"My Husband and I hired High Quality Cleaning Solutions three months after the birth of our Son. With the overwhelm of being a new Mom and my Husband being in a Wheelchair, I needed a little extra help in keeping up with the housework. We hired them to clean the entire home once every other week and remained with this company for a little over a year. It was quite rocky from the start. The cleanings were on a different day every other week and it was usually never the same two Women who would come to clean the house. This resulted in inconsistencies in the cleanings that would take place each time. We ended up favoring one specific Woman who was very kind and did a very thorough job on our home. I inquired with the owner about the prospects of having that specific Woman to come and clean our house more often. She informed me that she would try but scheduling sometimes would not allow that as many of her other clients liked this Woman as well. That specific Woman we really liked ended up not being available at all. At that time, my Husband and I had considered discontinuing High Quality cleaning solutions to look into other companies. We expressed that our needs were not being met and that the scheduling and different sets of cleaners was frustrating and that we would prefer morning cleanings as to be able to have the evenings to ourselves. The owner offered to have her Mom come and do our cleanings as her Mom worked alone and could come every other Monday in the morning. We thought this might be a viable solution to our needs. From there on, the cleanings were pretty consistent but there were things that were often times missed and with us investing to have the house cleaned, we wanted to make sure that we were getting the most out of our investment. Many times we noticed our Sons handprints were left on the two large glass doors in our living room area in addition to the other glass pieces of the furniture - to include our glass coffee table. I reached out to the owner to make sure that these areas could get the attention every cleaning. This was not received well as the owner called me and expressed that she found it very unusual that her Mom would miss something like that and that her Mom is a very good cleaner. I felt that this was very confrontational and as a client, it left me feeling like our expectations were highly unrealistic and that I was being dishonest. She then said she would make sure her Mom would clean the glass areas but that they do NOT clean the exterior glass of the door. So, the interior glass would be cleaned of fingerprints and I would have to go back to clean any prints on the outside of the glass after her Mom would leave. I started to notice streak marks on the pictures hanging on our walls. It looked as if a micro fiber was dipped in the mop water bucket was used to wipe down the frames and glass, which left water streaks. This was also noticeable on some furniture as well. I would have to go back and clean our hanging pictures and wipe the streaks from the furniture. I messaged the owner and reiterated which cleaning products I wanted used on the furniture - which was discussed during our initial walk through of our home when we hired her. I also started to notice stain lines in our toilet bowls from where the toilet bowl cleaner was applied and left to run down and then never scrubbed out. We had to use CLR a few times to try and remove the stains from the bowl. I noticed the mop water bucket in which she used all over the home was dumbed into our kitchen sink following the cleanings - which was leaving gunk in the sink stops. I feel this defeated the purpose of her having scrubbed out the kitchen sinks only to dump the dirty mop water down our clean kitchen sink rather than the toilet. One of the most frustrating things my Husband and I experienced was that when we'd reach out to the owner, which was always through text, we would almost never get a response back. I'd give her ample time of at least a day or two to respond before having to follow up with a text to make sure she received my message regarding the cleanings. I found this highly unprofessional. We also did not like the payment method. Many companies have gone online and we prefer this type of method. High Quality does not offer this. We would write out a check for her Mother to take each cleaning. The owner made it very clear that we were to put the check in an envelope because she did not want her Mother to see how much she quoted us to pay - which made us feel uncomfortable. A few times we were asked by the Mom if a day could be switched or if she could come later in the evening. With a very busy schedule, sometimes this would allow us to do this. In the end, the Mom decided to quit cleaning our home because she thought it was unfair that we could not commit to have her come and clean our home on a day in which we thought would be ok prior. In the end it was still THEIR schedule issues that continued to pose problems for us as the clients. The owner still had the audacity to offer other people to come and clean our home after expressing that her Mom thought we were being unfair and inconsiderate of her personal needs. Working with High Quality Cleaning Solutions was less than satisfactory and we realize that we should have discontinued their services earlier on."
