Arrived on time, actually early which was great. Very professional, wrapped everything extremely well taking care to protect our furniture. We moved my mom to an assisted living center so it was a difficult day but they made it so easy for us. Kind and thoughtful gentlemen. Thank you!

Tina - today's move of my elderly parents into an independent living community could not have gone better as far as the equipment and personnel from Moving Ahead Services is concerned. The move was difficult for my parents because they have lived in their home for 53 years and my Mom has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and is having challenges dealing with the changes in her life. Jake did an excellent job leading the team and everyone who participated in the move was courteous, kind, polite and patient with my parents and family members. I would certainly recommend Moving Ahead Services to anyone planning a move.

When another company we had booked bailed on us two days before our scheduled move, we were at a loss for how to salvage our home purchase and move that we had planned so carefully. I called Moving Ahead Services, not expecting any sort of success from any company with so little time available. They went above and beyond what I could have expected to find a driver on short notice and quite literally saved my family's move. The service from everyone involved was impeccable and the communication and flexibility were outstanding. I would recommend them to anyone planning a large move.

Can't say enough positive things about this company and the people who staff it. My wife and I contacted them at the last minute to help us with a cross-country move -- we needed a driver for a 26' rental truck. Two days later, right on schedule, the driver was at our doorstep and four days later he and that fully-loaded truck were in front of our new home 2,400 miles away. Again, right on schedule. (Bonus Points: Malcom, the driver, kept us updated on his progress along the way.) Throughout the process the entire Moving Ahead team was courteous and responsive -- honestly, they treated us like friends. You can't put a price tag on the stress and physical toll this company lifted from our shoulders. Put simply: their service was worth every penny.

Beware of hidden costs they don't tell you up front. I contracted a flat rate. When they arrived at the house they told me the flat rate was for 3 hours and only applied if paid in cash. If not, and additional hour was $179.00 plus 7% for a credit or debit card. They work and drive the truck very slow to make up additional time. I ended paying almost double of the original contracted price.

Rude employees. Thoughtless And careless behavior Broken and or damaged furniture Broken China . Last minute excuses. Poor service. Not terribly honest. Think used car salesmen. Always one more phone call saying you need to pay more money. I made it clear that I had immune issues and Iâ m 74. This was not only a nightmare it should qualify for elder abuse. And then didnâ t file for damages because I just didnâ t want to deal with them any more. I knew it would be endless back and forth and after months of aggravation if I got anything it would be pennies. If you value your sanity find another company

Moving Ahead Services is excellent! At every stage of planning my move, their staff was accessible by phone, and they provided emailed confirmation messages that reassured me that all details were correctly specified. I was also in contact with a specific staff member who handled my account, so that I had a consistent contact person available who was familiar with the details of my move. They allowed me to schedule at no charge a pre-move assessment visit of my home, so that we could strategize ahead of the move date. On the day of the move, they called ahead to let me know that they were en route; arrived on time; and were very efficient in their work. I was pleased that they were respectful of my home during the move. Overall, this move was a very positive experience, and I highly recommend Moving Ahead Services.

Getting a quote was very easy and while I thought for sure I wouldn't need the full hours quoted, the customer service was right on with time frame and the number of guys needed. The gentlemen were professional and courteous, everything was wrapped and stacked in the truck carefully. It was so worth the cost to not make multiple trips or kill our backs moving heavy items. I would recommend Moving Ahead to others and would use them again if needed.
