The technician was very pleasant and efficient . The door was much quieter after he finished the job. I noticed some light coming in around the door after he left. I called them and 2 men came right back and adjusted the rubber strip around the door so it fit tightly at no charge. I would definitely recommend this company.

They replaced the broken door lock with a different doorknob lock. I went to Lowes and bought a replacement part for $10. They should have informed me of this option.

It went fine. A new doorknob was quickly and successfully installed. It did prove to be necessary to regrind the existing lockplate on the door frame to make the lock function. It was noted that, in the near to mid term future, it might be necessary to either re-hang the door, due to house settling making the existing door to be out of alignment or to purchase a new door and frame, as was recently done for the front door.

In retrospect it would have been much cheaper to change the locks myself. The Locksmith informed me that to rekey the deadbolt it would be more expensive because the lock was a smart key kwick set lock because it was a possibility that the lock would be ruined by rekeying. The lock was change in ten minutes and the lock was fine, which left me feeling like I paid too much for the service.

The lock was removed and fixed and reinstalled. The workman showed me parts that may not last and advised if needed new lock.

I locked myself out; the technician was able to get me in within 2 minutes. Being the bright person that I am, minutes after he left I locked myself out again with my cell phone inside the house. It was almost 11 pm but even after driving for almost 15 minutes the technician was willing to return, he got me in quickly and he did it with a positive attitude and a smile! I knew I liked this company. Would use them again for sure.

The technician was very capable and efficient. He showed up less than 24 hours after I placed the order and finished in less than an hour. Punctual, professional and quick...it doesn't get any better than that.

The company responded quickly to our inquiry about having the locks replaced on our outside door and sent a locksmith to look at the situation and give us an estimate within a day. We ordered special locks rather than have the basic ones the locksmith carried with him installed, and the order was placed immediately. Within two days we had a call that the locks had come in, but were the wrong ones so were being returned. The firm up-graded the locks to compensate for the delay, and the new locks were installed within a matter of days. The locksmith who came to do the work was polite, cleaned up after himself, and completed the work of installing the new locks in less than an hour. We were very impressed with their service and their proficiency..

The front door lock came loose within a week and I fixed it myself. The gate on our back fence door was done in a totally make-shift way. They really did an insufficient job in setting in a new lock, as rather than patch the existing hole, they made a homemade shim of sorts with two small pieces of wood that resemble match sticks. We were able to shake the lock loose ourselves, so it wasn't secure. The lock itself kept sticking and we are no longer able to lock the gate. they came back once to fix it, but it was outside of their warranty period. They tried to grease the lock and adjust the strike plate of the door latch, but that didn't work. I had to negotiate the little bit of work that they did provide. Nutshell, it was overpriced (way overpriced) and they really didn't stand by their work. To get the gate lock fixed correctly, I'll have to hire an additional locksmith. At this point, we are considering tearing down the fence anyway - so it was a total waste of money.

Scheduled appointment very quickly for a convenient time. Serviceman arrived on time, was professional, completed work well and showed me how to maintain.

The locksmith provided a courtesy call before arriving. He accessed the job and made recommendations. Excellent work and recycled the old locks.

I was impressed with the responsiveness by Keyed In LLC in arranging a service call. I had to change the date, which I did by an 11 p.m. e-mail, and the response for the change was immediate! Guy was very clear in explaining what work was necessary to repair my ancient garage door. He provided three alternative approaches and detailed the pros and cons of each choice. My only complaint has to do with the process of activating the coupon, it was done via web mail so, I did not have any record of the correspondence exchange in my usual e-mail records.

Did exactly as described. Nothing more. I did ask to check a light that did not go on when the garage door opened and told that is not included and would be more, but did not say how much. Since they left, the garage door does not always close. Something is wrong. I did not get a receipt or business card, so do not know who to contact. I would not use a service recommended by Angie's list again. I contacted the Keyed In about my problem and they got right back to me. Then on Sunday afternoon they came and corrected the problem. The technician was very professional, and corrected the problem and more for no charge. The follow up was excellent

Everything worked out well in the end, and Keyed In went out of their way to fix things. That being said, there was a lot of fixing needed... The first guy that showed up was ALL about upselling from the get go. If the Big Deal I bought was so insufficient, why sell it? Then he leaves the garage NOT in the same state he found it (old rollers on the floor, un-swept, tracks bent, clearner/lube on the floor). I even TOLD him I was giving him a chance to clean it up before I reviewed him on Angie's List, and he didn't care. The BIG problem was that I took one of my motorcycles out a couple of hours later, and when I came home the garage door wouldn't open properly. I called, reminded them that I was leaving for a 10 day trip the next morning, and I needed it fixed by 8 AM. He came back out at 7 the next morning, messed with it for an hour or so, then finally left it down and locked for the next 10 days. When I returned they sent someone back, and the second guy was a lot better, more qualified, and respectful. Come to find out, the mess up with the door burned out my old motor, and they replaced it with a new one. Never charged me for the repeat trips OR the new motor. So, short version: It was a pretty big hassle, but in the end they did right by me.

My experience with Keyed In LLC was good and they were very reliable. My only issue was that I felt I was being over charged. When I expressed my concern, he did come down on the price.

He was extremely professional. He called to say he was running about an hour late (but well within the time frame he had previously given). He appraised the situation and gave me a price which included the and quot;dealand quot; I had purchased. It was only $35 over the original coupon of $75. I did think that was fair. The work was done in about 15 minutes. I would definitely hire them again.
