I spent about $75 on that work. They finished the work in about 30 minutes, which was fairly quick and I had no problems after that. I think that they are an 'A' one company. My mother used them to install an air-conditioner in July.

Showed up right on time. Very thorough in his work and made some good suggestions for improved performance. Highly recommended.

I have used Ferran for electrical problems, and have no complaints, they were great. The lady who answered the phone listened to my problem, got a technician on the line, and they were at the job the next day. But in dealing with there A/C department at Ferran, I felt like a number, since this was a rental I was not there when they showed up, I didn't get call backs with an explanation, just an automatic deduction from my credit card that they were there. I had the hardest time getting a call in to the tech that was at the property, and when he did tell me what else would need to be done to repair the problem he didn't get detailed. This was a complete outside A/C and Heat unit, where the duck work went from the unit into the block wall. The tech gave me a quote of about 400 or 500 but what did that cover, new duck board all the way around, with new metal all the way around, or was that just patching the leak. I did not use them to complete the job, because like I said, I felt as if I was a number.

Both experiences went well and as you can see I was a repeat customer.

Very friendly and knowledgeable technician. I also had him look at some wiring issues on my screen porch fan. He sent me a very reasonable estimate which I plan to have performed soon.

Ferran has been our "go to" company for HVAC services for 2 years now. Why? 1)They have service available nights and weekends. 2) IF you have a senior citizen living in the home your name goes to the top of the list for service, 3) they give a "senior discount" off their bill and 4) every tech that we have had visit our hope has been pleasant, professional and experienced. They have all had over 20 years in the business.

"Jim" Adams came to my house at the time and date we agreed upon. He inquired as exactly what I wanted done. He inspected the site, asked appropriate questions, and said that a proposal would be forth coming. I received a quote on the same day, and we agreed on a date/time to do the work. The technicial arrived on the date we agreed upon, and was actually 10 minutes early. He inquired as th where I wanted the boxes placed, and proceeded to do the work. When he had finished the installation, he borrowed a broom to clean up the site ... and then in order to check out the installation, actually tore down and cleaned the carburetor on the power unit. Certainly outside the scope of that which I had contracted for. He then checked the installation and ascertained that the power could be switched from commercial power to my generator power.

We wanted to connect our portable 5500 watt power generator to the house to power the refrigerator, a small AC/air handler, hot water heater and a couple other circuits in case of power outage. Ferran explained how the electrical code requires a power transfer switch in order to prevent back feed to the lines and prevent OUC worker injuries. I verified with local OUC engineer. Our house has two separate electrical panels and the circuits we selected were from both panels. Ferran installed a third panel with the manual switch inside. When the electricity goes out we can flip the switch, turn on the portable generator, plug in the generator into the installed plug and power up our selected circuits. The juice only goes to those individual circuits and will not back feed into the other panels or into the grid. Kenny was great. He took the time to explain to my wife how it worked and detailed out the easy steps. He performed the steps including turning on the generator. He showed her how to work the generator and get the house onto auxillary power. He also verified with us how our generator could not handle both the AC and hot water at the same time. So we will cool our room separately from heating the water by working the circuits in the new third panel - basically, when we want the hot water heater we'll turn off the other circuits in the panel. When we want to cool the room with AC we'll turn off the hot water breaker. We had a very good experience with Ferran. We received other estimates with varying degrees of prices and suggestions. We went with Ferran as the low cost estimate and with what I believed to be the highest level of service. Jim in the office listened to what I wanted to do and immediately got it. I am the type of person that has a lot of questions and then have follow up questions and then just a couple more questions. Jim answered everything and told me how it should be done. After making several calls to OUC and speaking to one of their field engineers, I felt most comfortable with the solution Ferran provided.

I went to them because I don?t think they give commissions to the technicians that make money on sales. That was the problem with the last provider, and every time he came, he would find something wrong. The person from Ferran who came out seemed very well qualified, and he explained a lot of things to me. I called him in the morning and he was here in the afternoon, and he called me before he could come out. I was very satisfied with their services.

(Please see above) The technicians were friendly, knowledgeable, fair, and willing to explain each step of the process as well as gave pointers on preventative maintenance on the new water heater.

The sealing went very well. The technician arrived on time and confirmed what work was to be accomplished. As he was preparing the sealant, we discussed the sealant fumes. He stated that as the sealent dried, the fumes would disappear and that it would be dry within a few hours. The technician used proper resperatory protection (and clothing protection also) while in the attic. He used his own ladder to enter the attic and I could hear him working in all parts of the attic. It took him under 1 hour to accomplish the work. He cleaned up after himself (some insulation stuck to his clothing) and he accepted payment and provided a receipt. The fumes, with a slightly sweet odor, did disappear by the afternoon. I ran my air conditioner and didn't notice any residual fumes.

The technician was punctual and set up for a pressure test in the front door. He made sure none of my cats got out as he was installing/disassembling the door equipment. He then used his own ladder to climb into the attic. He used proper resperatory protection while in the attic. His inspection took less than 30 minutes and I could hear him in all parts of the attic. Upon his return, he throughly discussed his findings concerning the air conditioning ducts (luckily, no holes were found!). He recommended that the ducts be sealed and provided the estimate for the sealing, taking into account the Progress Energy Incentive.

Although I was embarrassed by my lack of foresight. I can't slight Ferran's representative. He was professional and helpful.

An energy company paid $150 and we paid $155 to Ferran through the energy company's energy management program. The energy company inspected the ducts and recommended repairs to help save money and energy. We had a choice of a couple companies, and we chose Ferran because of their reputation. Mike and Pedro were very friendly and professional, and were great at cleaning up any mess they made.

They installed my hot water heater 4 years ago and my thermostats were going out. So they ordered new thermostats and installed them for me. Parts were under warranty and labor was $84.00. I am very satisfied with their work.

The experience was very good with them. They were on time and they worked quickly which I appreciated because he charges every fifteen minutes. He checked the outlet that someone else had fixed even though I didn't ask him to.

The company was very prompt and filled my request the same day. I called early in the morning, they said a tech would be out after lunch and he was at our home by 1:30 pm. They called several times to let me know his whereabouts and give me time estimates, (I really appreciate this approach vs. the 1-5 window). He was professional and courtesy to our children and pets. Great work!

Both electricians were polite and did everything they could to get everything working properly. They were polite, clean and efficient and I would certainly use them again if the need arises.

I always ask for Grant Gengler. He installed a hanging fixture. He has also put in all kinds of lighting fixtures. Also, they rebuilt my electrical box. Also some re-wiring work. He shows up when he's supposed to and does a good job. Price reflects 3 fixtures.

This is really a great company. Their price is very competitive and they do excellent work. He even showed me things I can do as a home owner to maintain my units, and them last longer.

They do all A/C, electric and plumbing work. They are very punctual. I had them come out and replace an A/C Unit early this summer. They come in, do the work that they need to and leave quickly. I would highly recommend them to others.

He called me to see if it would be alright if he came a little early. Serviced the a/c. Washed it and changed the filter. Very good. Courteous, kind and professional.
