Just Call sears 5 stars people form sale too end. no problems so far every thing as prosmissed

They use a third party to do the installation. Failed first inspection and a week later passed the second inspection after repairs.

I think the furnace is fine (Kenmore). The salesman guaranteed a certain level of installation. The installer (independent contractor) did a good job but he had no idea what the salesman had promised. It was up to us to inform the installer what had been promised. If we had insisted, they wouldn't have replaced the copper tubing to the air conditioner. The salesman said this was necessary and standard practice for Sears, but it was news to the installer.

Overall easy to deal with

Sears was the first to contact me and felt they knew what they were talking about. There price was higher than I had estimated, bit they came down on the second try. Felt comfortable, since they are a large outfit and would back the install crew.

contractor was not familiar with the type of thermostat that he installed and was not helpful at all. i read instructions and am able to use system but i do not think i am using it to full advantage.

Sears was a very satisfactory experience - on time & quick installation & follow up.

Expensive but quick

My only issue was with the sub contractors, Sunset, they did a fine job, but didn't bring tools to clean up after themselves, it was an oil furnace replacement so there was a lot of soot. Also they took most of their trash with them, but left large boxes and filled up my small trash bin with various materials. With trash pick up only every two weeks that was pretty annoying. Overall the work was great, Sears and their subs did good work and communicated well. The price was a expected.

The Sear's installers were knowledgeable and efficient. They explained what needed to be done, then did it with complete proficiency. I have been completely satisfied with the completed work.

New high efficiency furnace and air conditioning. I believe the equipment was matched correctly to my house. Salesman was efficient and didn't try to oversell... he listened to what we wanted. The installers were excellent. They were careful and quick and the installation is very neatly done. When they left they left nothing behind. Very courteous and professional. The sears furnace is working as advertised... our home is more comfortable than it has ever been. We'll know about the air come summer. Very satisfied with Sears.

A bit pricey but financing is available. Financing was the deciding factor in my choice.

besides the salesman to telling me how long they would take, i'm happy with the job they did.

The salesman knew his business and his products and was able to explain it effectively to someone with limited knowledge like me. Work began within the time window specified. The contractors, Jeff Crowley Heating & Air Conditioning, arrived on time and ready to go to work. It was obvious they knew what they were doing and they were friendly and polite. They took out my old gas-fired boiler and disposed of it, put in the new one and ran the necessary ductwork and piping and were finished in about 5-6 hours. It's been about a month now and the new boiler is working fine.

When the Sears Rep. gives you an incentive, it will be a store credit and the certificate(credit) will be used to entice you to buy. If you do not what to buy yet, well... tough luck.. the certifiicate is reduced or even not given.You have to buy with a "twisted arm". All that you explain about the install will not be relayed to your installer. The info given to the rep was not considered worthy to tell the installers. They arrived with no gas pipe, no duct and even my h/a/c unit was shipped to another site one hundred ten miles away. my contract started and onDec 2. I have dropped Sears because I could write a book on this tragic buy.

It was a pleasant experience from the very start. NO hassles. Other project with other services have been nothing but hassles.

very good deal all the way around i will have my windows replaced in a few years. joe westmoreland is a top notch salesman.. very very helpful and a pleasure to do business with.

The sales team were extremely thorough and professional. However, once the order was signed the salesman was less attentive and did not reply to a voice mail question. Installation was fast and professional by obviously skilled techs. However, once the furnace fired up, that was 'job done'. No attempt was made to measure flue O2 or otherwise verify that the furnace was working as advertized. I also had to ask them to properly finish up the filter installation which was incomplete. On the whole, I am satisfied. The furnace seems to be functioning properly. It will take a few months to see if the promised economy materializes.

So far I have seen some savings on my electric bill.
