I wasn't really thrilled with the service. They charged me $5 more to put in a stake to hold up one of the sprinklers. One of the things I'm having difficulties with is that a lot of the companies put in ads and things like that to basically get more money, but he didn't do that. The man who came to check the sprinkler system was very pleasant and quite a gentleman, but I believe he did not give me an accurate evaluation of the sprinkler problems. I had to go and get another company to fix a few sprinklers that were not covering the area they were supposed to, but I was not told about these problems with the sprinklers by Active Environmental.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were great. I spent a little more than the deal.

We were very satsified, they did well. We had some extra charges for the sprinkler that needed to be replaced. I would refer them, they were very helpful, talkative and knowledgeable.

He was punctual and professional. He checked all of the sprinkler heads and also the control panel. He was very thorough. He also provided me some advice about the timing to water my lawn and how to keep my lawn in good condition.

Dan and Brian checked each zone and sprinkler for performance. Made several adjustments and re-programmed the timer box. For an additional $5.00 they repaired a broken line at the rear of the home that I was not aware of. They had found it with a pressure test, that I can't do. Restored the zone affected back to normal. Very courteous and professional, no sales pitch for additional work. Will definitely recommend them to others, and will use the company again for a yearly check-up or when repairs are needed without hesitation. Wish all companies were this good!

It was excellent. The tech's name was Justin and he showed me how to use the timer box, and adjusted all the heads that needed adjusting.

I thought they would have done a tune up and cleaned the sprinkler. The sprinklers were already working before they got here. I also bought some extensions to make the sprinklers higher.

They came for a tune up. Could not do much other then schedule another appointment to repair some minor problems and remove some sprinklers. I received a quote and confirmed, assuming they would schedule an appointment. They just show up and do the work, of course, it was some one else from the company trying to fulfill the work order as written. I beleive there will always be a problem there, since the guy does not know what exactly was needed and the work order is not detailed enough. Also the fact they show up with out giving the owner to way in, does not help the bottom line. Any way, they came 2-3 times more, fixing there work, adding work requested, same problems every time. I was also dissapointed when they remove sprinklers or any equipment they throw it away, rather giving the owner to decide for himself. end of the day, Ipaid them in full nearly $350. very dissapointed with nearly any task they performed. should have buried 1 electrical irrigation wire - did not. a new short pipe with sprinkler was placed an inch below ground - a few weeks later - fully exposed and above ground. right after they began work, computer went bad - might not be related, had to replace myself. One of the problems was, the tech decided to relocate the desired sprinkler completely since there was a root!!!?? No phone call to discuss options, come on! they had to come back but did a lousy job then too. Would not use them again.

The service was great. The service provider replaced broken sprinkler heads at no cost. I had just had the patio extended and sprinklers were watering the patio. I asked about redesigning the irrigation system to just hit grass. The provider suggested alternative of resetting sprinkler range of motion - which is not a perfect solution, but was much better given the cost of setting up a new system.

Active Environmental called me within the hour after I clicked the 'buy this deal' on Angie's List. How nice was that! We set up an appointment date and the rep showed up on time. Rep was knowledgeable and ran tests on the complete irrigation system. Found a broken sprinkler head and fixed it promptly. I was wondering if my lawn was getting the water it needed and if the sprinklers were hitting the right spots. Now I know they are. This company has it together and knows customer service is vital. Recommended.

Had and appointment for an estimate and received phone call that person hada major personal problen and hoped that I would reschedule, tried to reschedule but no response from contractor.

Provider was very responsive and came out and performed the work at the time quoted.

Was really looking forward to having our rain sensor tested, like the deal package stated, however was told by the tech that they can't test rain sensors!. Other than this, the appointment went very well. He was very friendly, very professional, and a real pleasure to meet.

They arrived on time and performed the job. They even discouraged me from buying additional services that they didn't feel I really needed eventhough they would have made money on doing those services. I would use this company again and reccomend them to friends and family.

.Not long after signing up for the Big Deal I received a call to set up an appointment time. The serviceman was right on time, did the job efficiently, and answered questions I had. I would call them again should I have future problems.

This was an offer made through Angie's List for sprinkler inspection and repair. Upon paying for the service via computer I attempted to contact the company via phone. Got answering machine and I left a message. Was told would be contact within one business day. Three days later, nothing, so I called again, got answering machine and left another message. Same thing, still no contact. Finally I email a message and was contacted the same day. Was told that my messages were not received and they apologized sincerely. No one knows what the problem was but the fact that they responded to my email almost immediately I believe that they did not get my messages. Appointment was made and service man arrived on time. He did a very thorough job of checking out our sprinkling system and making adjustments to the sprinkler heads. He also adjusted our timer for the best times to have the system come on. The service person explained everything in detail and I am happy to say we have not had any problems since.

I can not emphasize how great of an experience this company provided. They were on time for the appointment, stated their recommendations, and immediately were able to do the work, with minimal mess and the final charge of $58 was incredibly affordable considering other companies have quoted me over $100 for the same exact work performed. They were in and out in under 1.5 hours and my sprinklers work well to this day (a year later!)

I purchased the $35 Full Sprinkler Tune-Up from Angie's list, and that's just what they did. No problems at all.
