+ 0 moreThis company always answered their phone and showed up on time! They did an amazing job. The inspector who came after the job was completed even complimented on the quality of their work. They cleaned up afterwards. I would definitely use them again!!

Description of Work: Willie came out today to replace my sensors which I damaged trying to fix them myself........................should have called D&D first so I could have saved the price of new sensors.Yjr service call was $89.00 and the parts were $42.00.Willie also programed my opener for me and programeed the opener in my car . I only call D&D!

+ -1 moreWe schedule a service appointment for between 3 and 5. They called at 5 to say he was running late and would be there at 5:30. They then called again at 6:30 to say he was still on another job. At that point, after leaving work early to wait for him, I canceled the appointment and booked service with a different company. Terrible first and last impression.
Description of Work: I put that they performed a service because they were supposed to but it didn't get that far, he never showed up.

+ -1 moreWhen I called, the person I spoke with was very knowledgable and discussed our options with me. The person took the time to explain all my options to me in a very courteous manner. The installer arrived promptly at the scheduled time and began to work. He did a very professional installation and cleaned everything up. Then, he explained everything he had done, and everything we needed to know about the operation of the doors. An entirely good experience all the way around. Highly Recommend!!!
Description of Work: Replaced both garage door opener mechanisms and all related equipment, provided three remotes, installed both indoor entry pads and outside entry panel.

They were a little late but the excellent work,service and price more then made up for being a few minutes late.I used their coupon and received a 10% discount so that was very good.Dand D is the only company that I will call from now on for a garage door concern! Description of Work: They responded the same day that I called them for service. Dave B. was the technician that made the call, He was a total professional and an absolute pleasure to deal with, He was efficient and very knowledgeable about his job. He took his time to explain everything that he was doing and exactly what I need to replace to ensure that the door functioned properly.He replaced both of the lift springs and after explaining to me the wear on the rollers as they were the originals from 10 years ago, I had Dave replace all of the rollers on the door also. I presented him a coupon from Angies List and after he called into the office he got me an even better price than I would have gotten had I used the coupon. He adjusted everything on the door , including the belt drive and now the door works perfectly. I would definitely use this company again and would request that Dave B. be the service tech to make the call~!!

My Garage Door works wonderfully, its was only a matter of remotes. I received a return call within 10- 15 minutes and I was walked through the troubleshooting process to reprogram everything. They were able to walk me through my problem in less time than it took to research the type of garage door online! I received a call when I was on my second Angie's list reference!

+ -1 moreThis company sent someone to my house and took measurements and pictures and informed me that someone would get back to me. 4 days later I hear from the person who took the measurements and was told that he would e-mail me a quote. This company wants 50% deposit and never discussed anything about what type of garage door I wanted. This was the worst experience I have every had from what I am told is a large company.
Description of Work: I called this company along with several others, I tried to made an appointment for an estimate and was told by Tom that someone would get back to me. I never received a call from anyone, so I called back the next day and spoke to Tom again, and asked him why no one called me, he said that he will call the office and that Will would be in contact with me. I spoke to Will and he set up the appointment and arrived on time and measured and took pictures of the inside of my garage, and then he told me that he would call these measurement in to the office and that someone would get back to me. I never heard back for this company until 4 days later and when I asked why it took so long, Will told me he was short handed and needed to hire someone. He also told me that this was a large company, but he was a small office located in Polk county. He was going to e-mail me a quote. I didn't quite understand how he could give me a quote when all he did was take measurements! He also wanted 50% deposit before starting the job! He never discussed what type of doors I wanted or whether I wanted insulation in these doors or windows, but he was sending me a quote. This was such a turn off.

Description of Work: Honored Angies List coupon for $35.00. DGD technician was professional, diagnosed the problem quickly, and repaired. He replaced the circuit board, and the door works great! A few weeks later, we called when we were having a problem with the door again. He promptly returned, and quickly found that cobwebs were in front of the door sensor. (a good lesson before you call professionals) There was no charge for this second visit, and didn't have to use our Angies coupon.

+ -1 moreIt went great. My door had not been working properly so I called around for estimates. The first estimate I got was for $829.99, and they tried to sell us all kind of parts etc. . I then called Dand D and asked for an estimate. Dennis came out the following Monday, as I called late Friday afternoon. He inspected the door and the opener and told me that I needed a new belt, and also told me that the liftmaster belts have a lifetime guarantee. I asked how much it would be to get the belt replaced and he said $79.99 for the service call and servicing the door. Wow what a difference in pricing, this just goes to show how imporatant is for everyone to get a second estimate. Dennis didn't have a belt with him so he returned and installed the belt, serviced the door and brought me a remote, all for $114.00. Dennis was professional and most importantly he was honest. Thank you Dand D and Dennis, keep up the honest work ethic. I will be sure to reccomend this comapny to everyone I know!

+ -1 moreIt's an excellent door and it's an excellent company. It has been 2 years and I had a little bit of a problem with the garage door; my son-in-law lost a clicker. I talked to them on a Saturday and they came out and did the work this afternoon at 3 O'clock. I am very much satisfied with their work. They fixed the problem for me. They added a keypad which takes care of the clicker if you don't have it and serviced the door for me. They were excellent. The door is terrific and I had no problem with it. The price was fair. I had an old steel door that wasn't working well so I called them. They came out and took the measurement and within 2 weeks they had the door functioning well. They charged less than I thought it would cost.
