Andy Rodriguez Tile

"Unfortunately this customer and I are on opposite sides of the look of this finished floor tile job. This customer purchased a less than good tile,the sizing was not all the same, it was warped and it was extremely cheap . I explained in detail to the customer of the pro's and cons of this tile which there wasn't really pro's to it and yet she still decided to proceed to purchase this tile because she made the comment that the tile matched her color scheme and because it was extremely inexpensive and within her budget. I also explained to the customer that going over the existing concrete floor in it's existing condition would magnify all the imperfections of this rectified tile and that the edge of this tile being rectified would not lend itself aesthetically very well as opposed to a pressed edge tile or a tile with a cushioned edge.I also mentioned to the customer that I was not a fan of this type of tile. This customer had no complaints until the very end of the job. During this entire process this customer raved about my installers Mike and Jimmy and how good and neat they were which are on my text messages that she sent me. this customer also proceeded to give my name to a friend of her's and also to a client of hers to have me give them a quote in order to potentially do their jobs as well and I also have text messages from her to confirm this. additionally the cabinet installer that installed cabinets in her house also said to me that the flooring job was a very good job who has himself installed tile off and on for over 40 years and is also willingly to sign an affidavit to that effect. When this customer paid me with the last check she shook my hand and said and I quote, Thank you and I'm happy with the overall job. This customer who now is claiming she is so unhappy with the job I did, decided during this whole process to then hire me to perform additional tile work aside from the flooring in both the master bathroom shower stall and the guest bathroom tub in which when it was completed she had nothing but praise for the work. Now You would think that if this customer was that unhappy with the work I performed that this customer certainly wouldn't have paid me in full and this customer certainly would not have hired me to do additional work, My contract with this customer was setup on 3 separate installment payments with each payment signifying acceptance of the work that was already performed and never at any time did she withhold any payments because she was unhappy with the work being performed. In the end I attempted on 3 separate occasions to try and please this customer but unfortunately I believe this customer is more interested in trying to get a full refund because it didn't turn out to be a perfect job but instead it just turned out to be a very good job. I have 27 reviews on this site and every single one of them are extremely complimentary, they comment on the quality and integrity of my installers and a lot of the reviews comment on my ability to communicate with my customers as well as to make all my customers feel comfortable and informed about the process of their project and ultimately they commented on how well the experience went. I believe any reasonable person will come to the conclusion that the 27 reviews speak for themselves and it is unfortunate that this 1 customer has chosen to have a very unrealistic expectation of her floor and now it has become a personal vendetta."
