Description of Work: They came on time and were VERY thorough inspecting the whole house and giving estimates on repairs needed. The only thing off was the price to replace old electrical outlets at $42 each....I'm checking to get a lower estimate as have 18-20 remaining outlets. But if I can't get that lowered, would consider calling the service as in all other respects they were thorough, professional, and patient!

Description of Work: Did an electrical inspection and swapped out a ceiling fan. Prompt, polite, professional and friendly.

Description of Work: First they took their own sweet time getting back to me. Provider earlier said that service was only for installing ceiling fan over a current one although no such thing is mentioned in the deal description. Then he demanded extra money for "wiring". How one would install a ceiling fan without needing wiring is beyond me. He said it would cost extra to install a box too which I thought was fair but I did not need the box as I wanted to use the remote control for the fan. He says he can't afford to do $99 install while it was Angies list itself who had offered the deal and coupon. I already bought a fan and now I have to return it. I have used AL providers in the past (including electricians) and never had such a bad experience. This is disappointing to say the least.

Description of Work: We used Quick for extensive work in the past (new panel, switches and outlets) and were satisfied with the job. So when we needed a new dedicated circuit for a new cooktop, we called them and were told they would come by the next day between 12 and 1pm. No show, no call. Very unprofessional. There are a lot of quality electricians on AngList. We will call others to do any more work.

Description of Work: "Quick Electric came to provide an electrical evaluation of my 1,325 sq. ft. home, built in 1963. The original wiring consisted of six circuits, several of which were not grounded. The recommendation was for an upgraded service to a 200 amp main panel, jumper to the sub panel in the garage, and bringing the rest of the house up to current code requirements. The work was performed over the course of two weeks, with outlets wired from beneath the house and switches from overhead. All outlet and switch boxes were replaced and all new wiring installed. New breaker boxes, main and sub were installed, along with new grounded wiring to the dish washer, garbage disposal, cook top, oven and vent fans. New hard-wired CO2 and fire alarms were also installed. The work was performed with caution and care to keep from damaging floors and walls, and the workers (Razvan and Dave) cleaned up after themselves at the end of each work session. Outlet and switch covers were installed flush with the wall surfaces and on level. The city inspector's comment was, ""I wish every job I was called to inspect was done as well as this one."" |I would recommend Quick Electric, without reservation, to anyone who is looking for quality electrical work done like they would do it if they were doing it themselves."

Description of Work: Checked circuit breaker panel and stated that they could not work on that model and it needed to be replaced. They would work up an estimate for replacement and contact me, but they never did. I called them once and they said to give them a couple of more days, but still have not gotten back to me.

Description of Work: Existing 15amp circuit for the lights and plugs in the master bedroom and master bathroom were split to resolve overloading and tripping the circuit breaker. Added 2 new 20amp circuits (one of the master bedroom, one for the bathroom). Installed one GFCI in the laundry room; Added switch on the bedroom wall for outside light by the pool; installed smoke detector along the main hallway. | Time spent in the installation took about 1 1/2 days with Razvan and Dave working as a team. Work entailed getting under the house through the crawl space. Drop cloth was used in the work areas, cleanup and vacuumed upon completion. Overall, work went smoothly without any problems. |

Description of Work: I let Angie's list know that I was having a problem with this vendor. |I called this vendor today and he told me to call him after 2 hours. I called after 2 hours and he stated that he was busy and to call again.
