Gulf Coast Roofing was knowledgeable and competent. They started the job when they said they would and completed the job quickly and efficiently. Our old roof was removed in just a day. They used the latest in roofing equipment. They covered and protected our driveway and lanai. Each day they left the job area spotless. They answered all our questions and were professional in every way. We did have an issue with one of the salesmen who was rude to us, but the owners addressed the matter satisfactorily. I definitely would recommend them.

"Mr. [Member Name Removed], we are very sorry for the delay in completing your roof repair. Obviously with the widespread and extensive damage that many people had after Hurricane Irma we were overwhelmed and doing the best we could to keep up. Our company had to shut down one week before the storm to prepare our building and families homes, then we were out of commission for about 1-2 weeks after the storm trying to get operational again and waiting for the employees who evacuated to return back home and get their lives in order. We wish we had more employees to help everyone out and could do more to keep all of our customers happy, but that is a monumental task after this massive hurricane. We did complete the repair you contracted us for and hope you are happy with the service we were able to provide you even though it was weeks after the original date we gave you. This storm has not made our jobs any easier and we hope you can forgive us for not giving you the kind of service we are know for. thank you for your understanding and business."

I had eight quotes for the job. I also researched the different ways a roof was installed and looked up regulations for this area. Gulf Coast was not the cheapest or the highest, but they did convince me that they were the best for the job...and, they were. Once the contract was signed they didn't neglect me (as I have heard that others do), work was done on time, workers were clean and neat. No bad language or super loud music. My plants were not crushed and my home was not damaged in anyway.

The service and quality were excellent! They exceeded our expectations. We researched over 6 local roofers to tear off and replace our old tile roof. After receiving multiple quotes and recommendations we went with Kevin at Gulf Coast Roofing. He was easy to work with, returned my calls promptly, answered my questions (even the stupid ones), and made great suggestions that supported our lifestyle and our budget. I was wowed when the crew came out promptly to tear off the old tile. Unlike the other roofing contractors in the neighborhood, they completely covered my driveway to prevent cracking and placed boards over every window and tarp all around the house to protect my plants and catch nails and materials. I've seen other roofers in the neighborhood ignore these steps and only cover the garage where the debris was being removed. I was really impressed! My neighbor had a dumpster in her drive for a week. Gulf Coast brought their truck in and it was gone the same day. They also cleaned everything up at the end of the day. It looked like no one was even there! Their roofing team skillfully made several repairs to the roofing underlayment and rebuilt a few areas with wood rot. They were courteous and efficient. The tile goes on next week. I can't wait.

My neighbor had problems with them. I would probably look for someone else. 

You could try and see how it goes with them. I was ok with them. They did a good job, but their were some issues with them. They haven't finished the gutters, they were leaking.

"We are sorry your "neighbor" had problems with us. If they would like to give us a call we would be happy to see how we can resolve the problem. We do NOT do work on gutters, so we wonder if you have the correct company for your neighbors job. We do like Angies list to help improve how we can take care of customers and help them find reputable companies. However since we have no record of working for you and can only find that GULF [Member Information Removed] roofing has done work for properties owned by you or your neighbors on [Member Information Removed] in Naples we strongly believe this review is not for the correct company. In short, if this is an actual review for an actual customer please contact us so we can resolve the problem ASAP(please ask for an owner and i will get this handled right away) , if you are mistaken with the company who did the work(gulf [Member Information Removed]?) then it would be great for Angies List to confirm this and get the negative comments off of our page. There were two techinicians, Miguel and Gustafo. They were very professional and explained everything they were doing. They finished the job pretty fast. I appreciate them cleaning up after they finished. I would use them again and recommend them.

After an in-depth review/investigation (5 companies) we selected Gulf Coast because of the following reasons: 1. They were very responsive on all of our questions 2. Their scope of work of very detailed 3. They were the only roofer that did forming instead of nailing of the tiles 4. Their pricing was in line with the other roofers even though forming is much more expensive 5. Their workers were experienced (many worked for Gulf Coast 10+ or more years) 6. They had lots of Angie reviews and all were very positive. The others has few reviews and half were not good. 7. We had some problems with the tile manufacturer (Entegra), however Gulf Coast went above and beyond to make-up for the manufacturer's problems. 8. Lastly, the salesperson (Mark Thornton) was excellent. Very experienced (30 years with Gulf Coast) and really knew his stuff.

Best service by a roofer ever.  Called for an estimate, emailed my architectual plans and got an estimate within a couple of days.  They were among the top three on Angie's List, they were fast, easy to work with, quality service and the best price by a long shot.  The new roof was framed on a Sunday, Monday was a Holiday and Tuesday it was supposed to rain in the evening.  I had to get paper installed to avoid my new roof from getting wet on the inside.  I called Gulf Coast Roofing on Tuesday morning requesting that they paper the roof asap and by that afternoon they had a crew papering my roof.  That evening it rained but there were no leaks and everything was dry inside.  That is service!  Thank you Gulf Coast Roofing!

It was terrific. I was previously quoted by another company that I would need to pay over a thousand dollars for repairs. Gulf Coast came out, and the gentleman said there was nothing wrong with my roof. A big thank you to him. He's an honorable person.
