At first I thought that they were asking too much. So, I called a supplier and found that they were right on the money. Their receptionist is professional and prompt. I wish electricians weren't so expensive, but if I had to pay more for one, I'd rather pay for the services of this company. VERY happy with their service!

it was a great experience he actually came early and he did call before to check if it was ok. showed him the plug and fuse box. he left for 1/2 hour to get a fuse and installed the wire in the attic from the box to the plug. Nice guy!!!! even did a little something on the side for me like disconnecting a light switch plug to stay on all the time. He wore paper booties when in the house.

Everything was fine, they provided the services as described.

It went great. I used an Angie's List Big Deal, and was very satisfied with the service.

First class technicians. Arrived on time did a very professional installation job. Very neat and discussed the options that were available.Cleaned up any debris . I've told our friends and relatives about there service. My brother in law already used them to install a fan.

When i called Mr. S and told them i found the listing on Angies List the lady who took the call was very nice and i told her what my delema was and did not want to wait for a weekday service call. she was very helpfull on the phone and gave me an estimate time when an electrician would swing by, i booked a service call around 9 a.m. and was told that between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. the electrician would be by, they called me around 12:30 and informed me that he was running a few minutes late but still got to my home a little after 1 p.m. The electrician was very professional, well dressed and entered my home wearing booty's to cover his shoes. The tech suggested to do a full electrical check of the house that took about 2 hours and cost over $250.00, i did have sticker shock but i did not want to take any chances with electrical problems in the house. After doing the check the only problem found was a bad GFI switch that effected two bathrooms. he offered to fix it for a price of over $100, i was very shocked at the price considering i already paid over $250 and a new GFI outlet cost about $10 and takes less then 5 minutes to install. so i told them that i would change it myself and save $125. The tech gave me a full report on everything electrical in my house and felt better that it was not a more serious issue. Mr.S service was very good, professional but overpriced. i guess the booty's are pretty expensive.

We had a misunderstanding but was resolved quickly to our satisfaction. Work was performed in 2 visits and we are happy.

I would recommend them to others. The young man did a good job. He was courteous. I would use them in the future.

Electrician arrived on time; performed work in a professional manner. He needed a part, went to purchase it and returned immediately to finish the job. I was very satisfied with the quality of the work and the respectful way the electrician treated me and my property. I would recommend Mr. Sparky again.

They answered my e-mail inquiry the same day and came out to provide an estimate within a couple of days. The estimate was reasonable, so we hired Kevin to do the work. Kevin obtained the permit and gave us some useful advice on the permitting process. He also pointed out that a shrub partially blocking the electrical box would likely result in a violation and even removed it for us. I have yet to test the switch. I will do that this weekend. The only negative is that they offered us a home protection plan which we signed up for and paid for at the outset (obviously an up sell, but it seemed worth it to me for safety reasons since my house is 20 years old). The protection plan was to basically do an electrical inspection of our home to make sure everything was functioning properly and up to code. After the switch was installed they seemed to forget about the protection plan inspection. I had to follow up a few times to get a date set for the inspection. Kevin came back and did the inspection within a couple of weeks. It just seemed like I was up-sold for something that was explained as being pretty important, but it was not important enough for them to remember to do when the bigger part of the work was completed. I still think they did a good job and would use them again.

First visit they were right on time. installed the surge protector and diagnosed the smoke detector, outlet problem. The diagnosis took a couple of hours since the wiring was behind a wall and was giving unusual voltage at the outlet and the smoke detectors. Got an estimate for running a new line to the outlet and a new line to the smoke detectors. Set up a followup appointment for 8 am. They called and said there was an emergency and would arrive shortly. Had a miscommunication since they showed up 3 hours later. But they not only fixed the two problems but added an outlet in the master closet. Everything was done exactly like they said. Would not have called them if it wasn't for the review on Angie's list and am glad that I did.

Called 954-792-4990 set up appt, could not get any pricing from the office. Clean cut technician arrives, seems very knowledgaeable and well spoken. Find out I have to pay a $59 travel fee in addition to the repair of $100. Repair was completed in 15-20 minutes and cost me $150. The repair was worth $80 to $100. I would have appreciated if this was explained on the phone. I did get a discount of 10% for Angies list and now I see online, I could have gotten a $25 discount. I feel I was overcharged. Lesson learned for me.

Great. They were professional with the estimate, came when they said they would come and worked until the job was done. They were dressed professionally and acted that way as well. Great experience.

Overall I am pleased with his work. Easy to schedule. Fixed pricing. Very responsive and easy to talk to. Gave me pointers as someone who knows little about electrical work. Probably could have cleaned up a little better when he was done but nothing that was major. Had to have him come out a second time to go over that initial wall switch since it still had issues. This time it seems to be working as expected. Probably could have found someone cheaper but satisfied with what I got for the money. Will have him return for future issues.

We found them on Angie’s List. I spent about $150 for their service. They were really good. They came and solved the problems. They fixed it. They were here the next day and they were on time as well. Everything was great. It was a good experience and I would recommend them.

Kevin earned his money. He couldn't add the surge protector to the outside panel because it had items that were not up to code and the relays in this panel were by a company that has been out of business for over 10 years. That is why I chose to have this panel replaced. The inside panel was at its electrical capacity and had the same companies relays in it. So I chose to replace it also. The job was more difficult because the house was old and all the wiring was in conduit. It was a difficult job but Kevin was very profesional and done great work.

They called when en-route, arrived on time as promised, performed the service and cleaned up when they were finished. Outstanding job with friendly, knowledgeable technicians.

Overall, I did not like the experience. I contracted with Mr.Sparky to have a surge protector installed in my circuit breaker box. The electrician Kevin Court should have limited himself to this task. But instead, he proceeded to look around and noticed that I had a new kitchen. He asked if I had purchased the condo that way or if I had had it renovated. When I replied that I was the one who had it renovated, he asked me if I wanted him to check out everything to make sure it was all right. I told him no, that I was satisfied with the way the job was done and the results. He totally disregarded my wishes and went into the kitchen area anyway and proceeded to tell me that there were some code violations. He offered to correct them. I told him again that I was satisfied with the way things were and was not interested in having him do any additional work. Before leaving, he had me sign a form indicating that I didn't want him to correct any code violations. I am really annoyed at this company for this tactic of trying to get more business and, of course, more money. I am really angry that this person entered my home with total disregard for my privacy and my wishes. I am upset that Angie's List would have recommended a Big Deal through this company. Needles to say, I will never call them for any additional work.

I purchased the "Big Deal" for whole-house surge protection primarily because I wanted protection for my computers. However, there were some "hidden" costs that were not identified in the Big Deal's fine print. Specifically to get complete protection for my computers and television I had to have additional items installed both inside and outside. However, the electrician, J.C., was so nice and so professional that I did not mind paying the extra costs. Thanks to the detailed and non-technical explanation that he provided regarding the extra items, I did not feel as though I was a victim of the old bait-and-switch tactic. J.C.also patiently answered my questions about electrical needs for my generator. Because of J.C. I will use Mr. Sparky for all of my electrical needs in the future, including the installation of a transfer switch for my generator.

Did the work on time and for the amount expected.

I scheduled an appointment for an estimate. The representative from the company was very professional and very helpful. He checked all my outlets to be sure they were grounded. Walked through the whole house with my boyfriend and I explaining what our options were. The best part about this company is that they take credit cards and provide their own financing when necessary. I did not use this company because I found a better price that included fixing more of the problems.

They were very responsive when I called them. Kevin showed up exactly when they said he would. The work was done on time, on budget, with great follow-up. When I had questions or concerns, they were addressed right away. Their price was not the cheapest but it was within about 10%. The parts they used were also of higher quality than what some of the less expensive quotes offered. I would highly recommend using Mister Sparky.
