Half of my gutter was hanging off of my house due to wind damage. Chris, the owner, was very easy to communicate with via email. He checked out the problem, got back to me within a day or two with a quote, and sent someone out to replace my gutter a few days after that.

I had some leaking vent stack boots on my roof so I called around and decided on K G Roofing. Chris returned my call promptly and after hearing the problem, he gave me a couple options and an estimate over the phone. He was able to come out right away and he even showed up a little early. He got right to work and was clean and careful. I heard stories of roofers flinging debris off the roof and failing to clean up after themselves, but Chris kept the flashing trimmings and shingle trimmings in a pile and he even went back to pick a loose nail out of the gutter. He also did a visual inspection of my roof after the work was done and he fixed some flashing that was coming loose around my chimney. He did the job as if it was his own house. I'll definitely use KG Roofing in the future and would gladly recommend Chris Gal.

He didn't try to sell me a new roof that it need soon gave me a fair price. Him and his crew fixed the spot then he checked the rest of the roof fixing a couple of small spots that he didn't charge extra for. They came when promised and did the work cleanly.

Chris and his crew did a great job from start to finish. The job was completed in two days. They were able to start the job a week after we signed the contract. Every aspect of the job was done professionally.

I initially contacted KG (and others) for quote in June. I had 4 quotes from local companies and KG's beat every quote by at least 20%. I delayed the work until Fall, but as soon as I called Chris he set-up the job and was there within 2 weeks. His hard-working team did a quality job using name-brand product and paid attention to every detail. KG Roofing & Construction is a good company and Chris is a good man...personable and easy to work with. I would highly recommend. I recommended to my neighbor and he will use KG Roofing this Spring.

I chose K&G Roofing because of the number of positive ratings on Angie's List. I explained to Chris what the situation was with the porch roof. The roof is 23'X12'. Chris gave me a reasonable estimate and I contracted him to do the job. Chris had to wait for warm weather to install the system that had some sort of adhesive that sealed itself to the roof. He called the day before he was to start and arrived early. They removed shinges, replaced 3 sheets of plywood, installed the roof and cleaned up all in about 3 hours! They were professional and and friendly. When it is time to replace my roof next year, I will use them to do that.

Looked at Angie's list reviews & location before I contacted K&G Roofing. Talked to Chris in the morning; he said he would be able to come out that afternoon. Called @11:00 and was here 45 minutes later. Chris saw the water spot on the ceiling and asked if a bathroom was nearby (yes). Went up on roof (asked me if I wanted to go up, too, I declined); he took digital photos of cracks around pipe collar,came down and showed me photos. It started to rain and he waited a little while; rain eazed up,but didn't stop. He went back up, though,& sealed the pipe collars,exhaust fans and vents. He walked around entire roof to see if there were any other areas. We discussed the cracked shingles he saw. Really liked seeing those digital photos. Chris is one of the good guys...honest, thorough & professional. We will definitely be contacting K&G again. Thank you, Angie's List and thank you, Chris!

Wow Quick fast and very professional.Chris can out the next day after I called him and gave me a quote on the spot.His price was better than 4 others I got. He called me made a appoitment to do the job was here on time and the roof was done in 1 day. The gutters were done in 1 more day and he put gutters on 2 of my houses.Forget calling the other guys save yourself time and money and just call Chris

K G Roofing & Construction Inc of Lockport IL were excellent. This was my first time using Angie's List and I can see why it's worth the little extra to find quality and professional workmanship. K G owner, Chris Gall, was very professional and delivered everything he quoted on time and at a very reasonable price. From the estimate right to the end of the job, Chris showed he knew his work well and made me feel comfortable that the work would be done well. Chris told me he would have the work completed in one day, which I thought would take longer, but he completed the work with his crew in 8 hours and had everything cleaned up in front of my house as if they were not even there. Chris even came back the next day, as he said he would, to drop some extra shingles in case we need them in the future. The K G crew worked non-stop and quickly but I did not feel that they rushed the work as there were 4 workers with Chris. I could tell they really knew what they were doing. Chris also gave me a great price and told me if there was anything that I needed, he would be there and stand by his warranty. I believe him and must say it is very nice to know there are still honest, hard working contractors out there like Chris that take pride and stand behind their work. I have the quote from KG and their prices are good. As far as my internet research goes, the product they are recommending does not have a good trackrecord. I hope to sort through this soon with my agent, though I wanted Angie's List readers to know these guys are professionals and believe in their reputation on Angie's List. Have not been on AL for long. I am finding our that everyone reviewers and companies alike take this all very seriously. That gives me a sense of piece of mind knowing that the professionals are truly vetted and the reviews can be trusted if you read thoroughly.

Chris was great to work with, he took care of everything quickly and efficiently. We agreed on a great price, his team was out the next week, they arrived early in the morning and finished early afternoon. Everything was cleaned up neatly after the job was completed. I was so impressed with him and his company that i also hired him to install new gutters. I would definitly use and reccomend this company in the future.

They came out within two days and just charged me a service charge for it. They have done roof repairs for me too. I kept using them because they are very good. I liked their responsiveness. I called them up and they were out within two days and did the repair. They gave me the estimate over the phone and they stuck to the estimate. I did not have any difficulty in getting them. I've been impressed with them. I have used them for the roof and to install new gutters on my house. The latest thing was the flashing that had come out. I got them off of Angie's List.

This company was one of five that I called for a proposal for a total re-roof job with an estimated value of $10,000. I have a mixed opinion of this provider. While their description of their work process and materials was the same as others, they would not put the specifications and price in writing until after I agreed to do the job. That's not very professional. This was a big dollar job and my plan was to obtain multiple written proposals for a full evaluation and was not choosing solely by price. In the end, I never considered them because of no written proposal and chose someone else. I actually think they would have done a decent job.

I was pleased with them. They were more reasonable then two other bids that we had. They were close to one bid and extremely under another bid. They did a good job. They were here in and out in no time. The project didn't last more than a couple of days. The owner came out, went over the whole roof himself and did some caulking and some checking too. They did a nice job. They were up there of my roof and I didn't even know they did. They are here when they say they are going to be here and they do what they say they are going to do which is something unusual.

Kris was very prompt to return all phone calls. Never a problem getting a hold of him. He kept us informed regarding his schedule and when he would be able to start (since roofing depends on the weather). The crew showed up at 7 a.m. on the scheduled day. The job took about one and one half days. Clean up was fine. Kris was helpful - I needed a shingle from the old roof and pictures of the old roof for a class action claim on the old shingles. He took lots of pictures and provided me with several shingles. All my concerns were addressed promptly and resolved to my satisfaction. We are very pleased with our new roof and would not hesitate to recommend K G Roofing!

Chris the owner is very knowledgeable , and pleasant individual to work with . His business is very prompt and professional . They started early in the morning tearing off the old roofing and were finished with the new roof by 7 PM that day. There was a little follow up the second day to finish a small separate section of the roof. The crew even re-secured a gutter that was pulling away from the house at no extra cost. The clean up was unbelievable. My wife and I are extremely happy with everything that KG construction provided . They are top rate in my book and I happy refer them to others in need of a roof . I called Chris Gal on a Friday afternoon and he showed up the same day to provide an estimate. He seemed very knowledgeable and offered suggestions regarding venting and sky lights. His estimate was slightly lower than others I had received and based on the reviews in Angie's List I signed a contract. Due to the weather the work was delayed a couple of days but roughly when Chris estimated it would begin. The job was slowed by the weather but was completed in two days. Chris was on-site during the job and his crew was very conscientious regarding cleaning up. Overall I'm very pleased with the results and can offer nothing but praise for the job they did.

Great. We had many quotes and Chris was the lowest bidder. The work was well done and on time.

I called Chris to ask for an estimate of the work to be done on our house. He arrived on time and we discussed the various roofing materials, replacement of the existing skylights and installation of a new sun tunnel (which we provided). He measured the roof and came back to me with an estimate in less than 10 minutes. I had several other companies in for estimates and had to wait until they went back to their offices to figure it out and then send me a proposal. Of the several estimates I received, KG Roofing was the best price by far so we signed the contract. On the scheduled installation day, Chris and his crew arrived early and went right to work. They are very hard working and had the new skylights and sun tunnel installed before Noon. While installing the sun tunnel in our bathroom, Chris noticed that the exhaust fan was venting into the attic instead of through the roof. At no extra charge, he put in the roof vent and connected the exhaust fan. By the end of Day 1, they had 3/4 of my roof finished. Before leaving, they cleaned up everything around the house. The next day, they again arrived early and started right to work. They finished the roof on the house and garden shed. They then cleaned off all the debris on the roof and skylights and picked up every bit of garbage surrounding the house. When they left, everything around the house looked exactly the same as before they had done the work. Chris and his crew do a fantastic job. I would highly recommend then to anyone needing roofing work done. Several of my neighbors have commented on how beautiful the new roof looks!
