They are so good. They are amazing. I had some serious plumbing issues lately and they had sent me several different plumbers, I have met about four or five of them and they all are so professional and do such a great job. I only had one small issue with them and they completely cleared it up. I would highly, highly recommend them. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

I like them very much. They did a great job. They handled something that another plumber didn't want to deal with so I appreciated that.

It was excellent overall great. They were very knowledgeable and took extra steps to keep the house clean. I have used them before and they always do a nice job.

I called around looking for someone to do a simple clean out from an on ground sewer line with a clean out valve. When I reached this company I asked what the price would be. Told them specifically what the problem was and I had seen on Angie's list that they had a senior citizen discount. Oh yes they did. The hourly rate would be $84. I said well it wouldn't take an hour to run a snake down the line so I said now it's $84 if it's an hour or less, right? She said yes so I booked the appt. They came within a couple of hours which was good. I showed him the cleanout drain and he ran the snake down it one way and I asked if he would run it the other way. Didn't take but a few minutes. Then I asked him to change a flapper in the toilet... another 5 min job. Ok.. so far everything fine.... drain open and he goes and writes the bill. Comes back and hands me a bill for $188. I said WHOA.....no way. Well there's travel time? Travel time? No one mentioned travel time when I called this morning. Oh well, he'd take a 1/2 hour off but that's all he could do. So the bill was labor $141 ( which should have been $84 since he was here less than an hour) Equipment $30.... Equipment? What equipment? Am I being charged for them bringing the snake on my property? Material $9.33 for the flapper and with the tiny senior discount the bill was $166.23. Be very careful if you call these people cause there are things that will go on the bill that was never mentioned in the inquiry.

They did an excellent job. I am very pleased with their work. However, one of the toilet seats was defective but it couldn't be noticed until begining to use it, at least a day later. I talked to one of the installers and he ofered to come by when he was in the area, but he never did. (I took the seat to the store and they exchanged it with a good one).

Went above what was required and did an excellent job in reinforcing the water spout.

Always very responsive. I've used them at least three times now. They turn up on time, are extremely professional and do high quality work. They are a little expensive, but you get what you pay for.

I chose Orr Plumbing because of good reviews on AL and the 10% discount. I called on 4/29 to schedule appointment for the next day. I was given a 4 hour window (9 AM to 12 noon)! I was also told there would be a charge for travel time (don't get charged for travel as a rule). I was also asked to give my CC info as security in case I changed my mind after the plumber showed up! OK. I found this odd but I did it. When 12 noon rolled around the day of the appointment and the plumber didn't show I called Orr. I was first told I wasn't on the schedule and was asked who I spoke to. Then I was quickly told "Oh, I looked at the wrong screen. Here you are. So sorry, he's running late. He'll be out within the hour". Really? I think they forgot to schedule me and then told a plumber to hightail it over to my house. Once he got to me I found no fault with his work other than the fact that he didn't clean up. I also had to remind him to add the 10% discount.

Everything was done very efficiently, even with me not at the property. i will definitely use them again!

I called Douglas Orr Plumbing at 2:00. I was told that they could have a plumber to my house within the hour. At 2:58, Angel showed up for the job. He was very friendly, professional, and well dressed. He even had an ID card on his uniform. Angel snaked the line from the roof and got my sink working again very quickly. He checked and tightened the lines under the sink that I had disconnected. He also gave me some tips to help keep my lines from clogging in the future. He was very pleasant to talk with. I would highly recommend Douglas Orr Plumbing. They gave a 10% discount for being an Angie's list customer. I was concerned that, being from Miami, they would not respond quickly to Hollywood Lakes. Not only did they show up on time, the customer service person called me after we set the appointment to let me know the plumber was close by and was on his way.

Friendly phone service and consistent excellent service. Appointment is scheduled usually same day or next and they are there on time. Everything they have fixed has been done in one visit, no rescheduling or due-overs.

It needed two visits, and it was not done correctly.

The inspection when well. The technicians arrived on time and they were polite and professional. Prices seem to be fair. My only complaint would be that they lack at following up with the customers.

They came out, did not have the parts ,took pictures, ordered the parts and replaced and fixed everything.

I showed him the two sinks and washing machine that were backing up, and he quickly identified which stack needed snaking. As soon as he began snaking it, I could see the backed up water rush out through the main sewer pipe leading to the city line. He made sure all the sinks and the washer would drain properly before he left. They do charge per hour from time of dispatch until job completion time (so that included travel time), but they tell you that up front, so I guess it's OK. The dispatch time on mine was 4:14. Work began at 4:45 and completed at 5:30. The charge was for 1.5 hours, so I guess they do it in half hour increments. I was pleased overall.

Called them to come run the snake. Ended up costing quite a bit more than I expected because the problem turned out to be a full septic tank. You have to pay for travel time which is annoying.

I was called at 8:30 a.m. having left a message for the provider the night before. The plumber arrived at our house one and a half hours later which I considered rapid response because no ETA had been given. The invoice clearly stated the service and parts provided. I selected Orr because of the many choices provided, they were the first listed that was bonded which, when it is home service is very important to me.]

their first visit is for diagnosis of leaking then they send the quote for replacing a new water heater, tankless one then they installed the new one

Being a customer of Douglas Orr Plumbing, I made a call to them after 1pm on 3/21/14 to see if they could help me with my bathroom drainage problem. They said they would try to send a plumber,but could not give me a time frame, but would call me when they were on their way. I agreed and waited. They did call to say a plumber was on his way. He arrived at 2:55pm, I told him about the drain problem I was having and also showed him the order sheet of the last two jobs that was done by them....unclog shower and bath tub on 10/29/13, clean out of washing machine drain out pipe because of a backup of water on 12/31/13. Thought this information would be of help but the plumber did not think so. He went to the clean out drain at the front of the house and ran the K60 sewer machine down the drain. When the plumber was finish he said it was all cleared and that he had felt a release at the mouth of the septic tank and every thing went down and that the cable came out clean and that the problem was taken care of. In less than 48hrs while the washing machine was draining there was a worst back up in both bathrooms...poop and water every where, on Friday it was only water. This was not good, I called Douglas Orr Plumbing and left a message on their emergency line for a call back. Mr. Alvarez returned my call at 10:56am, I told him the plumber was just here on Friday afternoon and this is Sunday morning less than 48hrs and the problem was worst. Well to my dismay he said their was no guarantee for the service I had on 3/21/14 and if they came out it would cost $140.00/hr I hope I did not hear that right. I told him that was too bad and I guess I needed help from some other service

Very professional plumber. On time. Quick. Found likely problem fast. Make correction quickly. Checked work afterwards. Item never leaked again; now going on 6 years. Problem was simple but other plumbers solutions ranged from estimates of $500 to $800 which I did not accept. This Douglas Orr plumber identified the likely issue as a $15 seal replacement on the overflow value for the tub. The labor was the big cost, over $200 but that is because they charge for travel time. I still came out ahead compared to the others. I am doing this review this late because I have another issue with the same unit and needed to use this site to remember who I used last time.

I was very happy with the service provided by the Douglas Orr plumber. He was very professional and arrived on scheduled time. He explained everything he was doing and was very organized and neat in his work areas. For all the items he installed and corrected it was worth every penny. I will definitely use them again.

Bill was very good. He was polite and professional. His work was exceptional and he did a good job cleaning up after the work was finished.
