Hazelwood Floors

Hazelwood Floors refinished our 60+ year old hardwood floors last week. We are so happy with the results. Craig was able to achieve the natural look we were looking for with the Rubio Monocoat. Top notch, efficient

Hazelwood Floors does amazing work. We hired them to redo floors in our century house -- living, dining, stairs, landing and 4 bedrooms. Most of that had been carpeted, and when we ripped out the carpet, we found 3 bedrooms in good shape; one needed some repairing to patch a section that had been cut out and plywooded (and someone painted a ceiling without putting down a drop cloth); stairs and landing were fairly grey; dining room needed a patch and had some weak boards; but the piece de resistance was the living room: multiple sections needed patching, and the floor had been both lacquered and caulked. We had another estimator come in -- he spent about 10 minutes with us, took measurements, said we needed to replace the entire living room and dining room. Craig from Hazelwood spent close to an hour on our estimate -- he really got down and examined the floor, said that it still had a lot of life left in it and showed us what was possible. His enthusiasm about our house was contagious. And he had a better price. Everyone on the Hazelwood team was incredibly professional and took great pride in their work. The results were beautiful -- patches look seamless, replacement boards blend in, the sanding work was perfection (and they had to go over that living room lacquer 5 times to remove it all). The stain and polyurethane coats are gorgeous. We even got a removable section put in so we could build a secret compartment under the floor. They kept the dust to the bare minimum and draped the basement to prevent our things from getting damaged -- and they did a great job cleaning up afterward. Hazelwood gave us what feels like an entirely different house, and we're so pleased with the results. We absolutely recommend them -- they truly care about producing the best work possible at an extremely reasonable price.

Hazelwood recently finished resurfacing our wood floors. They were wonderful to work with and we are totally satisfied with our beautiful new floors. Highly recommend this wonderful company.

Hazelwood did an excellent job refinishing my century home’s floors in Lakewood. There were some pet stains from previous owner/having carpet covering the floors and they were able to get them out and stain without going too dark vs the rest of the original oak wood work in the house. I was very pleased with their employees and quality of work

I had hardwood flooring repaired. The first stain they used was much too dark. They tried to restain, but finally had to resand down to bare wood and use a stain that i matched at the hardware store. At least they kept at it until they got it right. The finished product looks fine.

I had a wonderful experience with hazelwood floors. I have an old home with original hardwood that needed extensive repairs (holes, bad patch jobs from previous owners, cracked boards). Craig made sure everything was done properly and fixed more boards than we originally talked about because he wanted to make sure it was done right. The new boards fit in wonderfully with the original boards and I'm so happy with the finished product. I highly recommend them.

The floor look amazing! Something from the padding of the original carpet seeped into the wood, which caused the curing process of the sealant to take a couple extra days but it was worth the wait. Would highly recommend Hazelwood floors; they take pride in their work.
