Kitchen Remodel
Yes, I recommend this pro
I hired Transform to remodel my kitchen. In the past I had some trust issues. We had brought a membership thinking that we would be able to do it ourselves. That left us paying a big bill. So when Transform came I was very apprehensive. But he eased mind and told me the company was a product of Sears and I was happy. My kitchen is beautiful I would recommend Transform for any home project. They were very polite, did not make much of a mess, and they cleaned up behind themselves. Very, very Professional. Financing was also available and that was the best part, being able to pay for it. I am very well pleased.

Kitchen Remodel
$9,000
Overall, I am happy with how my kitchen looks, but the process was not a good experience at all. I think Sears' role in this process was pretty awful. First, our intial measurements were off which ended up costing us more money. It took Sears WEEKS to process the floor and countertop measurements which delayed the whole process. For example, it took over three weeks for someone to notice that the first and second floor measurements were off. Once the project finally started after waiting 3 months, the communication from Sears to the contractors was awful. The floor contractors showed up and had no idea what the project entailed. They thought they were just removing tile and putting new flooring down when we had paid for removal of damaged subflooring, new subflooring, installation of subflooring, leveling of floor and new flooring due to water damage. The contractors showed up with zero subflooring material which was the biggest red flag to tell us they had no knowledge about the extent of the project. My husband had to supervise the entire project to make sure all of the moldy subfloor was removed. The contractors also told us they were not paid for the project and stopped working for part of the day. Additionally, we got a frantic text from the sales person saying we would need to pay an additional $3,000 to have the floor done the way we wanted. After multiple calls and emails we were able to get that sorted. We also had dust everywhere that we had to clean up even though we were told that the contractors would put up sheeting to contain the mess (this did not happen). The countertop installation was smoother, though our plumbing hookup was over three hours late. He was a lovely man though. Overall, we liked the contractors that actually came out to do the work, but Sears communication and coordination was really awful. Would suggest just finding your own contractors and coordinating it yourself.
