Well the garage door works now, they put in new rollers. It works perfect and I think they did a good job.

Purchased a Big deal for IDC Garage Door LLC to inspect our garage doors. We only had them service one door and replace one door opener.

The technician showed up on time, serviced both garage doors (new rollers on one), and worked well (via my mother in law who was home at the time - extra bonus points for that) and the doors have been performing smoothly and quietly ever since.

He came and explained all my options to me very thoroughly. I opted to have the key pad installed on the exterior of the garage and he even told me different places that I could have it installed. Finally he programmed my van buttons to the garage door. I couldn't have been more pleased with the service provided.

He was actually at the house on time, where I was late. He asked me what all I was looking to have done, I told him, he did it, he left. He was very curtious, professional, and friendly.

Nathan arrived on time and went right to work. as he was servicing the opener, he noticed that the door was not pulling straight and pointed out that the company that had installed the opener did not change the pulleys and they were worn out. He replaced them and now the door is opening straight and a lot quieter.

i was flexible with scheduling, allowing them to pick a time when they would be in my area since I was a little further out from their usual customer base. Nathan arrived when expected and made quick work of removing the squeaks and moans. He also quickly installed the keypad and walked me through programming my code into it, without compromising my security - in other words, he walked away to make sure he wasn't able to see the code I was entering and was able to walk me through the steps needed to program the keypad. It worked without a hitch. He then made sure to present the docuemntation on the keypad - a step often forgotten by others I've dealt with. I love my quiet door and my keypad - especially when I have to leave my car overnight for servicing and forget my remote.

No issues - simple service - efficient work

Susanne at IDC was very friendly and knowledgeable. When we called about our old Genie screw-drive garage door opener, she was able to give us an educated guess about why it was sometimes getting stuck and not opening all of the way. She also knew that our old model of opener was prone to dripping grease onto the tops of garage doors, which we were experiencing, and she informed us that the dripping problem was something that probably couldn't be fixed. We decided we wanted to replace the opener. Susanne answered all of our questions about the pros and cons of the various models IDC recommended. She provided links to the manufacturer's websites so we could look at and read about the different units ourselves. Susanne went over all of the features and pricing in detail and helped us determine what would work best for us and with our Home Link-equipped vehicles, etc. In the end we decided to go with a Liftmaster 3280. We scheduled a day and time for IDC to install the new opener. Nathan at IDC came out to our house and installed the opener. He was on time and professional, and the work was complete in under an hour. Our garage wasn't pre-wired for a wall button, and with our old unit we had been using an extra wireless remote hung on the wall with a screw. But Nathan was able to neatly tack up the wiring for the new unit's wall button. He also installed the wireless keypad. Then he showed us how to use the opener and keypad and even quickly programmed the Home Link unit in one of our vehicles (only one car was home at the time). A couple of weeks after the new opener was installed, we did have an intermittent problem with our garage door reversing itself and opening back up instead of completely closing. We called IDC and Nathan and an assistant came back out a couple of days later. The opener itself was fine. But Nathan found an issue with the cross-support strut on the bottom of our garage door. Right as the door was almost shut, the strut was slightly obscuring the new cameras that came with the Liftmaster 3280, causing the beam to be broken and the door to open back up. It hadn't done it at all on the day it was installed, and it was intermittent afterwards - probably due to differences in heat and/or humidity causing the door to swell just enough for the strut to sometimes stick out further. IDC unscrewed the strut and remounted it a few inches higher so it wouldn't obstruct the cameras, and didn't charge us anything for the second visit. We haven't had any issues since the strut was re-positioned. We love the new Liftmaster opener. It does everything we need it to do, and it works well with our the built-in openers in our cars. It's a belt-drive unit which is extremely quiet compared to our old Genie screw-drive opener. The keypad is very convenient, and the wall button is so much better than the extra remote control we'd been using before. So IDC's recommendation was right on the money. We're happy with the service we received and the work they performed. We'd definitely recommend IDC Garage Door LLC to our friends and family and to anyone else who needs their garage door opener serviced or replaced.

After purchasing the offer, I contacted IDC to set up an appointment. Nobody answered, so I left a message. They returned my call promptly. We set a date and time (between 9 and 12) a couple of weeks later, due to my work schedule. They called me the day of the appointment when the technician was on his way. He arrived 10 - 15 minutes later and went right to work, was cordial (I was working in/around the garage that day), and completed his tasks in a reasonably short period of time. With new rollers, mechanical adjustments and lubrication, our garage door is much quieter and operates much smoother.

Nathan came out at the time scheduled and it was a delightful experience. He tightened up all loose bolts on my wooden garage door, re-aligned one of the tracks that was out of alignment and did a fantastic job in servicing the door. Opening the door is now much quieter; no more creaks and groans. The key pad is awesome! Also was impressed with Suzanne who worked on the scheduling with me. As I work full time, I requested a Saturday appointment, which took a little longer to get scheduled, but worked out great. Suzanne and Nathan are awesome to work with!

Our garage door was 22 years old, and I think it had only a few more successful cycles left in it when I contacted IDC. They were an Angie's List Big Deal that just happened to hit at the right time. Suzanne is the first one at IDC that I talked to about it, and she was so pleasant and helpful that I did not hesitate to take the deal for them to come out and assess my existing door, tracks and motor. Nathan showed up on schedule and offered excellent advice on the condition of the current setup, options for service or replacement, and a good overview of product offerings and installation costs. He conducted himself like a professional consultant rather than a salesman. He obviously knew his stuff and knew how to present it without being condescending or intimidating, and he is a really big guy (not fat). After my wife raised the normal issues that slow or stymie projects like this (I love her anyway), I put her in touch with Suzanne. Suzanne was so nice and patient that even my wife approved of the company. She ordered the door and set installation for Good Friday, not knowing it was Good Friday. Nathan and crew showed up as scheduled for delivery, did the whole job in 2-3 hours, asking me only the important things like where I wanted the decorative hinges placed, presented me the bill with the Angie's List credit applied as a line item, ran me through the operating features, and then went on to his next job. This is how I like jobs to go. They left the place clean, and my garage door, which used to screech like fingernails on a chalkboard, now just whispers. Excellent. It turns out Nathan is the company owner and Suzanne is his wife (I think). These two make a great team, and if they are still around in 25 years when I may need some service, they will get my business.

I originally saw their offer on Angie's list which was 50-60% cheaper than a couple other garage door companies I had called. They returned my initial call promptly and scheduled a convenient time. The technician showed up on time, did the job quickly and cleaned up afterwards.
