It was unfortunate in a way wood stock company was  headed by a gentleman by the name of Jim Curtis and we were really doing fine, lining up some items that we had here that we intended to go to auction and he suddenly died so I understand the auction company still exist his wife and son has taken over, they were part of it anyway but the cohesiveness he and I had together over the items that my wife and I owned was absolutely ideal and it didn't carry over into his wife and son working forward with it, they had a program , But they didn't have his program in action unfortunately it didn't materialized and they returned our items and we are friends and that was the answer to that I was devastated. he was a very cautious person on our behalf although he auction after about four of the items of very many that we had forecast to get rid of and that exchange was very good. We can't use them because it is a entirely different approach to what you have and it's one thing to get rid of an estate is having the estate auctioned and another one will taking collectibles which you have acquired for a long period of time and finding the proper audience that wants those items.

He told me he'd get me between $500- $2000.  Final amount was $3700!!  He was friendly, extremely helpful, he exceeded my expectations, and he was a joy to work with.  I highly recommend him and if ever I have need of another auction, he'll be the one I call. Could not be happier!

I contacted Big Jims Auctions (aka Woodstock Auction Company) to consider their services for an estate auction and sale.  After meeting Jim Curtis, I knew he was the one for the job.  He was not only personable, but very knowledgeable.  He works with his wife Bea, who is one of the nicest people I've met.  They came into a house packed full of various collections, furnishings and a hodge-podge of items.  Jim and Bea spent numerous hours over several days organizing the items, researching the collectibles, and displaying them in a most attractive manner.  Jim, along with Bea, held a very successful auction and sale.  I was pleased with the proceeds received from both.  (I didn't list the approximate cost of Jim's service as it's a percentage of the proceeds.)  Throughout the process, Jim was always available and answered any questions I had.  Jim, Bea and their team are honest people, and I trusted them completely with my possessions.  The goal was to clear the home of all items, and Jim and his team accomplished this.  I will use Jim again and highly recommend his services.
