Called for estimate, they accomodated me by next day. They called half an hour prior to arrival. Scott came looked at the problem and called his office to get information on the parts, approximate time of delivery of parts and approximate time when they can return and fix/replace the broken parts. This experience was fast, smooth, well informed plan of fix. My washing machine was fixed in no time. I like that. The company was professional. Truly someone you can trust and not wonder "are they call back soon?" They also honored the discount coupon they advertise which was a help with the expense. But I was able to move on to my "to do" list quicker when problems get taken care in this manner.

My washing machine would not drain the water from the rinse cycle. I called Gunn Appliance on a SUNDAY and got an answer! I was expecting a machine. He scheduled an appointment for the next business day. The service tech called to tell me he was on his way and arrived promptly 10 minutes later. He knew immediately what was wrong and repaired it on the spot. He was in and out in 10-15 minutes. Excellent service and a very nice and professional service tech.

Tech came out the same day I called for service. I told him our top oven did not seem to be heating properly, however the bottom unit was. He explained it could be caused by a couple of issues but after inspecting the probe he said he was 90 percent sure that was the problem (pointed out how discolored the probe was compared to the one in the lower oven). He further explained that the manufacturer recommends replacing the control board when replacing the probe but he didn't agree with that. He quoted the job for the probe and labor and stated that after installing it if the problem persisted he would come back out and replace the board (cost of the board only with no additional service charge). When the part came in he called and came out that afternoon to install it. Oven works fine with no additional work needed.

I called this morning and spoke to Thomas who set up an appointment time within a couple of hours. He explained the policy regarding service calls and repairs and associated costs. He was professional and friendly. Scott came out at the appointed time and diagnosed the problem within seconds. He replaced the thermostat, hose, and cleaned the dryer vent. He patiently answered all my questions (I ask A LOT of questions). I was very happy to hear that my dryer should last another 10 years as I was mentally prepared to have to go out and buy a new one soon. He completed the work in less than an hour, and left everything neat and clean. Scott told me that the only way to really know if it was fixed was to dry clothes. He suggested I do that, and if anything was wrong to call him back. I ran 2 loads and the dryer works perfectly. I feel I was treated fairly and honestly and got a good bargain. I appreciated the courtesy, friendliness and professionalism of both Thomas and Scott. While I hope not to need their services anytime soon, I will not hesitate to call Gunn if I need any large appliance repaired.

Called and made an appointment, was happily surprised that their service charge was almost 1/2 as much as other service companies I had called. The technician called promptly in the morning to say when he would be arriving at the house. When he arrived he quickly started diagnosing the problem, even went the extra mile to call the manufacturer while he was troubleshooting our problem. He definitely went the extra mile, making sure we understood exactly what the problem was, and then fixed it on the spot. Was very knowledgeable and courteous, and will definitely be using them again for any appliance service we will need.

All the parts did not come in when expected, but came in the next day and an appointment was made for the repair to be done first thing the following day! The repair man was here when he said he would be and the company calls to let you know he is on his way and how long it will take him to get to your home.

serviceman(scott) showed up on time , recognized the problem, fixed it. he was polite and knowledgeable. would recommend them highly!!

The service was fabulous, wonderful and perfect. I called him the day before and I said I was having a problem but when I came home from work the problem was resolved. I called him to tell that and he said that it's okay, no problem and I'll just call him if there was any problem. I called him the next morning when the refrigerator is not working and he came out immediately. He knew immediately what the problem was. He was quick and efficient. The price was reasonable. I was happy with all of it. He overcharge even if it was done in a weekend. It was a great experience.

Okay there was good news and bad news. The bad news was I have had two appliances fail on me in one month. The good news is that GUNN Appliance gave me a great price to fix my washing machine as they were here a coupe of weeks to fix my dishwasher and as a loyal customer gave me a deal.. And talk about fast. The washing machine broke this afternoon. I called GUNN at 4PM. They were here at 6PM, had the part on the truck, and I was back up and running a half hour later. Fast service, good price, it doesn't get better than that. I run my own business and know that in a competitve field you can only compete on price so much. The thing that separates one company from another is customer service. I have hired GUNN three times in the past couple of months and all three times they were fast, friendly, and professional. Now that all my appliances are getting up there in age, I keep GUNN's phone number handy and don't bother calling anyone else. I'm sure there are other great companies on Angie's List but when you find someone good who you trust you stick with them.

He was very efficient, explained what he was doing, and cleaned up after the job was finished.

Very prompt, very professional. The technician called before he arrived, just as the office promised he would. He arrived on time and assessed the problem and came back a few days later after the new part arrived (new door latch on a washing machine). I also needed my washer and dryer swapped since the original placement (not done by Gunn) was not completed properly. All was completed, quickly and efficiently with a great sense of humor, too! I would definitely recommend Gunn Appliance Service!

Called the company on 2/28/13 at 4 PM. Service was scheduled for the next day. The serviceman actually came a few minutes early.

I contacted them on Tuesday afternoon after reviewing them on Angie's list and they were ready to come out the same day, no one was at home at the time so I scheduled it for Wednesday. They showed up when they said they would and provided a quick assessment, and repaire

We have a condo that we rent out and we received a call from our tenant that the washing machine was locked and making a funny noise while it tried to fill with water. I actually called Abbott Appliance first and was told they do not fix 24" stackle washing machines, so I moved down the Angie's List to Gunn Appliance. I called around 1:00pm on a Friday and they were out there that afternoon. I was called with the diagnosis and told a part would need to be ordered. They wouldn't know the cost until they looked up the cost of the part. I spoke with them on Monday and was given the price and told them to proceed. They received the part the next day, contacted my tenant, and it was fixed by the end of that day, for the price I was quoted. I was very impressed with the speed of the service. I called on Friday afternoon, and even with having to order a part, the entire problem was taken care of by the end of the day Tuesday. I have priced around since, and found the price I paid to be a bit high, but I was happy because of how quickly everything was taken care of.

He was professional and knew immediately what was wrong. He was also able to repair a dishwasher issue that others failed to fix.

Called and and placed work order first thing in the morning and they responded within 2 hours. Parts were available and the repair was completed during their visit.

Just moved into a house with a 4 year old Maytag washer. It filled with water and stopped. Called Gunn via Angie's list and they had someone call within 15 minutes who was in the neighborhood. Arrived 15 minutes later and quickly found the problem and repaired. Total time from call to completion - less than an hour. Price was a little higher than expected but well worth it to have the problem fixed immediately. Repairman was knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely use them again.

Replaced computer board. Was prompt and personable.

.Everything went smoothly. Scott was professional and explained what was wrong and what to expect. He also cleaned up any remaining water on the floor.

Came promptly on same day I called. Explained what was wrong (which we knew from another repair person). Recommended replacement of part, but suggested not replacing a related part that might not be bad. Suggested we try the first part and if it continued to work for a day or more, the other part did not need to be replaced. The part he replaced worked perfectly, so there was no need to call him back for the second part.

I will never call them again!!

Person answering the phone was courteous and helpful. A repairman was prompt and quickly assessed the problem. The dryer was repaired in less than 30 minutes.

Technician had an Ice Maker that was identicakl to the one in my refrigerator and he used the spare to see how the parts fit since something had gotten stuck in the freezer and caused parts of the ice maker to come loose. Technician was able to repair Ice Maker in the freezer without replacing it and only charged for a service call. I was very pleased with his work and his attitude.

After an awful experience with past GE service on my Monogram All Freezer & Refrigerator units I decided to join Angie?s list and see if all the excitement from members on TV finding competent and capable service companies was true. I can now say a resounding ?YES?. I called Gunn Appliance on a Monday to setup an appointment for Friday (my day off). I was setup for between 9 and 11 AM. On Friday at 9:02 I was called by Scott and said he was on his way. Scott was very nice, polite and personable. He took the time to explain the problem and how he was going to fix it; also what I could do in the future if it should happen again. This was the best experience I have had with a service/repair company and the tech since I have moved to South Florida. I will be calling on Gunn Appliance for all my repair needs. Thank you Scott.

Called at 8:15AM they were at the door at 9:15AM and a half hour later the fridge was up and running. They could have replaced several parts all at once but explained that multiple parts failing at once is rare and replaced the obvious cause of the problem which was a burned out defroster heater. Scott told me that if the fridge was not still operating normally by this afternoon he would come out again w/o charging for a separate service call and replace the other part that goes bad in these models which is the computer that controls the defrost cycles. These folks are prompt, friendly, and honest. What more can you ask for? Highly recommended.
