wanted 200.00 to come out on a weekend, not including parts or repairs. Came out the first time everything went fine. Had to order a part. Scheduled another time for them to come out to install. Day of the appointment, no one ever showed up. No call. No apology. Nothing. A real inconvience we have to wait untill Monday to call.

They did what we needed them to do.

He was running late - but called to let me know when he would arrive. cleaned the coils and checked the system. Advised me I would need a new system in the not too distant future... I also asked him about ways to quiet the return vent - bit noisy. he suggested I change out the vent cover and that solved the noise problem! Very happy

They're great. I like their customer service. They have quick response and good customer service. They do quality work.

Patrick Barineau and his crew had some very challenging circumstances and obstacles to overcome but did an outstanding job in all aspects. Ben arrived on time giving us a call first. He was friendly, professional and very helpful. He fixed the A/c and gave us advice on future replacement of the unit since it is getting old. I will recommend this company to others without hesitation. I also felt the price was fair.

The crew worked very hard all day. I noticed the AC wasn't working after they left. Their service person, Tyler Payne, made a late night call, one in several on his list in far-reaching areas of the county, to fix the problem. The system, being brand new needed a little tweaking according to Tyler. Tyler did a great job, and I had plenty of cold, quiet air for the first time this summer. Barineau stands behind their work and true to their advertising, makes good on work they have performed. I would recommend taking advantage of their service policy, which more than pays for itself. I regret having had this company repair one part after another on the eight year old AC system since I purchased the home less than a year ago. It was a faulty system put in by another company the builder had used. Carrier zones, for instance, are known to be trouble by AC repairmen. As a result of failed parts, I threw away thousands of dollars replacing a coil, the tray, a heat strip, etc. I had hoped to spare myself the cost of a new AC when the system was to my thinking not that old. Had I been advised by this company, I would have replaced the system right away and saved myself a lot of aggravation and expense. Unfortunately, AC systems today are not built to last. I hope someone reading this will carefully consider their options when repairs are needed. Get a trusted company to fully evaluate your system before you throw good money after bad.

Efficient, informative, examined thermostsat, outside unit, return air vent and filter...

A/C stopped working overnight, was 86 degrees in the house today, projected to hit 100 outside. I called repair company I had used previously and was told they could fit me in ON SUNDAY!!! I have children and pets, no way, told them no thanks. Called Barineau at 8 am, and Barineau was here by 9:30! They diagnosed, fixed, and were gone by 10:30. AND most importantly, my house is wonderfully cool again. I will call these guys again for sure - in fact, I called after they left to brag on their excellent customer service.

Price was very competitive. Service was excellent. They did err on one part of the job, but when the mistake was discovered, they fixed it promptly and without complaint

We were very pleased with the service and the knowledge of the Representative.

We had a service contract with Barineau for the last year. The system never performed properly since the initial tune up. We had several calls for service where we had to pay $78 per diagnosis. Then we were charged outrageous fees for replacement parts. We were quoted $420 to replace 3 standard electrical breakers. We were charged $300 to replace a capacitor that retails for about $20 in store. A technician came out to check on the system when it wouldn't come on. Found that the drain pan was full and tried to flush the drain line the leads out of the house. He was unsuccessful and told us that he would need to install a new drain line for almost $700. I went to the hardware store and got a $7 corkscrew pipe snake and removed the block from the end of the drain line outside the house. The system immediately drained and return to working condition. The system however never ran like it did the previous year. The air was cold enough to cool the house but ran almost constantly. We had a tech come out to look at it and he said we had a bad high pressure switch. He wanted to replace the switch for $1000. I had him just bypass it for now to allow the system to run while we got another quote. The technician came back out to do our final service and informed us that we were out of refrigerant. He performed a leak test for $118 and found that we had 3 pinhole leaks in the evaporator coil and that's why the system hadn't been working well. He gave us the option to replace the coil for $3000 or replace the whole system for 5000-8000. We ended up getting a new system from a better company in town and are now on contract with them. I will never use or refer anyone to Barineau.

They came out that day and within minutes determined it was just a clogged drain pan pipe. They cleaned it out, checked the rest of the system, and were good to go.

It went great, and the speed and professionalism during my estimate period, as well as while the work was being done was amazing.

We cancelled the sales visit.

I got 3 estimates and choose Barineau based on the knowledge displayed by Grady, the gentlemen that did the estimate. He noted several things about our existing system including the professional work on our duct system, he did however notice (and I had suspected) that our return air was too small which they corrected with an extra return. They arrived on time and removed the old system and installed the new system in less than a day. They were all very professional and respectful of our home and left it exactly as they found it. I gave them a B for price only because they were a little higher than the other bidders but in reality the extra work they performed including replacing all the copper lines ,adding the return air (none of the others discussed) and a 4 in inline filter system made them a much better value and I would not hesitate to recommend them in the future Thanks Guys!

I can't say enough good things about Barineau. Everyone was curtious, and generally on time as promised. We had rain hold us up and had to reschedule when we were to start. They were honest enough to not do the work while it was raining as it could have compromised the system. The lake house location is in a semi-remote location so it meant additonal travel time for them. We appreciated that they really seemed to care about their work and reputation and it showed. They were respectful of us and the lake house. They were clean and neat in what they did, and always asked if there was anything else we needed. Most of the workers had been with the company for some time. I wish that I remembered all of their names. I wrote them down, but the info is at the lake house and not here in town with me now. I do remember one of them was George Dunn. This guy is great!! He even gave me his personal cell phone number if I needed him. And, he returned a few days after the job was finished to make a final check of everything. There are no complaints at all. Due to some family circumstances the lake house has not been used much this year, but when it is everything seems to be working perfectly. It's not often that I see a large company like this that cares so much, and I feel very fortunate to have had them do the work. We ended up buying a less expensive unit, but got the 10 year coverage policy. I feel confident that should we ever need them, they would be right there.

This is a great company. They did a good job and were cheaper than two competitors who I also got estimates from. They replaced our upstairs unit three years ago and I was happy to be able to use them again.

Looked up the company on Angie's List. They came out and took a look at it and then replaced the capacitor. The price was a little bit steep but fair.

Everything went great.They were right on time. After inspecting the ducts I was shown pictures from the mans cell phone showing me they were clean and didn't need any work. He did notice the thermestat was right under a cool air vent and it should be moved to get an accurate reading for our temperature. I also wanted to get the dryer vent cleaned. I was told it would be cheaper to put a seperate air-conditioning unit upstairs in the bonus room than have all the work done to change the duct,etc. Patrick arranged to have his Bob come back later the same day and move the thermistat and clean the dryer duct. It was done and overwith the same day. Everyone was nice.

Our old system was dying quickly needing freon and assorted parts to keep going. After recieving 3 quotes for replacement we chose Barineau based on the design, equipment, and then price. They were not the lowest bid, however they had a complete plan to make the installation complete. Initially they repaired the old unit to keep it going until they were able to get us on the schedule, and get permits. When the installation started they provided spot coolers for the house so that we could continue to live in the house and be comfortable. The installation went as scheduled with the complete job being done in 4 days, The invoice was exactly what was quoted and had no surprises. The system itself is performing perfectly with no hot spots in the house like it was in the past, and so much quieter than before. Thank you guys for a great job Chris Markham
