Larkin's Run is the ONLY place I would ever take my dog. My yellow lab has a chronic illness that requires daily medication and Larkin's Run has never missed a beat giving him his meds. He receives excellent care while he is there. I always book the extra playtime and a walk to help keep him busy and happy. I would cancel my vacation if they did not have space for him!

They are close at hand, appx 10 miles from Home. We had made a tour before hand unannounced, and was given a tour of the facilaties by freindly staff. Answered all our questions. Arrived in morning , had our dog checked in and made arrangements for the day, Lunch for the dog, and singular playtime. Found out that the "Playtime" was with no other dogs and would be supervised, which was fine with us. Picked our dog up before the 5PM closing pick-up time. Everything went fine , staff gave us a report on how our dog did on his first visit.. All was done very promptly

I visited prior to leaving them and was impressed with the cleanliness (no smell) and calm demeanor of the dogs who where there. They have some nice trails behind the kennels (the kennel is set back from the road in a pleasant wooded setting) where you can have your dogs leash walked (for a small charge per 5 min. increment). I think the dogs were more comfortable having the option to go outside instead of on cement. Staff seemed to be very nice and I also paid for them each to have a frozen "Kong" stuffed with peanut butter on the hottest day.
