The staff is knowledgeable when you need to buy, for example, a harness for your sharpei, or a toy for your minpin. They always take the time to treat you like a valued customer, and a neighbor. I prefer to patronize local businesses when I can. This store has prices that compare favorably to the big chains.

I like to shop local, and in this case it really pays. The brand of dog food that the store sells that is comparable to the mainland one I used to use, is much cheaper, and my dogs really like it. The staff is very knowledgeable about the products they stock, and they were able to help me find a particular harness for my dog. They were willing to spend some extra time to do so. The staff uses the products in the store, and they willingly share their opinions with customers, which is very helpful. Everyone in the store is friendly and professional, the prices compare favorably to the big pet stores, and I don't have to drive far--and I get to support a local business. Good news all around.
