Description of Work: Excellent service, found problem right away, replaced contactor, and did thorough analysis of system.

Description of Work: I chose the AC System Service and Diagnostic special as I needed to confirm a "leak" in the evaporator coil diagnosed by another company (not on Angie's List). I spoke with Certified Climate Control prior to ordering/scheduling & explained my problem and was informed that I should choose the above mentioned special. They were extremely helpful, polite, patient and professional. They even gave me a quote over the phone to repair the evaporator coil should that be the problem. The service tech came, on time, explained everything, found things wrong we were not aware of, offered suggestions on how to increase the efficiency of the ac unit...and did not try to up sell us anything. I did not get a definitive answer as to the coil leak but, the unit did not need any freon and has been working fine ever since Certified looked at it. So, I am very satisfied with them and will call them when I need my yearly maintenance performed.

Description of Work: I don't like to give bad reviews, and I will start with everyone was very nice, punctual and professional. However, we had the Angie's List special of AC tuneup for $49. The gent that came out, seemed knowledgeable and talked us into a slight upgrade for an additional $, but said all was good. Two weeks later our AC went out, we called them back (which they came out immediately) and said we had a fast freon leak,but insisted it had nothing to do with the other visit. This visit cost us around $200. They recommended a two step process to find the leak. I was hesitant to use them, but had them come back to do a search for the leak for another $200, but since they couldn't find anything, they said I needed an additional search for another $300. I refused to give them any more money, and was told I would be out of freon within days. It's November, and it's all good. I did have a power surge in September and had another AC company come out, it turned out to be a breaker that they charged me around $50 (they could have told me I needed a new unit for all I knew) They also did another check of the unit and they said all was good. I am not insinuating that this is a practice they do all the time, but in my situation, this is what happened.

Description of Work: Tune up of system went great. Found some parts that needed to be replaced but did not replace until throughly explained what was wrong. Made no attempt to replace anything that was not obviously broken. It was a pleasant experience and work performed by professionals.

Description of Work: Service Tech arrived right on time and immediately identified the problem. He located a small freon leak and, after waiting for a small thunderstorm to pass, he repaired it quickly and effectively. After recharging the system he checked the operation and found the system functioning properly. He was pleasant, personable, very knowledgeable and very professional. I will definitely use Certified Climate Control and would recommend them to anyone needing air conditioning service.

Description of Work: Very thorough and realistic analysis done of the system. Very experienced tech gave clear, plain English explanations of all the issues. Provided photographs to back up the things he was saying. I was very pleased with Dan, though less so with my A/C system.

Description of Work: Certified Climate Control came out to do a tune-up, and had to replace something to make the unit work properly. It was expensive, but the AC wasn't working properly, and they did a good job of repairing it.
