Description of Work: They helped me clean up the stuff that had accumulated in my living room and remove stale dated food from the cupboard. I still have boxes of papers to sort and a couple of other boxes of things to put away, but my room is now livable. I would use them again.

Description of Work: I needed help organizing my office and sent a picture via text message to give an idea of what I was up against. I wanted to sell most everything on Ebay. I didn't know how to start organizing what I needed to keep, sell, donate or throw out. The only help I received was a 5 minute (if that) phone call. Wouldn't waste my money on an organizer again.

The customer never scheduled the service. No job was performed. The customer did send pictures of her home office and did received a phone call where an organizing strategy was discussed. That is all the customer allowed us to do for her. It is impossible to help someone in need of organizing over a phone call. The job must be done on site to see results. We hope, in the near future, the customer will be open to change her mind about organizing professionals in general.

Description of Work: I contracted this service as one of the Angie's List specials. The representative was very, very polite and professional. Upon reflection, I think that there is shared responability for the resutls. I think that prehaps I failed to clearly express my need/expectations for services so as a result I did not get what I expected. I have a large loft which I use as an office and home gym. It greatly needs reorganizing and refurnishing. Having worked with organizers in the past, I expected recommendations for new desks, filing cabinets, etcs. No furniture or office organizational trays, bins, etc were recommended or suggested. I also felt that more attention should have been given to the way I use things or work. Ex. Items that I frequently use were placed in storage boxes underneath other boxes which required me to take everything out to get to copy paper to refill the printers. I have a very bad back so this was a problem. Much of what was set up was redone with my husbands assistance. So while all of the paper was together, it was not convenient in terms of how it was to be used by the client. Organized - yes. User friendly - no. The special I ordered was for 3/4 hours of service and we ended at about 2.5 with "homework" for to organize. I was given a credit for the time not used and as I had already pruchaased an additional special that I had planned to use on my craft room it was added to that session. So this left me with quite a bit of credit. I have yet to call back to schedule the second session and will probably just count this as a lesson learned. In the meantime, I am still looking for a service to assist me in setting up the same areas (additional money) t and to do my "homework" left from the first session. Again, the representative was very polite. I think my area may have been beyound the schope of their services.

the work was great
Description of Work: The work done was excellent, the person doing the job was very friendly and efficient and I loved the results. The best part for me was that while he was doing the job, he was providing advices and explanations on how to accomodate things more efficient, so I learned a lot during the process. That will help me applied what I learned in future situations. The only negative comment I have, is not about the person that came who was great, but about the advertisement that to me was a little bit misleading. The add said aprox $ 500 for an entire make up of the house, while other adds were saying aprox $ 80 for 4 hours work or 2 hours of 2 trainned organizers.... I thought I hired this company because it wanted an entire make up of the house but it turned out to be whatever could be done in 3 visits of 3-4 hours... in other words, for that price I could have had 6 visits in some of the other companies for the same money (at the end of the day it cost twice what others might have cost)... that is what I did not like... I had to do some of the things myself in order to have the whole house done. That is the only thing I thought was misleading, chossing another company might have been a better use of my money, but I was very happy with the person that came, he was great and had nothing to do with what I thought of the misleading title when I hired them.

Description of Work: First it was an organization evaluation. That was seeing the home organization issues and making suggestions. Some suggestions were good, others not so much. Like: "anything you have not used in 6 months to throw away..." The cleaner was excellent. She did an excellent job. From steam cleaning bathrooms, floors to kitchen.
