Jerry Cobb with Cool Air was the technician who performed warranty service on my AC today. Jerry was not only competent but so personable. He spent the extra time answering my questions and explained "in layman's terms" what was wrong with the AC. I have a service contract with Cool Air and have had only great experiences with their technicians. I would highly recommend them. Jerry was exceptional!!!!

Nima came out first to diagnose a problem with the zone control board after a lightning strike hear the house. Very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He found the issue, determined a new board was needed, ordered the board, and rewired controls to bypass the damaged board, so some air conditioning function was possible until the new board part arrived (important as weather was very warm). Nima returned with the new board, installed it and cleaned up wiring in general, and checked duct damper actuators. He checked that cooling was performing properly, going to every vent in the house that was affected. He then saw that the control board of the furnace was returning an error and that the variable speed fan blower was not changing speeds as it should. The control zone board replacement was needed first in order to show the malfunctions in the furnace controls and blower. He quoted replacement of the control board and the fan as individual parts replacements, but because of the manufacturer's pricing of these parts, the total cost of the two parts were the same as a complete furnace unit (with control board and blower). He gave two manufacturers to choose from and we ordered one of them. Both times that Nima came out, he worked diligently even through the 100 degree plus environment in the attic and cleaned up the work area after, leaving no parts or packaging. Within a couple of days, the new furnace was available for installation and the installer crew of Vernon and Mike came out. Both were friendly, courteous, also diligent workers in high temperature conditions. They installed the furnace efficiently and neatly, cleaned up after the job, and talked me through the warranty and left the proper paperwork. The entire experience was very good and I would recommend Cool Air highly on the basis of these techs and their work.

Excellent! Daniel, the manager, was easy to work with and he gave us a good deal. The installers were very professional and they did an excellent job. The work was completed in May. The system has been great this summer. It's quiet and efficient as evidenced by lower electric bills.

I got a quote on the 13th and they installed on the 14th. So, it was relatively quick, but I probably could have got the same work done cheaper. The price would be the one drawback that I had. I would probably not use them again. I would look for someone less expensive.

It went very well, Sean Haynes was the technician who came out to service the unit. He was on time, courteous and very knowledgeable. I continue to be impressed by Cool Air. I have had them install 2 new furnaces and the air conditioner that I mentioned. I have used other companies in the past but none of them were as good as Cool Air.

It was a great experience. We had a consultation with the sales rep first. He worked with us and our budget. He listened to our needs and helped us to pick out the unit we needed without going out of our budget. He was so nice and pleasant to work with. The guys came 2 days later to install the new system. They were. They were very professional and left everything clean when they were done. The new system is fantastic! We couldn't be happier with the whole experience!

Quoted a "discounted price" of 7K and later, when we didn't bite, quoted us a "limited time offer" of 2K less. It felt high pressure, and we were very turned off by it.

Technician was irritated by my husband's pointed questions about the additional air filtration system that was offered as an upsell.

My experience was great. Jorge and Jon called before they arrived. They laid down some cloth so that they wouldn't dirty up my floors. They were very respectful, and answered any questions I had.

I called them at 11am and received an appointment from 3-5pm that same day. The technician arrived at 3:45 (called 15 min prior). He promptly identified the issue, gave a quote, and made the repair all in the same day. Overall a great experience. Called other companies prior and had no guaranties of getting service until the following week (was a Thursday).

They were perfect!!! Doug and Mike arrived exactly at the promised 9am. They were quick, quiet and very respectful of my home. They were done with the entire project in no time and my home is nice and cool! This company has now replaced two systems for us and I will never use any one else. They are so responsive, caring and professional!

A/C went out Wed night, called Universal ARS who was doing period maintenance for us and 1st time repair guy could come out was Friday evening. Went to Costco Brookhaven, Thursday morning, spoke with Cool Air and she had a repair guy at my home 8:30 am Friday morning, guy was a straight shooter. Sales guy called and saw me 1st thing Friday morning, got quote Sat and was installed Monday morning. Canceled Universal repair guy and called their sales dept. to get a comparison quote, sales person never called back. Dave and Brain who installed couldn't have been more nice, polite or more competent. They called Monday to check with us and explained what they would be doing, called again Tuesday morning to make sure and asked "do you mind if we wear shorts since we'll be outside?" I was floored and told them they could come in bathing suits for all I cared. Took 4 hours start to finish. They never made a mess, put down floor drapes, and took the time to review with me what they had done. A+++ for these guys. Hats off to Costco form making Cool Air their vendor. I even got a nice big cash card from Costco and 2% back for charging it on Costco Amex.

The installation was exceptional! Very good price through Costco. From the initial visit for a quote through the final inspection, the process could not have been better. Friendly, very competent, good communication, always on time, thorough. Wouldn't call anyone else for HVAC needs after this experience. Highly recommend!

Workmen, Dale S. and Brain M. showed up on time, were unobtrusive, polite and informative. Completed project in one day in extremely hot conditions in the attic. Tested everything and explained everything before they left, hauled away all old materials.

Ron James replaced the air filter, checked the systems for corrosion, leaks and electrical components. He them show me I was low on freon and I need to add to the system. He also suggested because of the age of the system that I maintain a maintenance plan for my unit. Ron James is extremely professional and efficient. Call Cool Air for your maintenance needs and ask for Ron you will be satisfied.

From beginning to end, the experience couldn't have been better. I would highly recommend this company. We contracted through COSTCO for their services. Again, top notch.

Stephen Coleman was very thorough and explained what he was doing and why. Cleaned condenser coil, checked pressures, voltage draw, inspected the filter and recommended a different filter when it is time to replace. He made no attempt to sell us anything extra. He is very knowledgeable and professional.

They did a good job. As always, they called the day before the service visit to confirm the appointment. The service technician, Ron James, called me the morning of the appointment to see if he could arrive earlier than scheduled. Ron was polite, friendly and respectful. He checked out the system, washed out the compressor unit. I've been their customer for 3 years and have not had a bad experience with them. Their service agreement price is competitive and they respect my time. Every one of their service technicians has been polite, knowledgeable and on time. Because of my positive experience with Cool Air Mechanical, I signed up for another one year service agreement.

Steven Coleman was one of the most knowledgable, polite and professional service people I have dealt with. He was thorough, explained everything clearly, was not high pressure in selling the maintenance contract and was very pleasant to deal with. I intend to ask for him personally in future.

Called in the morning when we realized our air conditioner was not putting out cool air. Scheduled a call that afternoon and Steve C. arrived right on time as promised. He diagnosed the problem within minutes and had us up and running in no time. We switched from another company to Cool Air Mechanical last year and it's been consistent superior service to two other companies we have used in the past. They are a pleasure to do business with and we are glad to have found them.

Steve Coleman arrived at the schedule time. Introduce himself and covered his shoes. Spoke about what he was doing today. Took care of the 3 units, turn out lights and put the systems temp back to where we had them. Then he said that his work was completed and told me the status of each unit. I would definitely used Cool Air Mechanical again. In fact last year we had to replace one of the original units and will use them if any of the others need to be replaced.

Went shopping for a new furnace and AC through Costco and Cool Air was the vendor of choice. The Cool Air consultant, Bill Holman, was on time, courteous, professional and provided a great price, almost $3,000 less than any other quotes. The Cool Air installers, Nima and JR, let you know when they were coming and showed up on time. This was an attic installation and they were courteous and professional, protected the house and kept us informed throughout the process and provided some useful tips. I would not hesitate to recommend Cool Air for your furnace or AC needs.

We used this company a couple of months ago to replace a furnace - found them through Costco and then again today for some maintenance on an existing system (not the furnace they just installed). Their price for the new furnace was considerably less than the company we had been using. Everyone I dealt with from sales person to installer to Steve, the maintenance representative we had today have been very courteous, prompt and left no mess. I would highly recommend this company.

Great Company I called Cool Air based on a referral from a friend. Bill their General Manager came to our house to give me a quote. He was not only friendly but helped educate me on everything I needed to know to make the right decision on which HVAC system to purchase. In addition, he asked me questions about my family and whether I had pets which no other company had done. I?m glad he did because my kids have allergies and his recommendation of an air purification and UV Light system has really made a difference in my house. I?m also glad that he showed me the smart thermostats which allow me to change temperatures right from my iphone. Lastly, they are the only company that I spoke with that understood zoning and could utilize my existing zoning panel. Overall the experience was very pleasant. Their installation team really respected my home and time. I have since recommended Cool Air to a few of my friends who also bought systems and they are also very happy.
