Backyards to Barnyards was brought to life in 2009 to bring local areas of Connecticut and Rhode Island full service pet, farm, and home care. We have made it not only our mission but also our standard to provide your family with a peace of mind as well as your pets with personalized, compassionate, loving, and qualified safekeeping. Our service was designed to be as stress free as possible on your animals, closely mimicking your day to day routine and easing the change of your sudden absence.
Backyards to Barnyards comes recommended by veterinarians. For an added peace of mind, Backyards to Barnyards works with two local veterinary services (Foster Veterinary Clinic, Green Valley Veterinary Services, LLC) who remain on call in case of an emergency or if the need for medical care should arise in your absence.
Backyards to Barnyards is bonded and insured.
You're all packed, you've planned a wonderful trip, and you have one thing left to plan: care for your pets, home, and/or farm while you are away. Will your home be safe? Where do they go? What will they do? Will you have to rush around and find a kennel? Will they get attention? Their medication? Will they be happy, comfortable, their usual selves?
With Backyards to Barnyards, there are no more last minute trips to your veterinarian to get updated vaccines for the kennel. Your pets no longer have to leave the comfort of their own bed, yard, or house. Gone are the days of kennels, runs, sleeping on cement floors, cages, or the surround sound of barking dogs, nervous cats, and restless birds.
You can feel at ease knowing we're taking care of the most important part of your life when you cannot, given our veterinary experience and schooling. We are more than happy to administer any forms of medications prescribed to your animals.
Your animals will receive personal, one on one, full and undivided attention. We are happy to partake in your pets favorite activities, and they will be smothered with as much love as you yourself could give.
Your home will be safe, taken care of, and kept up with. Flowers will be watered, newspapers and mail brought in, trash taken out, shades drawn, and doors locked. When you return home all will be exactly as it was left, and your furry ones will be waiting happily with wagging tails, purring, chirps, and neighs.
