Response from Terra Tiles & Pavers
Hi Mr. & Mrs. Customer, After reading your review, I was shocked to say the least. Your comments on our lack of response and professionalism are unmerited given the facts surrounding your project. I actually self-debated about posting a response to your review given that it is so distant from the rest of our client’s comments and feedback that it could be self-explanatory to the rest of our clients. However, with all due respect, I will try to summarize a few things. In regards to “responsiveness” where you gave us “B”: We have call logs, emails, and texts that are recorded that we reached back out to you within minutes. We even received and exchanged text messages during holidays, Sundays and late after hours just to make sure that you have answers to all of your questions. This is the way Terra Operates, not only with you, but with everyone. In regards to the rest of your ratings (price, quality, punctuality and professionalism), we always answered all of your questions. We were (and are) always honest and do not change our policies for different customers, but strive to provide the best service to each and every customer. In regards to pricing, we asked you to get other quotes so you can compare our pricing with others. This is the only way we can prove to you that we are competitive, legitimate and reasonable. In regards to quality we have a strong proven track record of very happy customers (more than 350 new ones during the last couple of years). Even after we finished, the paver manufacturer "Tremron" came out to your house to inspect the work we did per your request (behind our backs) and their feedback was, “…this patio looks great, there is nothing to complain about quality of installation or material itself, it is exactly what they picked and it was installed properly….please take some pictures for us so we can put it in our next brochure…”. We have taken your suggestions into consideration, but we just can’t and do not want to compromise the quality of our work and/or Terra’s work schedule and logistics for last minute changes on the and scope of projects during actual construction. We informed you and you were aware that your last minute changes implied ordering more materials, which the manufacturer didn’t have it in stock. It needed to be produced (or sourced from other manufacturer). We wish we could magically accommodate everyone’s needs instantly, but that it is not the way things happen in life, which is why we program everything in advance. In regards to punctuality there is nothing to discuss, period. Our crews, technicians, materials and me always showed up on time, please prove us wrong. In regards, to professionalism, which is a very ample concept that embraces everything said above and more, I don’t think that we were ever (or are) “C” professionals; this is just blatantly out of line. We take our work very seriously, that is why we grew 67% last year and all we get from vendors and customers is very good relations and friendship. We are definitely doing something right. We always educate, contract, plan and execute our projects in a very professional way. We are always on time; we pursue quality relentlessly; and we strive to be professional in every encounter. As I said before, I can always be reached at my cell phone or email. Javier Baptista Eng. ME, MBA, IBPC (954) 803-5982 jbaptista@terraremodeling.com
