Shay was right on time and explained everything very clearly

I needed a replacement deadbolt and a door re-keyed after a home renovation. The guys from Keyed In came on time, explained my options, worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves when they were done. They were very professional.

Keyed In refused to give a estimate to re-key each via telephone. Upon arrival their estimate was almost double, the price charged by another firm. Consequently, I did not use Keyed In.

Went well. Tech was prompt and cleary explained options we had. Work was done quickly.

Went great! He was on time and got everything done quickly and working great.

When they came to do the estimate he did not bring a price list for the doors I looked at and he just had me choose which doors I liked. He then scheduled another appointment to have me pick different doors. I later found out that the reason for the second estimate was because the original doors I picked were very expensive. I had to email him a few times to even get the initial estimate scheduled. He was always 15 minutes late but he did call to let me know he was runing late. They never discussed installation pricing with me. I just felt that there was a lack of communication about the entire project.

Arrived quickly within 1 hour and the service tech was very fast, efficient and professional. Was urgent to us as required medication was accidently locked in that room - they understood and responding quickly. Spoke perfect English - a real plus these days. . I did tell him I found them thru Angie's list and now as a logged on I see that there was a coupon for 15 % off that wasn't applied - disappointing but the tech probably wasn't aware what was on the Angie List website. But that won't stop me from using them again in emergencies.

The locksmith was there 10 minutes early and finished the work very quickly.

Quickly, effectively professionally. Obtain extra keys was easy and they filled the request within a few days.

It went wonderfully. The lock was installed upside down and they were able to take care of it promptly. He was so professional and very nice. I was very impressed.

Mortise lock installation was complex due to age of door and the parts were insanely expensive (a grand or more) due to the fact that they had to be custom assembled by the factory. Installation was also complex and took two techs about four hours. The work was expert, the guys were friendly, and clean-up was good. There was a minor problem with the keys they made for me onsite, but they didn't charge for them. All in all, this was an and quot;Aand quot; experience, assuming I wasn't rooked on the parts. All the other charges were in keeping with my previous experience with the locksmithing trade.

Called as promised Arrived on time Did work No complaints I should have read the AL deal more as the deal I purchased only covered the service call and not the labor. I'm sure it says this. I failed to read it correctly.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon from them. They were good. They came and did what I asked and it worked real well. They were right on time and I had no issue at all. They were real quick in coming.

Provider installed new, customer-supplied deadbolt and entry lock to front door of my residence. Only two problems: (1)Technician lacked a required tool and needed to leave job site to get the tool from a coworker. (2) After technician completed the installation and drove away I found that the entry lock did not lock properly. Company said lock must be defective and to contact manufacturer for warranty replacement. Manufacturer offered to send replacement, however I found that the lock only needed extra lubricant to lock properly. In spite of these minor problems the job overall went well and the service was satisfactory. Would use provider again.

and quot;Bait and switchand quot;. Claimed we were not in their service area (despite their ad) and wanted more money.

I contacted Keyed In on a Saturday after I noticed that the latch on the sliding glass door to my deck was not working correctly. The dispatcher scheduled an appointment for Tuesday morning. That was fine; I didn't consider it an emergency because the door could still be locked with a bit of fussing. The technician called ten minutes before he arrived, at the very beginning of the window I'd been given. He showed me what needed to be replaced, had the part on his truck, and completed the work quickly. I thought the part was expensive, but I appreciated that the work could be done without a second visit. I also appreciate companies that do not charge extra for using a credit card in payment. The technician also evaluated (at no charge) the locks on my front door and made recommendations for future work.

Unfortunately, they were unable to do the work as I requested, and I had to find another company to do the work.

They were prompt and did a good job.

I contacted Keyed In based on their Big Deal for a new Linear garage door opener as my existing Genie had failed. I spoke to Shay and he made it incredibly easy to schedule a visit and installation one business day later, providing me a two hour window instead of the more typical half-day or full day that some other service providers have given me lately. We agreed to schedule this for noon-2pm, but after discussing with my wife he was able to reschedule from 4-6pm instead. No complaining, no and quot;I'll need to check.and quot; This was a great start to doing business with Keyed In. Although Shay had said his team would call me earlier in the day and tell me when they expected to arrive, they called instead at about 3:55pm to tell me they would be there at 4pm. They were there almost right at 4pm on the dot. Once again, this is something I tremendously appreciate. After discussing a few options and making some measurements, the team got to work and did a great job installing my new garage door opener. At almost exactly 6pm, I paid and signed off on the final delivery. I would definitely use Keyed In again with this level of service. That said, they are probably not a low cost provider. I was able to find the exact items they installed for less than they were quoting, but of course their quotes included labor. Still, there is a mark-up there for Keyed In that I think is on the high side. That said, with the level of service they provided I was still extremely pleased with their work and would gladly use them again.

Lubricated garage door tracks, replaced rollers from plastic (which came with the door) with metal ones, gave me advice on keeping the sensors cleared of obstructions and was a very nice dude.

Response was fast and efficient from start to finish. Representative was professional and completed the work quickly. Service was a little pricey was getting the work completed quickly, efficiently, and professionally was worth the extra cost.

Project: change four new Baldwin door locks with different keys to a configuration to allow one key to open all four doors. Baldwin makes each lock set to a different configuration. The technician came to my house on time and gave me the cost of service and labor to change four Baldwin locks to a single key. Decision: The estimated total cost (in excess of $500) by Keyed In LLC is way to much for me and so I canceled before any work was done.

When I did, I was asked to provide three available dates/times for the service. I had assumed that I would get a call or e-mail confirming the date of service (since I provided three of them), but the guys just showed up... completely unannounced. They said that they just get the service info e-mailed to them and don't contact the customer before they arrive. Luckily, I was home taking care of a sick kid, but on any other Thursday, I wouldn't have been there. It ended up not being a big deal, and I'm very pleased with the service and the product. In hindsight, I think $499 is a bit much for the product and the service, but at the time, I just wanted it done. If I wasn't in such a rush, I would have shopped around more.
