPH Providers using the Illinois State Police Criminal Records Visiting Angels:  Carries a 3 Million Dollar Liability Insurance Policy to Protect You  Licensed as a Home Service Agency, Department of Public Health, State of Illinois  HIPAA Compliant Our qualifications & screenings are second to none. Please let me know when you are ready for our staff to visit your home and make an assessment of your needs. Our rates are very competitive and range from $12 to $35 an hour with a 12 hour minimum per week (3 – 4 hour increments).
