It went very well. Courtney Miller was our salesperson. She was very knowledgeable and helpful in our decision making process in choosing which windows best fit our needs. We are also very pleased with the installation team of Greg and Eric from Polusa Construction Corp. They worked very hard and did an excellent job. Overall, we feel we picked the best company to do the job.

Once the appointment was set Courtney came to our home and gave us an in-depth lesson on windows. She was professional and was not shy about asking for our business. We had interviewed 3 other companies prior to meeting with her. Our goal was to take our time and make the right choice. After negotiating a price to replace 9 windows she explained what we should expect. Windows were ready for installation about 12 weeks after the initial order. Polusa Construction out of Sarasota arrived on time with a crew of 3. They worked nonstop to install and cleanup in about 4 hours. They were also professional. After the job was complete Courtney made a follow up visit to our home to provide warranty information. Overall, a very good experience!

Well, not so great. Nick, sales, arrived promptly. Didn't need complete house, because new addition had been done. Assessed, gave 3 prices according to quality one would select from vendors offered. No literature given, only prices. Nick did bring a sample window on the most expensive window. Called asking for literature on each company, stated was going to send; waiting 6 days and counting. Don't even know how many windows this estimate was for. I placed 3 calls to Peter (owner) after he tried to reach me, unsuccessful.

Affordable Window Systems is a wonderful company to work with! From our first, no pressure consultation and estimate with Courtney Miller, to the ordering, installation, and payment process. Everything went smoothly and any questions or concerns were answered promptly and resolved. Everyone was very friendly, responsive to our needs, there was no pressure for purchasing, and multiple designs to choose from. Would highly recommend.

Affordable Window Systems recently installed windows into our enclosed lanai. The entire experience with them was outstanding! From the very informative information presented by Courtney Miller in a relaxed, non-hard sell fashion, to the extremely professional and quick installation and follow-up, Affordable Window Systems was nothing but professional and hard-working. Our salesman Nick was very knowledgeable and friendly he took good care of us from the beginning to the end. Polusa Construction Corp. did the installation of the windows they were very professional. They did an excellent job from removing the old windows and installing the new windows to the cleanup everything was great.

They weren't interested in serving my needs once I refused to give my 'husband's name'. Interesting to me since I have been independent my whole life and do not depend on a husband for anything. Extremely rude when I commented that I didn't need to give them anyone else name as it was me that was purchasing their service. They then refused me service. Very discriminating company I would not do business with if they gave me their product.

Affordable Window Systems was a pleasure to deal with from start to end. Dave was very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the different options of windows, answering patiently all my questions. He would work with my budget and was very accommodating when it came to setting appointments. Once I made my decision, the paper work was minimal which I personally very much appreciated. After the initial measuring, Greg from Polusa Construction came by to familiarize with the project and to make sure the measurements were correct. The windows very delivered in the time frame I was promised. I was told that the windows and sliding door would be installed in one day. I was a little skeptical about that but Greg and his team from Polusa Construction made it happen. They arrived in the morning, I left for work with old windows in my home, and in the evening I returned to a home with brand new windows and sliding door. AND the Polusa crew left my home spotless and clean! The inspection was scheduled and “we” passed with flying colors. Thank you Affordable Window Systems and Polusa Construction for a great job. I couldn’t be happier with my new windows!

Owners Peter and Ciressa Merhige were very helpful as we selected windows and set the timeline for installation. All of the permits were handled by the office staff. The installers were very professional, arriving on time and working efficiently throughout the day. Clean up was thorough and timely. We would highly recommend Affordable Window Systems.

This review is lengthy but it is deemed necessary. The entire team at Affordable Windows Systems were spectacular from beginning to end. Josh was an extremely patient, informative, and professional sales associate. He took the time to explain everything in clear detail how to shop for windows. After talking with him a second time in person, he was able to negotiate with the owner Peter on an excellent price on a good quality window that was ultimately sold at cost to me. That alone was very impressive and I know that it rarely happens in any business. Then things got challenging after the papers were signed. Cathie and crew began dealing with my homeowners association. In the 20 something years of doing business in southwest Florida, NEVER, had they come across such a difficult group of people to get approval for an installation. When Cathie exhausted her usual resources she turned it over to Peter the owner. He was unable to improve the situation initially and so that's when they REALLY got determined. Over the course of SIX weeks, pulling all help from anyone they could, negotiating, playing nice, playing mean, calling all parties, offices, and whomever else necessary, they were approved. It ultimately called for a huge favor from Lee Co. Permitting to put things to an inevitable end. A favor that happens once in a lifetime for most people who deal with permits. This company was relentless..... All for an installation that was at cost. Roughly two weeks later they were installed. Palusa Construction did the install. They were spot on on their time frame. They said they would arrive between 9 and 10 am, they were there at 9:30. They said they would be done by 4, they walked out the door at 4. They even had time to reinstall the plantation blinds I took down prior to them arriving(they did it better than the original installers). They were clean and courteous and answered any questions I had for future reference. The only snag I ran into was I was unable to unlock the casement windows because the plantation blind framing was in the way. I obviously can not fault anyone for that. It was something nobody anticipated. I had to "modify" the blinds voiding the warranty. Oh well. This company is amazing. Stop your shopping and hire them. Not only just because of the great example of customer care stated above, but because they stuck to their core of principles and business ethics. No customer is too small, too insignificant, or sub-priority. They never let down their customer.

Great finished product and job. Peter was more concerned with my timeline and service then my general contractor. Great personality and professionalism. Wow and his installers were amazing... clean, friendly and very knowledgeable.

Peter and Josh are true gentlemen. They responded quickly to schedule and appointment and come out to look at my job. Josh did the measurements and presented me with 3 different costs for entry, mid and top level lines. Two of the lines I had already gotten bids on. The third line I was unfamiliar with. Their estimates were quite a bit higher than the competition and I shared that with Josh on the spot. He was more than willing to make some adjustments to come more in line with the competition. A couple days passed and Peter, the owner, touched base with me to follow-up. Really nice guy who has a wonderful business philosophy. Even though I ended up hiring a competitor with a product NOT represented by Affordable Windows, I have no hesitation in recommending you consider them in your bidding process.

Called the company. Told the lady who answered the phone exactly what I wanted. I have 7 windows and want CGI vinyl impact windows. My husband and I have 40+ years experience in the construction industry and already did our homework. He is a commercial superintendent and primarily on the road. Gave my contact info, then was told unless both decision makers were there for the "presentation" they are not interested in our business. We don't need gimmics and silly sales tactics. What happened to "The customer is King" ? I certainly do not recommend this company.

First of all let me clarify, I am picky, like perfection, and need to know what is going on. Therefore, most contractors find me very honest, straightforward, but probably not their easiest customer. In this case I would describe Peter and his company as "User Friendly." Originally, I met with Peter at my home. He greatly impressed me with his knowledge of windows and doors. He is not stuck on "one brand." He will recommend various options, the positives and negatives of each. Peter also has the ability to explain those options in a way that is easy to understand. If there were any questions, his staff was quick to get me an answer, and if Peter was called directly he responded in very short time. The installation crew were very competent, clean, and a pleasure to have in and outside the home during their work. Overall, I would highly recommend Affordable Window Systems. I really had a positive experience.

Called to request an estimate to replace a french door damaged in a storm. The representative stated that it is a requirement that both spouses be present for the estimate. I explained that my wife and I work opposite schedules and that this would not be possible. As I was explaining this she interrupted me to inform me that it was company policy then hung up while I was still speaking. If this is the level of customer service they provide to potential customers I would be very apprehensive to utilize this contractor.

Arrived on time. Very professional & polite. Very clean job. Very informative while working. Can’t say enough about the sale and installation, whole house complete in one day. Outstanding company to done with.

The owner provided an estimate. He spent a lot of time going over my options, and gave an objective opinion about other estimates received. I felt he provided me with honest guidance, which ultimately led me to consider waiting to replace my windows when I'm able to get it done right. I felt the owner was highly trustworthy and recommend doing business with him.

Top notch. Peter and his office staff were knowledgable, friendly and professional. Everything was delivered and installed on schedule. The sub-contractors who installed the door were on time and contentious. The installation ran into the evening and the next day I noticed a small gap between the doors that we had not noticed the night before. I called AWS and they sent a rep right out to correct it. It's nice to know Affordable Window Systems stands behind their work. I would definitely use them again!

Peter was good to work with, and he worked hard at getting the right product and price. Polusa did a great job of installation. We had some difficulty with screens, but it was resolved. I would recommend AWS to all my neighbors.
