It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I have already made another appt.

I was feeling very and quot;frumpyand quot; and needed a whole New Look but I was nervous about the change. I knew I needed to go to a different stylist for the change. But how do I find the perfect place and a stylist to trust? My mom recommended Angie's List. So, I joined specifically to research reviews for Beauty Salons and Madril had the most, plus I really liked what their customers had to say.
First of all, I LOVED the building they are in! They are located in what has to be the oldest Bank Building in Boise! It has to be over 100 years old but the inside is a mix of original brick and wood plus a touch of modern.....PLUS the salon was very clean! The owner, Canyon, gave me a tour after I arrived. He also offered me water, coffee, tea or even a glass of wine! Next time I won't be shy and take the glass of wine :)
The stylist, Kaitlyn, came out and said hi and told me she'll be right with me. I really liked that personal touch. She was so personable and warm. I told her that I hated my hair and my dull color. She was awesome. She gave me a complete consultation and I trusted her right away. She had a vision and was excited to bring it to life. Kaitlyn was (and is) very confident and talented.
She had my chair turned away from the mirror so I would see the complete makeover after it was finished. I was nervous but she knew I would love it. It is also important to say that she offered a not so dramatic (length) cut, but I said no, lets go short and I was thrilled with the reveal. I feel that the same cut and color would be $500 or higher in LA.
She gave me beautiful and natural color AND an adorable, feminine, sexy, hair cut that took 10 years off my age...plus it's easy to care for! I get compliments everyday and I feel extremely comfortable in referring her and Madril Salon to all my friends and family.

Crystal is the best hair dresser I've ever been too. It took her around 4 hours to correct what the other salon did. She went out of her way to figure out the best way to get rid of my orange stripe and to bring the rest of my hair close to it's original color without drying it out anymore than it was. My hair had been sticking out on both sides about 3 inches and Crystal was able to give it a great cut so all I have to do is put some mouse in it and go. Also, I was so panicky and upset over my hair that she came in on Saturday and she wasn't even working that day. Everybody at the salon is very nice and willing to help. It was absolutely wonderful.........my first appointment was January 24th, 2012 where Ashlyn cut my hair and we talked about having a weave put in my hair. She did it light to see if we needed more and then she thought about it and when I went back on February 7th, 2012, she put more in.......I could not be happier. Got the best haircut of my life....I can actually get out of bed and just comb it. It is easy to style.....sign of an excellent cut. Please read the above for more detail....you are missing out if you do not try Madril Hair Design on Ustick Road....it is the old Ustick Bank Building.

They are fabulous and have won many awards for coloring hair; they are wonderful. I can get out of bed and not even comb my hair if I don't want to; that's a good haircut. I have never had my hair weaved before so what they did with the coloring is wonderful. All of the technicians are experts; the owner is hands on, she is right there. It is a small shop and they have great products. It is real classy and everyone is very friendly; I can't say enough about it. I will use them again in the future.
