Description of Work: I called this company when my a/c was not working, they diagnosed the problem to be electrical. I called my electrician out to help fix the problem, once he was done I still had no a/c. I called Action Air back, they came out again and diagnosed a second electrical problem, and tried to charge me another $69!

Description of Work: When the air conditioning fails and it is August in Florida, it gets mighty toasty in the house. Action Air, despite being very busy was at our home in a timely manner and repaired the problem. Would recommend this business to anyone in Tampa Bay area.

Description of Work: Replaced one of two central air conditioning systems. All aspects of the installation went well. The only glitch was that I originally asked the technician to quote a unit that matched my other air conditioner. Before installation, the service manager called me to tell me that the unit quoted was discontinued. He then recommended a higher efficiency unit. When we discussed specific model numbers, I realized that the higher efficiency model was in fact the match for my other air conditioner. It was more expensive, but we were able to agree on an acceptable price, and I wound up receiving the correct unit. The fact that the originally quoted unit was not available turned out to be a good thing, although it would have been very disappointing if not caught.

Description of Work: My inquiry was to any mold accumulating in the duct work. I was told that there was a small amount. Purchased a Light Air Purifier and a Sanitize of the duct work. I might have jumped the decision without further investigation, but what is done...is done. I did receive a re-spray of the Sanitize in the duct work which was a more detailed. They attempted to be sure I was happy with their service.

Description of Work: My HVAC was working but it was obviously not doing as well as it had in the past. It had frozen over once and on one day when there were a number of people over and a lot of cooking, the house became quite warm. I called them to ask for them to come over and service and inspect it and they gave me an appointment for 2 months later. I am sure that if I had said that I needed a new unit, they would have come right over, but I did not know that to be the case. I am sure they are very busy, but waiting 2 months to have a unit serviced is excessive.

Description of Work: Replaced two central air units, one upstairs, one downstairs. Estimators and people who did the work were very prompt, very professional. Did the work with as little disruption as possible. Very efficient. From the estimates I got, I found their pricing to be a little above average. But, I was impressed with their professionalism and knowledge so I went with them.

Description of Work: I had my old A/C System replaced in August 2011. The system to date works great and the crew that installed it did a very professional job. Recently I had a annual inspection and a A/C system Ultra Violate Light Filtering Unit installed. I am very pleased with the service that has been provided by Action Air Conditioning.

Description of Work: The serviceman was polite and fixed the AC/HVAC promptly. He recommended (but did not push) a new system. His reasoning seemed sound and I would be willing to use Action to replace this old system.
