Description of Work: We were extremely happy with James and Steve of The Comfort Authority. Genuinely nice guys. Professionals in every way. We were so thrilled to finally find someone we could trust to do excellent work and they always go the extra mile. Our first time to call them, they removed and cleaned the evaporator coil. They had to take the heavy coil outdoors to clean it because it was badly impacted due to the pet hair in the house. In order to remove the coil, they had to remove the casing around the door of the closet the A/C unit is in. They replaced the casing around the door after they finished with the unit. They repaired a kinked refrigerant line. Installed surge protection on both the indoor and outdoor units. They installed a compressor saver start assist. They recalibrated the A/C unit which had not been calibrated correctly when it was installed five or six years ago by a different company. We noticed the difference in our electric bill the very next month. It has saved about $30 per month on our electric bill. They answered all of our questions and also gave us tips on how to keep our unit running well and running efficiently. It is such a good feeling to know that we have found a company that we can count on and trust.

He gave me a list of options to choose from. Starting from doing basic service to the full sweep of my needs assessment. Description of Work: -Clean the outside unit. Steve showed me the unit after taking off the panels. After cleaned, he showed me the difference. -the air handler had mold and an filter in wrong placement. They replaced the filter w/ a 5" one in the proper placement - the ducts were on the floor causing poor air flow. They rehung duct work to relieve pinched areas - the blower was agast w/ mold. They took it out, cleaned, re assembled it and re installed it.
