Arthur Yale, the owner, is very personable and understood the need that we had. We had to move from our house to a building. The move happened in a timely fashion as we expected. He came to the house and he assessed everything. Since I moved 7 times in the past over a period of 10 years, I would say it was a good experience. Only thing was that when the guys came in, I showed them a piece of furniture and they promised to help us out in putting them together in our apartment, but that never happened.

The owner, Arthur Yale, was very responsive and answered all my questions. He came to my apartment to give me a quote, which was reasonable: $800 for 3 guys and 3 hours. The work was completed in that timeframe. The crew was exceptional. They were careful with all my stuff, very polite, on time, and efficient. They took care with my new hardwood floors. They finished in less time than was quoted. They even moved a *very* large dresser up a narrow flight of stairs. I didn't think they could do it, but they did and didn't leave a scratch. I would use this company again in a heartbeat. They greatly reduced the stress of my move. Thank you to all involved!

From the time that we contacted Arthur and his company to schedule this move, they were professional and courteous. The schedule unfortunately had to change several times due to the closing on their new home but Arthur was continuously able to adjust his schedule. One the day of the move, his workers showed up early so they new that they had sufficient time to finish any packing and then load the truck. My daughter was at the house at this time and she told me that they were extremely professional and handled everything with care. The company then had to store their belongings for 3 days and deliver after the weekend. On the day of the unload, the truck was on time. The same crew that we requested, came unloaded the truck and help to assemble my grandchildrens bedroom furniture so that had somewhere to sleep in their new house and not be scared. I commend Arthur and his company with a first class operation and this is why we have used him now a total of 5 times to move members of my family. He treats you and your home like family and that is what counts.

I called several movers, all of which sounded friendly however, Arthur, the owner of On Demand, was the only one who offered to come to my home to give an accurate estimate. I was impressed with his no-nonsense assessment. I was equally impressed when I called him the day before the move when I decided to change my destination from Tamarac to Doral. The new price he quoted me was fair. As for the movers themselves, they arrived ten minutes early and were efficient and professional. This is not the first time I've used professional movers. The first mover I used held my possessions hostage while he gouged the price. I would not wish this experience on anyone. That is why I am writing this review of On Demand. If I could sum up it up in two words, they'd be: USE THEM!!!

Price was fair for labor, but they overcharged for the packing materials. They over-packed several items. For example, I had a deck of cards that they wrapped several times. I had a French statue that had very delicate hands. It was under-wrapped and the hands were broken and cracked. One of the movers broke a picture and tried to tell me that it was broken before it was moved, but the owner stated, no, if it was broken before, they would have pointed it out to you. Arthur Yale, the owner, corrected that issue. Mr. Yale stated that he would pay to have the statue fixed and suggested a couple companies, one was for furniture repair (which they said they couldn't do it) and the second gentleman, also a furniture person, said they couldn't do it either. I regret that I didn't pack and carry it myself, but if it had been properly packed to begin with, it wouldn't have been an issue. Brandon, the guy who broke the picture frame, is also the one that packed the statue. I've been told that he has since been let go. I was finally able to find an artist to fix the statue, costing me $300 out of pocket. When I contacted Mr. Yale to tell him the cost of the repair and get reimbursed, as he promised, he was rude and discourteous on the phone. He went back on his promise to pay for the repair of the statue that a member of his crew was responsible for breaking. I would never recommend him, he's dishonest, and he didn't stick with what he said he was going to do. It's not good ethics, it's not good business practice.

Our side of the story. When we were packing your home, YOU told us about the hands of the statue being repaired prior to us packing it. We could not be responsible to repair the HANDS of the statue since we did not damage it originally. We offered to send the statue to our repair company, but you insisted to take it there yourself. It was determent that our repair company found that the original people who did the repair did a POOR job in the hand repair to begin with. You then took it to some other repair company and then told me to pay the $300.00, never discussing the repair with us. I guess you forgot I offered to split a reasonable cost of the repair. $300.00 was totally unreasonable. Now with reference to the broken frame, again we pointed out to you that the frame was broken prior to us moving it. In an effort to satisfy you, however we did go ahead and PAY for repair for which we were clearly NOT responsible. I did notice that you never bothered to mention the frame repair that we covered in your complaint. My company fulfills all of its obligations and does not shirk from its responsibilities. Oh by the way, Bradon was not fired, he left the company for health reason very recently.

This is what my friend mentioned: " I typically do not write any reviews, but this case it definitely deserves one. I called ?WeMove? back in January for the recent move that my Family and I had. If I have to summarize it was simply an outstanding experience and everything went just perfect. After my first call, Arthur (the owner) accommodated his agenda to fit my requirement to see our old-house and provide an accurate (perfect and really competitive) estimate. We scheduled the move more than a month in advance, and what I call the "moment of truth" was when I had to reschedule the move to an earlier day. I literally called on a Thursday 10:00PM (expecting a voice mail to get the business hours) and for my good surprise Arthur answered, and without taking advantage of the situation, we agreed to make the move for that Monday. This was critical for me since it let me make the sell and buy transaction in the same day... Last but not least, at the day of the move the team (Brian, Pedro and Emlio) arrived even before 8:00AM and in just a few hours they were able to have everything perfectly covered and loaded in the truck, allowing me do the walkthrough with the buyers at the vacant house... The unloading and reassemble of everything at the new hone was another 'piece of art'... Again, I can not thank this company enough for such a magnificent job, and allowing me to focus on the selling and buying. They just did a "cut and paste"... Nothing was damaged. Great Company. We had a date set, and then we closed early. Arthur did his best to accommodate us. On the move day they sent 2 guys to pack us on one day, and then 4 guys the next day to move us. There packing was great, so far I have unpacked my entire kitchen, and have not found anything broken. The packing started at 8am in the morning, and around 5pm, two more guys showed up. They did not leave until 8pm. The next day the guys were at our house at 8:00am prompt, and finished everything, then loaded the truck, they realized they needed a second truck, and went and got another, they then drove it to the new house, and unloaded everything, once again they did not finish until about 8:00pm. They labeled everything, so it was pretty easy for us to find the items we needed right away. I highly recommend this company, and would use them again.

The team arrived at the scheduled time, having previously called to advice that they were in there way. the men who arrived had good presentation and introduced themselves with professionalism and curtesy. The goods had to be brought down an elevator, and they had to walk to the authorized parking space for the moving truck. I was amazed at the efficiency they demonstrated and also the energy they put into the task they where carrying out. The truck was clean inside and outside, reiterating the fact that this is a company with quality standards. The company also demonstrates flexibility because we required two drop off sites , and they accommodated us.

Three men arrived at the apartment promptly at 8:30 am. They secured the elevator key from the building management and began working. They actually moved us within the three hour time limit. The men were courteous and professional. We have moved several times over the years and this has been the best move ever. I would certainly hired this moving company again without hesitation.

It went extremely well. Arthur and his team did exactly what they said they were going to do with one exception that I will get into later. Arthur came himself to do the estimating for the moving and packing job. He surveyed the entire house making detailed notes on the items that would need to fit into his moving truck. He then sent us electronic copies of his estimate that included the detailed list of items. I really like that he sent these electronically because they were very clear and precise as to what was being agreed to. And when you are moving, the last thing you want is another printed piece of paper to lose. His terms and pricing were very clear. There were no gimmicks with him. Everything was straight forward which is a breath of fresh air these days when dealing with moving. On packing day his team was scheduled to show up at 8:00AM and he had told us that it would pretty much be a full day of two team members packing. His team called at 8:00AM to say they were grabbing some supplies and would arrive in 30mins. They arrived and got right to work. They packed EVERYTHING. They charge you for all materials such as packing paper and boxes, but his prices are exactly what you would pay for the stuff. It was very fair and it was nice not to have to worry about supplies. His team was maybe a little overly cautious when packing. They packed each and every breakable (and sometimes unbreakable) items in a ton of packing paper to insure everything arrived safely. We would laugh to ourselves sometimes when we were unpacking, because we would find a giant wad of paper in a box and wonder what it was and it would turn out to be a shot glass or something. I am glad they packed this way. I would much rather spend an extra 50 bucks on supplies and have a successful move with nothing broken then picking through boxes with broken glass. It took them until around 4:30PM to complete packing and when they were done there was nothing left for us to worry about. On moving day, his team was to show up at 8:00 AM they showed up at 8:30AM. Arthur had estimated that the moving day would take between 5-8 hours for the move out of the old house and into the new house. He sent a team of 3 guys and a very nice reasonably large truck. They had all the wardrobe boxes and moving blankets that would be needed. Based on the 5 - 8 hour estimate we figured they would be done that evening at 4:30 PM and we could start unboxing the essentials. Unfortunately, this was where Arthur made a small mistake. I think he may have underestimated how many nooks and crannys a big house like ours had. And the three man team was not enough. We had some heavy furniture upstairs that slowed them down. And they barely fit everything on the truck. My wife in fact had to make a couple trips herself to get everything to the new house. They didn't finish at the old house until 5:00 PM. They got to the new house at around 5:30 PM. The guys worked really hard and didn't slow down for one second. The only break they took was to eat on the way to the new house. They completed moving into the new house around 10:30 PM. This is really my only gripe. But it is a very small gripe because Arthur honored the original agreement and charged me for the maximum end of the estimate. Which was very fair. Estimating has always been a difficult thing and I know I shouldn't be surprised when a business man is honest and honors agreements but I still am. Arthur charged us what he had promised. I think $2000 for moving a house of our size is very reasonable. His team was professional and very polite and they are very hard workers. I would definitely recommend Arthur and his moving company to anybody that needs a good local company. I have always said that you don't judge a company by their mistakes, you judge them by how they deal with those mistakes. When Arthur's team realized it was going to take longer then they thought, they responded by working harder and faster. When Arthur realized the job was going to take longer he responded by honoring his original price. I couldn't ask for anything but this.

I submitted a quote request and was promptly responded to and made an appointment for an estimate. Eduardo arrived on time for the appointment and was very pleasant and easy to deal with. He explained the entire process, the costs, how many men, expected hours, etc. As the move day arrived I contacted the owner, Arthur, via email and he responded to all of my questions. The day of the move 4 guys arrived on time and very quickly and professionally wrapped and moved all of our items. They were so good that the entire move, including 30 minutes of travel time, only took 3 hours. I will definitely be using them again.

Three movers arrived on Thursday with packing materials and meticulously packed everything: glassware, dishes, collectables, electronics, oil paintings, furniture, etc. I was very happy with 2 of them. The 3rd I felt did a lot of talking on the phone and would take off to parts unknown. I called the main office and told them that I did not want the 3rd mover back the next day, but that the other 2 were fantastic and I was hoping they would be back. Friday morning the 2 fantastic movers, Pedro & Waldir, were back along with Brian. There was supposed to be a fourth mover but he called in sick. I helped unpack in order to expedite the move. This trio was great. They wrapped all the furniture so that it was well protected. The way Pedro packed the truck reminded me of a game of Tetris. All the pieces fit nicely together so that nothing moved. They were great about placing all the furniture into the new home where we wanted it and maneuvering large pieces around tight corners. There were a few dings on the walls but frankly it was unavoidable. Kudos to Pedro, Waldir & Brian for a job well done. I would definitely use We Move On Demand again and recommend them to friends and family.

The company was not able to come to my home because they said they were overbooked. I request the date of December 22nd and it was confirmed on the internet. The next following day after I paid online, the company called and said they can not make it due to being overbooked.

Ok, lets look at the situation. You purchased a deal through e-commerce on Angie's List on12/18/14. Angie's List says to give the vendor three (3) suggested dates for service.You gave only two (2) and it was for within 4 days after the purchase of the coupon. When I spoke to you I told you we were already booked for your 2 only days. I did offer you another day and you told me you would get back to me. You never did! We are a quality moving company and get booked quickly. It really was not fair to give us any grade, because you insisted on dates within a period of 4 days of the purchase. Maybe you should have purchased the deal 7 or more days of the intented date of service. Sorry we could not help you.

They were very disorganized. Everything wound up on the truck mixed up and fragile belongings were packed with heavier things on top of them and upside down. While they were moving things downstairs they stacked things on shelving that was on the walls and ripped two shelves down. The first day they were there for 10 hours and still did not complete the move. I watched them drop one of my dining room chairs off of the truck. When I brought this to the supervisor's attention he did not seem concerned, and said "accidents happen". The storage unit is packed so badly that if you try to open the storage door it is going to rip a mattress. I can't tell at this point exactly what is damaged. My current landlord is charging $300 for the shelves that were pulled down. When I spoke to Move On Demand they said if I let them know what is damaged they will make good on it, but the problem is I will have no way of knowing what is damaged until I unpack storage and that could take up to a year. I have noticed my dining room table and a few other things are damaged. I packed over 100 boxes myself, and cannot justify how it took them 10 hours. They said I had a lot of loose items, but when the estimator initially came they said those things would be specially wrapped by the movers. Initially, they estimated that it would take 7 hours and anything past the 7 hours would be charged over time and would not be over 11 hours, now they are saying I will be charged for 12 hours and extra for the moving blankets and additional boxes that were used to pack the items that I was told to leave loose by the estimator. After arguing the additional charges they said they would only charge for 11 hours and they would take off the additional charge for moving blankets.

Here is the other side of the story. The customer packed her own things. Approximately 200 boxes, not the 100 she said she packed. All of her cartons were marked Fragile and were overweight for the size of the cartons she used. This was a downsize move from a house to another house and then to a storage facility for the furniture she was not going to keep in her new home. When the men arrived the customer was still packing and was really not prepared to have the crew just pick up the boxes. There were many items yet to be packed. Our contract did not call for packing. If we were to pack, we would have packed prior to the move, not on the move date. The customer did not want to spend the money for our packing service. We helped pack the balance of her items, but she refused to pay for the cartons we used. When we finally got the truck loaded, after helping pack the balance of her things, we went to the new house. At the new house, a townhouse), where everything had to be taken to the 2nd floor, we unloaded as quickly as possible so we could return to the old house to pick up the balance of her furniture, going to storage. However, there was really no master plan as to where exactly each piece of furniture was to be placed. My men had taken every piece of furniture upstairs, and then had to bring some of them down because it would not fit. The customer made them move each piece of furniture more than once. (Poor Planning). With reference to the bookshelves, the customer asked the men to put the small boxes on the shelves, because there was no more room in the house for anything. We told her it was not a good idea, but she insisted. At this point the customer retuned to the old house to pick up her cat while we continued to unload the rest of the truck. My Forman asked her to check with the security guard to see if we could return to the old house to pickup the furniture going to storage. (This was a gated community) All this moving, packing, and rearranging took more time than we estimated. and we could not get back to the house before the security would let us back in. Therefore we had no choice but to return the following day to move her into her storage unit. We usually rent padded blankets for protection while in storage, and again the customer refused to pay for this service. She did however allow us to put the padded blankets on her dining table, dining chairs and the buffet. When she was advised there would be a charge for this service, she objected and told us to remove the blankets. However, since these pieces were already in the storage unit we opted to leave the blankets on the furniture at NO CHARGE to the customer. Based on the estimate and the lack of preparation on the part of the customer, this move was well within the estimated range. The customer received boxes, blankets, and one hour of move time at NO CHARGE

Move On Demand gave me the best price out of all the estimates I received. They showed up on time and moved really fast. The crew was nice and professional. They managed to get my HUGE armoire up the staircase of our new house. I thought I would have to hire a hoist to get it upstairs but they did it and saved me about $600. Before they moved our upright piano I pointed out to Eduardo that one of the legs was already cracked from the previous move and they need to remove the 2 front legs before moving the piano. After he removed the legs from the piano he got out his tool box and fixed the leg for me with wood glue and some nails! I was so happy! He really went out of his way to help us and is so sweet. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone I know.
