I am the owner/manager of an apartment building that was built in the 1940's. The building had about 100 steel frame, single pane windows that were broken and not energy efficient so we began the process of gathering estimates for a replacement job. I had approx 6 bids given on the project, Dawn Windows was by far the lowest for a very good quality vinyl window. The installation process went very smoothly, considering there are 16 units in the building, and on schedule as explained to me by the owner. I will use Dawn Windows for my next project and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a top quality job at a reasonable price.

I went with "Dawn Windows" for my new windows. The process was explained to me how it all worked. The installers came out and measured the windows, the windows were ordered and when the windows were ready they would call and set up a time to install them. I, unfortunately couldn't take their first available appointment and had to postpone the installation for a week. The installers were very gracious and didn't get upset that I couldn't do it when they were first available. So many businesses are just push, push, push, more, more, more! Anyway, I was told it was a 2 day project, that they would be there at 9:00 and that's exactly how it went down. They worked very diligently! I absolutely love my new windows, I've noticed there's less outside noise, my air conditioner isn't running constantly, the times I've been able to open the windows up, they feel very sturdy and slide with ease, I can hardly wait for autumn to open up all the windows more often. The windows look very nice from the inside and the outside! The warranty is lifetime, transferable and the windows are made right here in Colorado. Everyone I dealt with in this company was a pleasure to deal with from the first girl that Saturday to the last woman, Dee, who brought the warranty over after the installation was complete!

We bought the coupon that Dawn offered in one of the Big Deals from Angie's List. A lady came out and showed us the windows and how they worked. She then took some measurements to do a bid from and said the installers would be out to measure very accurately if we accepted the bid. She was new yet very knowledgable and personable. She then sent us a bid which we thought was off a bit so we called and left a message to contact us. The owner Ron contacted us immediately and explained she was new and had made some mistakes to the bid which he promptly fixed and we went with the bid. We really appreciated how he handled it all. The two guys who installed the windows, Darryl and Vince, were just fantastic. They were nice, watched out for our little dogs underfoot and made some windows that are up very high easy for us to open. They took great care to install the windows securely and neatly. There was no mess anywhere when they left, just lovely windows that opened up so easily. Ron came to pick up the remaining check and talk with us about what we thought of the work. We would highly recommend them to anyone (and have). Ron really does care that his work and reputation remain highly regarded which is hard to find these days.

We had received a quote with Ron several years ago about replacing our windows but were not financially ready at that time to move forward – Ron was extremely helpful, patient, and let us knows that he would be ready whenever we were, he was not pushy at all. Ron kept in contact with us about once a year letting us know what the current tax credits were & if they had any specials going on. This year our neighbor had their windows replaced by Dawn & they looked so nice that we finally made the decision to go ahead with the project. Ron came back out gave us a new quote that was fair & the installers showed up a few days later to get the measurements. A few weeks later Darryl and Vince installed our new windows, they did a great job and were very pleasant to have around. They were very professional & neat, we wouldn’t even know they were here at the end of the day with exception to our new windows which keep our house cooler and quieter, not to mention look a 100 times better than our old ones. We should have replaced them the first time Ron came out instead of waiting 2 years.

The owner of Dawn Windows, Ron came out a couple days after we contacted him. Ron explained every detail to us and brought out sample of the windows they install. He was very professional and knows his products. He had contractors install the windows that were very, very good. They were professional and always cleaned up before they left. I called 3 weeks ago to make an appointment for an estimate. I spoke with Ron, the owner, and he came out a few days later. He is a very personable, down-to-earth guy. Before Dawn's visit, we had estimates from three other companies. Ron's price was $1,500 dollars less than another competitor - for the same exact window. We made our decision to go with Dawn Windows and their installer arrived a couple of days later, on time, to measure. The windows were installed today (just 2-1/2 weeks later). It started raining much earlier than expected and our two installers worked steadily in the rain for hours! What a team. The guys did a great job and were very professional. Everything was put back together and cleaned up after the job was done. Great price, great installation, great company. Based on our experience I would highly recommend Dawn Windows.

We had an overall great experience with Dawn Windows, and I would highly recommend the company and the Amerimax Windows and Doors that they carry. Our great experience started with the initial meeting with Indy going over the Amerimax windows and getting an estimate, to the actual installation about 3 to 4 weeks later. They accurately represented the product and the timeframe for installation. We are extremely happy with the quality of the Amerimax Windows and Doors and definitely notice how much more quiet the windows make our house. I am looking forward to seeing how they perfom in the hot summer and cold winter. Not enough can be said of the installation by Darryl and Vince as they are the face of Dawn Windows on site. These guys are fantastic. They do quality work removing and installing the windows, and at the end of the day, you wouldn't have even known they had been there except for the fact we had new windows on the house. All the finish work they do and the attention to detail make the windows look like they have always been on the house. Replacing 23 windows and 2 doors took 5 days. They were prompt every day, always courteous, and cleanup was fantastic - total professionals. And they took great care when they were inside the house. I highly recommend Dawn Windows and the Amerimax product.

The services were provided in a courteous and professional manner and the negotiations were comfortable and confidence was evident from the beginning. The scheduling for measurement and installation were met our needs and Dawn Windows was on time and ready for all the events during the process. All in all, this was a very satisfying experience, the outcomes and the company?s commitment to service which was always evident.

I had been considering replacing some doors and windows for some time when one of the doors shattered in the middle of the night so I decided to get on it. I got several bids on replacing just the glass in the door as well as for door and window replacements. The Dawn rep was the most responsive - came out promptly after I called, had my door boarded up with masonite, and worked out a satisfactory replacement proposal for the work I wanted done. The price wasn't the lowest of the bids, but it was fair and I felt comfortable (especially after reading other reports on Angie's List) - the doors and windows were ordered and the work was done when they said it would be done. The installers were prompt, respectful, and professional. They were careful, put down cloths, etc., and cleaned up nicely. The quality of the windows and doors is excellent (two are steel and the others vinyl) and I was pleased to get the work done prior to the end of the year so I can claim the tax credit. They did a great job and I plan to contact them for future work.

Ron contacted us. We considered Dawn Windows, and several other companies. We discussed the job, and examined the materials and options in detail with Ron the salesman/owner. We signed the agreement and the company showed up as promised and made the entire installation in two days, start to finish. The men were professional and took great care in finishing their work in superb fashion. From the inside of our home it is impossible to tell that a replacement window was installed. They were punctual, polite and left the house as they found it--very clean job! I highly recommend Dawn Windows to others who are considering replacement windows. I did find one other compnay that was lower cost, but for price/performance/quality, Dawn is the way to go.

The job was completed on time and everthing went great! We were impressed with the straightforward professional apparoach to get the job done.

I was told that there would be a significant surchange for just replacing two windows. It was a whole house replacement or nothing. I was also told that I wouldn't be able to be fit in before the end of the year. I didn't even have her take measurements because I wasn't interested in having all of the windows replaced. Even if I was interested in having all of the windows in my house replaced, I would not choose them. They were dishonest in the advertisement of their product. She even said that it wouldn't be worth it to them to come to replace the two windows. She wasn't rude to me or anything, but I think the problem was made in the office who easily could have told me that it wouldn't have been worth it for them to come out.

Made an in-home appointment for a replacement windows consultation. Owner Ron came out to the house and arrived 20 minutes early. Brought the Amerimax virgin vinyl window (manufactured in Loveland CO) with him. Was highly professional, answering our questions by giving his professional opinion. Felt we got pros and cons in an honest and informative way. The Amerimax vinyl product was certainly our first choice among vinyl replacement windows. Ron gave a great presentation, the most competitive bid, and was an all-around professional guy. He was also the only person to leave his bid with us on the same day as his visit! If you are looking for vinyl window replacements, you ought to call Ron. Ultimately, we decided on a fiberglass product that Ron doesn't carry, and we really regret being unable to give him our business.

The estimate by Ron was prompt and fair. Rick Palmer, the installer, did a first class job. He is very professional. My warranty was delivered the day the job was finished, along with the paperwork necessary for the tax credit. Overall, these are friendly, polite, first rate people.

They are great. They are very clean; they put down sheets, they pull out the vacuum, and they make sure everything is cleaned up after each window. They were willing to work with me on the price which was important because we had so much work to be done. We are using them because they have a really good product and they have a good rating on Angie?s List.

I contacted Dawn Replacement Windows to replace 9 windows in my home. The salesperson arrived one hour late to the appointment and did not call to say that she was coming late. She was not able to answer basic questions about the windows or installation. She left without providing me any estimate or quote. She said that she would send the quote, but one month has passed and I have never heard from the company again. I don't know how this company can have such positive ratings on Angie's List. I had a poor experience and thought the company was unprofessional.

Ron Gatewood, the owner, came to our home to do the estimate. He's very thorough, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Darrell and Vince did the measurements and installations of all windows. They are friendly, efficient and did a fabulous job. We had the same company replace the other 11 windows in our home last year. We liked them so much we had them come back this year to replace the remaining windows.

As stated above, Ron came out and measured our windows and gave us an estimate 5 years ago to comply with a lawsuit. We did receive money from the lawsuit but told Ron that we were not ready to replace them at that time. He waited patiently for 5 years, checking back twice a year or so and when we were ready so was he. He came back out, re quoted us, beat the competition and we signed a contract. We asked that the install not be before May 1st (weather) so they started mid-May and were finished in 6 days. Darryl and Vince were the installers (+ another young man) and they did an absolutely amazing job. They were courteous, neat, polite, efficient and very professional in every interaction we had with them. We love our windows and are already enjoying the benefits of professionally installed, new windows!!! Ron, his company Dawn Windows, and his team of installers were a pleasure to work with and we would recommend them anytime to anyone!

They were more interested in making the sale rather then meeting our concerns. Their formal presentation was not tailor to our questions and needs. Their quote was almost 50% higher then the company we choose.

Our windows were the subject of a class action lawsuit so we chose to replace them. Ron Gatewood and Dawn Windows did a superb job. They were always punctual and completed the job faster than they anticipated. They did an excellent job cleaning up and never left tools, equipment, etc laying around the house. The cost of these windows was considerably less than other bids we received. The house is warmer in the winter, cooler in the summer and our energy bill is at least %15 lower. We also notice a lot less noise from wind storms and the highway. I was particularly impressed with how smoothly the installation went and the quality of work. They really took their time with all the caulking around the windows and there was no mess at all on our woodwork around the windows. The installers were very professional and responsive to all our questions and requests. I would absolutely use this company again in the future and would recommend them to friends and family. I think they did an excellent job and I'm extremely happy with the product and installation. They also have a great warranty for the product and installation.

Both ordering and installation of the sliding-glass door and window was extremely easy and was completed satisfactorily. Once again Dawn Windows exceeded our expectations.

We have been very pleased with the whole process of window replacement with Dawn Windows. The installers were very courteous and reliable. They completed the job expertly each time they came. They were meticulous with their clean up. We always got prompt replies from any questions we had through their office management. We appreciate how the owner of the company came to our house to address any concerns or replacement plans. He did this several times over the 3 years. We would recommend this company to neighbors, friends and family.

We have used Dawn Home Improvement for the last two years. We had faulty windows and we need our entire house replace(sic). This includes two sliding glass doors. Last year we did one level of our house and this year we did the second level. Next year we will continue and do the basement and front door. We will again be using Dawn Home Improvements. Our neighbors have also used them. They had part of thier house done by another company and then switch to Dawn and were very happy. the salesman was great at working with us on what our budget could afford each year. They also offer no interest loans for a year. This has been a huge benefit for us. Their prices were better than the competitors. This is why are (sic) neighbors decided to use them on the second part of their house after what they heard what we paid. This year one of our windows had a problem. I called them and they were out the next day to fix it. It was just a small problem but they took care of me a year later. the installers are the best. they clean up after their work and they are pleasant to have around. They always arrived on time and worked well with my schedule. We highly recommend Dawn Home Improvements. We will be calling them again next summer to finish our house.

The person who came out did not seem that knowledgeable and he did not do the work himself. He told us that he would get the windows put up but we had to find a handy person ourselves to get the work done. We were totally put off by him. The prices were a little compatible.

Dawn windows did an excellent job from start to finish. Mr. Gatewood's estimate was accurate and the amount of time from order to delivery was exactly as promised. The windows were installed over a 4 day period and the 2 installers were very professional, they cleaned up the mess every night at the end of the workday. They did a great job removing the old windows and installed perfectly the new energy efficient windows. They were willing to take down our shades and then rehang them after the new windows were put in. We were pleased enough with the overall service to have already recommended Dawn windows to several neighbors and friends.
