When you call someone to fix your computer you never now what will happen or how much it will cost. We have had experiences with computer ?fix-it? guys coming to our home who spend hours sitting in our office clicking around for a while and charging hundreds of dollars when they decide to go home. There is never a way to get a price before they start and they seem to think a lot of their ability. Our experience with Spencer was quite different. He was quick to make an appointment time to work on our computer, he was courteous, he was patient in explaining things and most importantly he was and is very capable at fixing computer problems. We had a big problem with a terrible virus that wiped out all the files. He wasn?t able to restore those files but he got back everything possible and had we had sufficient back-up he could have restored everything easily. Everything runs better, I am able to open email attachments that I couldn?t open before and we now have good virus protection and back-up in place, thanks to Spencer?s recommendations. This is a company that really does everything possible to help those of us with troubled computers. His price at the end of all of his time and effort was extremely fair and was happily paid. We would recommend him to anyone with computer troubles and it may be a good idea to just let him check your computer before something terrible happens like it did to us.

I was happy to find this company on Angie's List because I wanted the work to be done remotely and not have to have anyone come into my home. I was impressed by all the positive reviews and was excited to have this company work on my computer. Donna was the one who performed the clean-up. She was very professional, polite, and patient with me. I have very little knowledge of the inner working of the computer so I was very thankful she was so knowledgable. She explained everything to me and installed anti-virus on my computer. She said to call back if there are any issues but the computer is running quicker with absolutely zero problems since Donna worked on it. I am very happy with the service and would highly recommend this company and Donna to anyone needing computer help. I will definitely be a return customer if I have computer issues in the future. She called around 9:30 and took control of my computer and got rid of all the malware. She explained clearly what she did and had me use the computer to make sure it was working.

It went very well. Donna called when she said she would, She explained everything she was going to do and assured me that the company would stand behind the cleanup as well as answer any questions I might think of later. I was very pleased with the work. My computer is working just great.

We had been having internet connection problems. I replaced my WiFi router, but that didn't solve it. I took machine to Geek Squad, but they were backed up 10-14 days. I couldn't wait that long, so I found Alexander Technical Resources on Angies and gave them a call. The rep who took my initial call tried some quick ideas, but that didn't solve the problem. Made an appt for them to call back two days later. Donna V. called promptly, was able to easily access my computer and solved the problem lickety split. Nice. No problems since, so I can recommend them enthusiastically.

This job took over 3 hours to perform because there was so much junk on the computer. It went great. Donna and Tom both worked on it and they were FANTASTIC. I think they are absolutely great. Just allow them to access your computer and answer a few questions and do what you have to do and they will completely finish your computer and it will be marvelous. Prior to contacting Alexander Technical Resources I did some research of my own on Angie's List. I was seeking someone that could possibly help me with a problem I was having with my computer. There were a number of potential sources I could have used, but based on the initial cost and favorable reviews I settled on Alexander Technical Resources. I made an online purchase thru Angie's List on Oct. 20th and within two days I was contacted by a representative of Alexander Technical Resources. I discussed the issue I was having and made an appointment where upon a technician would be contacting me on an agreed upon date. That date arrived and I was contacted, by phone, by the technician. I explained the problem I was having and in a very brief amount of time the problem was corrected along with a suggestion to keep the problem from happening again in the future. To me, it was well worth the effort in seeking their help and would highly recommend them in looking into your computer problem whatever it may be.

She was very personable and knew what she was supposed to do. She corrected several things to make my pc run better. It was a good experience.

It went great! The technician called me within in the 1 hour time frame I was given. He had sent an email to my inbox and all I had to do was click on the email to open a share center. After approving that the technician could work remotely from my computer, I was told the process would take around 2-1/2 to 3 hours. 2 hours and 40 minutes later, the tech called to tell me that my computer was all cleaned up and ready to work at 100% again. As suspected, my computer had 38 infections as well as some horrible virus that has been attacking computers at a rapid rate. The company has worked hard over the last month to find ways to clean this particular virus out of computers and had only obtained a 50% rate of success a couple of weeks ago. They kept working hard to find solutions and now they are at a 100% rate of successful removal. My computer was left virus free with no damaged files. I am recommending this service to ALL of my friends and family members. My computer is running like a charm now. If you have any indication that you might have a virus, do not hesitate to have it looked at. This was the best $100 I've spent in a while. I will definitely do it again in a year, as recommended by the technician.

Was not bale to work on XP operating system

Unbelievably super job, took less than 2 hours and our primary desktop computer is running at lightening fast speed now. The tech also patiently showed us some suggestions as to how to make this 4 year old 'dinosaur' fly even faster by upgrading some circuitry (obtainable in any local computer shop). The tech (Donna) was professional, helpful and above all very understanding since my computer ability ranks right up there with my ability to wash clothes and not mix the dark clothes with the whites though I still haven't figured out how to make the washer stop thumping and rocking during the spin cycle. Use this company for your computer tune-up needs with complete confidence.

files cleaned up and the computer is working great.Computer was in terrible condition and required extensive work. Provider had to spend significant time over 3 days to complete the work, but never tried to charge extra. Finally got the

Computer system crashed. Company worked to fix the problem and did, so we thought. However, soon after hanging up with computer technician, the computer experienced more problems. We call the company back and they were more than helpful. We scheduled another appt. for the next day. It took 1/2 morning to repair the additional problems. The service tech. and customer support were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I will definitely use them in the future and recommend them to others!!!

Extremely well. I went about my work while the technician did hers. I was able to watch what was being done on my screen. She was good. Very good. Thank you . So much.

Excellent service. Signed up on the 27th and was taken care of on the 28th. Donna, my rep, really knew her stuff and was professional. She wasted no time getting to work and in addition to fixing my desktop so it operates normally again, she provided advice and assistance with my windows 8 OS. I could never have done this by myself, and I didn't even need to leave the house. Amazing!

She did an excellent job and was thorough in making sure that the malware was totally "killed". I did not experience any problem with malware after that. She was professional and supportive.

The person I worked with Donna V. was remarkable. She spent hours and hours cleaning out malware and all sorts of other threats to my computer. She even discovered some ransMNomware (anyone watch the Good Wife you'll know what I'm talking about). She couldn't delete it for fear of activiating the virus so she strongly advised me to get a separate hard drive or at least a flash drive to back-up my systerm asap. Excellent advise. Since my computer is over 4 years old I'm doing that today. After all the clean-up Donna then stayed on the phone with my to help me connect my new wireless printer to my computer. This is what started this whole process. My computer wasn't able to read the printer's cd. Even after the clean-up there was a driver problem so Angela went so far as finding the new driver I needed on the printers website and sending me the link via email. I downloaded it this morning and the printer works like a champion. Donna, you went above and beyond and I cannot thank you enough. Your professionalism and computer expertise is a credit to you and your company.

Everything went fine, it was just a misunderstanding on my part. I thought they could help set up my home wireless network, but they can not do that remotely.

They called me to get access to my machines. Did the maintenance and clean up in 3 hours. Great customer service, reliable and excellent work!

It went fine, I just solved my computer issue myself before our appointment and after I had paid.

.I was receiving continual popups, unwanted windows advertising services and slow responses. The day after I purchased the service a popup appeared that blocked access to my email. I was unable to register an exception to get beyond the error message. The technician as very professional, courteous and patient. She walked me through the steps needed for her to access my computer (since I could not access my email, the link she sent could not be used). She reviewed the applications installed on my computer and identified malware (very informative--had no idea some of the sites and applications were malware). After the tutorial she explained what she would be doing to 'clean' my computer. She spent over four hours removing malware and ensuring the applications that I wanted/needed were working correctly. I will definietly use the service on a regular basis to keep my applications up to date and to ensure there is no malware or viruses.

Best I can say is you won't be disappointed!

My computer had picked up serious malware recently and many things had gone wrong - certain addresses I used regularly wouldn't open, some links wouldn't open, Microsoft Explorer wouldn't work - I needed help. This company works on your computer remotely - they contact you via email and create a link to your computer so they have the same view of your monitor you have, and they have the same control. After speaking with the representative for a few minutes to tell her what was wrong, I hung up and she worked on my computer for 3 1/2 hours. She was friendly, responsive and very knowledgeable, and best of all she resolved all my problems. Highly recommended.
