Corey Mosoff, Plumber of Lifeline Plumbing, Elgin examined all the plumbing features. His primary recommendation was to install a water softener. He showed us the build up of corrosion caused by hard water. "Every home in St. Charles needs a water softener". Corey was professional and friendly. We plan on using Lifeline again.

I was very disappointed. They came in and the price became 700 dollars more than 111 and then without my knowledge or approval they worked around the house instead of putting stickers on things that they thought might need plumbing improvements since there is the water heater in the basement and then they proceeded to bring me downstairs. They were way over priced and very unprofessional and should have been working through the house without my knowledge or concern. They were just dishonest and they wasted my time.

It went ok. Everything went through.

We a sump pump was stuck and kept running. That service turned awesome. The gen4talman who came out were very thorough with explaining what was not right with our sump pump. They were prompt, courteous and clean. They every took their shoes off at the door and they were really professional. I would highly recommend them and I wished I could give them an A+.

Tim offerred me a couple options for price points, and suggestions for me, if I was willing or able to deal with the problem on my own before he got into work. Since I'm not a plumber, and time was a factor, I went with the more expensive option, but there was absolutely no pressure. Tim and Tim came back the next day when he had the necessary stuff to complete the job, and was super fast and friendly. I'll definitely be calling these guys back. Thanks!

I appreciated the patience the technician had w me while explaining the details of how sump pumps operate. Very clear on the brand he was installing and why. Very professional. Made sure I had no additional questions when he completed the job.

They used smoke bombs to track leaks in the plumbing lines and found 4 different areas that needed separate repairs. They worked for 9 hours straight and did not leave until they considered the work completed and "fixed". They made sure to do a last smoke bomb to check for any additional leaks and found none that last time. We are now in a wait and see period to make sure that the smell is really gone, but we already have seen major improvement since this service was done.

It was fine. We ended up having to get more done but it was very good. He came quickly, did what had to be done and that was it. I'm sure it was fine, I just don't remember. Anything that I've done with Angie's List, I haven't had any problem. They came out right away. I think they came withing the week after purchasing the big deal.There was some extra charges after they did the work. We had to but a new part. I think we'll use them again. They came promptly and did everything hat needed to be done. They ordered the part and as soon as they came in, they came out. It was another $250 because we had to buy a new thing for our faucet in the kitchen. The part was expensive. My husband worked with them. I wasn't here, I was at work and my husband was here. What he said was that they were very friendly which is nice. Its nice to get the work done but if people were friendly while doing it, it was nice too.

Lifeline sent out Cole who arrived 3 hours ahead of schedule. Cole quoted price before work started. I considered price reasonable and actually lower than previous rodding performed by a competitor. Work was completed and actually exceeded my expectations. Not only was the blockage cleared but Cole continued rodding well beyond the blockage and out to the street. He then cleaned and vacuumed the floor leaving the place cleaner than before he arrived. Very professional and really nice guy. Forget Roto Rooter and call Lifeline.

Tim and I discussed the age of the water and the fact that it had not been drained in at least 8 years, we knew it wasn't a good idea to start now. A tankless water heater is on my preferred list of things to take care of in the near future. Pricing will more than likely dictate if I can actually go to a tankless or if I will remain with the traditional hot water heater. Tim's inspection referenced city codes and also suggested a backup system for the sump pump. It's also good to know that Lifeline Plumbing is not limited to plumbing but also handles heating and cooling. I like one-stop shopping. Thank you Lifeline Plumbing! I'm sure we will be in touch.

Everything went very well. Evan was the technician that did the work and we were very happy with his professionalism and knowledge. He took the time to explain the issues and provide multiple options to address our problems. We are happy with the results and will leverage Lifeline in the future..

Corey was AWESOME! We had accidentally put a nail through a copper water pipe, which had a leak. He was very careful cutting around the drywall and while making the repair. Along the way, he explained everything that he was doing and reminded us of ways to avoid this problem in the future. Since we've only been in our house 3 weeks, he suggested he do an inspection of our plumbing so we knew what everything was and where it was located. He spent so much time explaining everything to us, and we were so grateful for the detail he went in to. We feel so much better about our home after getting the lay of the land so to speak. We will definitely use Lifeline plumbing again and will ask for Corey!

I used the $69 service call +20% off coupon. Lifeline was very prompt and punctual. I got an appointment very quickly and the plumber was here on time. The work was done quickly and was high-quality, as far as I can tell. I was a bit surprised that the plumber did not have all of his tools in his truck (he said he had a new truck, and so not all of his tools were there). He ended up having to cut out the tub drum for a price that was higher than I was expecting. The cost for replacing the washing machine spigots was relatively high, but he did a very good job, and leaned up after himself very well, moving the washing machine back to the correct position. Overall I was satisfied with the speed and quality of the work, but will probably shop around for prices a bit more next time.

I purchased the big deal and had an appointment time window between 10am-1pm. During this time Corey called to let me know he was running a little late due a longer previous job and he would be here at 1:30pm and he was. Corey was very thorough - he checked everything and did a great job explaining all the options and comparisons of repair vs. replacement. Along with the water heater flush, I knew I needed some toilet and bath drain repairs. During the inspection, Corey was able to adjust my sink drains. Corey provided a detailed quote before he left. We have an appointment set up next week to complete some of the work he quoted. Very pleased with the service and work so far.

It was a Big Deal purchase. I had no problems getting the appointment scheduled and having them come out to provide the service. The only issue was that they were going to install a sump pump and the scheduler said that was fine but when the guy came out, he said, "No, that's not included for that price". We did have the faucet replaced. It was okay but that was a little annoying.

It was within a reasonable amount of time. He did a good job. After he inspected it, there was something that could have been fixed. The price that he gave me was a little high. As far as the service was concerned, the service was good.

The plumber was on time and did a good job. He was upfront about the costs and what was needing completed. He went above and beyond the deal and had to pay a little bit extra which was worth it. I appreciated that he was willing to stay and finish the job needed to be completed.

It was relevant what they charged. The quote was fine. They were here on time. It was punctual. It was good. Good responsiveness. They did their job right.

It was okay. They charged us for other small things that they did. We were just trying to get a quote to see how much it would cost us but they end up being way too expensive for us. It was little bit overpriced for us. They were pretty professional. They were here on time as they said so. Professional wise they were very professional so they did what they had to do.

They were very easy to schedule with and the plumber was well trained, experienced, professional, and efficient. I was very impressed with how clean he left the work space. I'd definitely use them again.

I bought an Angie's list deal to have the plumber drain a water heater. When he came out, he said he could not drain the water heater because some of the connecting valves were too old and corroded, and the heater was 10 years old and had never been drained, which could cause problems. Fair enough. Instead, he gave estimates on other plumbing work he said needed to be done, with a total cost around $2,500 for everything. Subsequently, another Angie's list highly recommended plumber replaced the water heater at a fair price and threw in one of the other needed repairs for free, and advised that some of the other quoted repairs were not necessary. In my opinion, there was false advertising on this "deal", and it should not have been offered as a "deal". It was nothing more than a paid service call giving the plumber an opportunity to sell his services (at high prices, in my opinion). Had I known what was going to happen, the "deal" would have not been purchased. Previously, I had purchased an Angie's list deal for some electrical work, and it was a good deal, and was exactly what was advertised. Based on that good experience, I was very disappointed in this one, and will therefore be less likely to purchase this type of "deal" in the future.
